Congratulations Treacle.

Welcome to the newbies. May your stays be long and uneventful Smile

Feeling v scared here today. I had a MMC at nearly 10 weeks in October.
I had some brown spotting at 8 weeks then noticed it again yesterday at 9 weeks. TMI...I've just noticed some pink spotting after BM and am now terrified that it's all happening again. I've spoken to the mw who seems to be following a script- get referred in by your GP or come in through A&E. After much persuasion, she offered a small amount of reassurance. Just waiting for 8am to phone GP. I though the stats of this happening twice in a row were minuscule???????

happygojo · 14/04/2015 07:51

Hi fifi could the pink after a bm be from straining rather than anything else? I know it is impossible but try to stay calm. Have you had a scan yet? I hope everything is ok for you xxx

fififolle · 14/04/2015 07:54

That's what I'm really hoping Happy. Will phone GP in a min.

They've booked me a scan for 8:30 tomorrow morning...I've booked a private scan for later this afternoon.

northdownmummy · 14/04/2015 09:19

Fingers crossed fifi

I'm 12 weeks today and despite having no issues and a good scan 2 weeks ago am feeling a bit anxious. DH was great when we chatted last most and has encouraged me to book a private quick reassurance scan for next weekend. £60 seems reasonable to put my mind at ease.

I see the consultant at 15 weeks, but that feels so far away

thesmallbear · 14/04/2015 09:22

I had some brown & pink spotting around the same time fifi and I'm 28 weeks now and all is well, hope your scan reassures you Flowers

thesmallbear · 14/04/2015 09:56

I had a GTT two weeks ago which came back fine. I'm at my 28 week midwife appointment now and +4 of glucose in my wee! WTF?

They are saying I'll have to have another GTT. How long does it take after eating sugar for it to come out in your wee? There were loads of cakes and chocs in the office yesterday. Could it be related?

Metalhead · 14/04/2015 09:56

I hope your scan goes well fifi, I've got everything crossed for you.

Congrats on your little boy treacle, and I think sunbathing has hit the nail on the head describing early movements as bubbles popping inside.

Thanks metal :) At least I know he's bouncing around in there. Even if I can't feel him.

Thank you for the good wishes. I've just had a bit more brown spotting. Will post after my scan this afternoon.
I was asking the mw for reassurance and just got "it's not normal to bleed at 9 weeks pregnant".....thanks for that! I'm wandering if it may be progesterone related but assuming they won't do anything about it.

broodylicious · 14/04/2015 12:42

Oh no small, that'd be an absolute arse if you've got to do another gtt! I purposely tried not to eat or drink anything on Sunday with much sugar in it, just in case it skewed the results. I don't know if I'd do it again tbh, made me feel dreadful all day and night. But then it is for my safety so... Eurgh I just hated it!

fififolle · 14/04/2015 15:51

It's gone. Two in a row. I really don't know why. Everything stopped at 7w+4days.

happygojo · 14/04/2015 15:54

good luck fifi

Yay for your little boy treacle I hope you can feel a bit more reassured now.

For me it seems to be sinking in that 'holy s*#t I am going to have a baby and be a mummy!' Especially as I woke up this morning with a leaky boob (just the one).....I can also now see the baby kick.... Well... She makes my flubber wobble.

fififolle · 14/04/2015 16:07

It's gone happy not pregnant. Again. Just feel shit.

Gr33dyeggs · 14/04/2015 16:24
