So sorry for your loss adventureThanks Look after yourself xx

daddy/mrse - hello! Lovely to hear from you, hope you are well and coming through your difficult patch xx

maverick79 · 09/04/2015 18:35

tentatively raises hand to give a little wave and to whisper 'i'm back'. Stats: me, 35, dh, 32. No DC, m/c 1: July 14 at 6w4d, m/c 2: 13th Feb 15 at 8w4d (twins). As of yesterday, pregnant. Providing a little evidence to support the theory that getting back on it straight away worked this time but knowing my head was so messed up after m/c 1 that I needed to wait that time...and that every time is different. Most tests come back ok at RMC clinic so far and am popping progesterone for the foreseeable. Should get first scan in two weeks. Taking the pragmatic approach since m/c 2, no room for anxiety or excitement, just taking a day at a time.
Loved the ladies on here last time and have read this thread to catch up, feeling so pleased to know that so many are doing well on their journeys ?

I'm sorry for your loss Adventuregame. Feel free to post on here as much as you like, as we all know a little of what you're going through. I agree about the TTC after an MC thread - it was a lifeline when I started trying again. I didn't feel ready to try again straight away though,so I found speaking to women on the miscarriage board a great support.

Congratulations on your BFP maverick Smile

Littlelady33 · 09/04/2015 19:09

Congrats maverick great to see you back here here's hoping for a sticky bfp! I'm stressing a bit less about movement. He seems to wake up a bit more after a cold drink so I need to just relax a little. I have my 25wk appt coming up wondering what to expect? Surely they'll listen to the heartbeat by now without me begging them to!?

broodylicious · 09/04/2015 19:25

little, yes you'll get to heart the HB at your appt! Mine is on April 21, DH's birthday, so nice little treat for him. Possibly tempted to take dd as well but will decide on the day. I think it's just the standard urine check and BP check too xx

Yay maverick welcome back! Best idea to just take each day as it comes.

adventure sorry for your loss. It is soooo shit. Trying again is scary and it is a personal decision. The MC boards and the the TTC after MC board were invaluable for me. I wasn't there for long though as I fell again on the first... Ahem.... Attempt! Hopefully see you here soon with a BFP but obviously feel free to lurk and post whenever. This board shows you the light at the end of the tunnel.

Well.... My OH has finally felt baby move! 22+3. Also had my interview with HR to go through my 'maternity pack'. Just need to decide when to finish for maternity. Seems strange to be thinking about it all. Still doesn't feel quite real!

Treaclepie19 · 09/04/2015 20:15

Sorry for your loss adventureland.
The ttc after mc board was amazing for me.

Congrats maverick :)

Boozle80 · 09/04/2015 21:29

Woohoo Maverick! Welcome back, may your stay be long and boring :). Congratulations :)

Thepurplegiraffe · 09/04/2015 22:21

Congratulations Maverick, really lovely to see you here!

Adventure so sorry to hear about your loss, feel free to post whenever you like. I am another "graduate" from the ttc after mc board, one of the nicest, most supportive threads I have come across, along with this one of course. Hope you get your bfp really soon.

StickChildNumberTwo · 09/04/2015 22:57

Congratulations maverick and biscuit, may your stay here be long and uneventful. Adventure I hope you find the right place to get the support you need, and if here's a good place to find hope then you're very welcome.

Why oh why does my husband not use his brain? - friends over for dinner tonight, me not drinking, him only bloody drawing attention to the fact . I mean, they're not stupid and she at least will I suspect have come to the obvious conclusion, but really, pointing it out?!!! Aaaaargh. And we now have a weekend away at relatives where the cork will be out of the bottle as we walk through the door so that's going to be fun too.

DaddysGoneAHunting · 10/04/2015 16:49

Cooooweeee Broody!!! lovely to see you! Wink I'm back in hospital next week for my second transfusion. Just counting the days approximately 62 left! Just want it over! How are you doing?

Metalhead · 10/04/2015 17:02

Congratulations maverick!

Had my blood pressure checked again today and it was still borderline, so have to go back to see my GP next week. Was feeling less anxious today so was hoping the reading would be better, but maybe the underlying stress of it all is just taking its toll. Sad

cherrylola · 10/04/2015 18:49

Hello ladies I've come to join you. I have one DS almost 2 years old. Had my first MC I'm February, discovers at 12 week scan. Had a positive pregnancy test a couple of days ago. Absolutely no pregnancy symptoms at all so I've managed to pretty much convince myself it's another MC.

Turns out the last one only grew to 6 weeks but took another 6 weeks before I had any idea at all.

I'm a hormonal wreck today, crying at anything and everything Confused

Treaclepie19 · 10/04/2015 20:15

Hi cherry and congrats :)
I had barely any symptoms up until about 8 weeks this pregnancy. Hopefully it's just not hit you yet, although a lot of ladies dont get much in the way of symptoms at all!

I decided to pull some weeds up in the garden earlier and ended up on all fours pulling them up.
Currently on the sofa with stomach pain worrying.
Why do I do it to myself?

Oh that's interesting sunbathing and metal while I knew that symptoms don't correlate with successful or not, I have always been confused that I felt my symptoms got worse as the baby hadn't progressed ( looking back after we knew) glad to know I wasn't the only one.

While we say that cherry that doesn't mean when/if you get hit like a tonne of bricks at 8/9 weeks you should overtly panic, symptoms basically just can't be used either way to reassure.

Our local store is having a promotion on the pram we want today and the next promo day is September (after my due date) someone please reassure me that 10% off is a good enough reason to buy at 19 weeks? Haven't even been interested in buying in anything else and don't plan to till later but think £55 off is better in my purse than theirs when it comes to the pram!

Welcome to the newbies/ returners. I'm more of a lurker, evidenced by this thread disappearing from my list!
cava happy pram shopping!
My mama mio rub arrived today but I'm afraid to open it now in case I'm tempting fate. I can see why the mw said reassurance from reassurance scans don't last long! I'm sure I spotted a new stretch mark though.

Littlelady33 · 11/04/2015 13:09

Welcome newbies and happy pram shopping cava! I did a little pram window shopping and testing with DH last weekend turns out there aren't that many options light and agile enough for the demands of Central London so we decided pretty quick. Fun playing with them all though. 25wk appointment all good today - hb heart fundal height apparently all good, and was very much told not to panic about movements until at least 28wks. To which baby responded by kicking me repeatedly. Phew...
