So heres a thread. Hope you all find it!

Congrats we've made it this far Wine

My worry at 5 weeks is I just feel apathetic and numb. Not excited, not looking forward. Not even fear. Just.... nothing. Constant knicker watch.

Plus wondering whether to push for an early scan and if so when? Losses were 9 and 11 weeks.

I hope so :( the first was as I was standing up. But then I sat back down and it happened again without me moving. It progressed to a weird a sharp pain on my right hand side above my hip, and a weird tummy feeling. Fuck. I can't even go to the loo to check as everyone has left me in the office alone. Although hopefully someone will come in soon so I can check.

Amyyy27 · 09/03/2015 15:48

Well no sooner than I posted someone came down. No blood. But that doesn't really mean anything yet does it :( damn damn damn!! I know cramps are normal but these were sharp pains I actually doubled over from. I then had a really short vibrating feeling behind my belly button... that I think is a good sign? So confused. Guess all I can do is wait and see and hope for the best.

fififolle · 09/03/2015 15:53

I hope you're ok Amyyy. Take care xx

Amyyy27 · 09/03/2015 15:55

Thanks fifi xx

chasingtherainbow · 09/03/2015 16:11

Amyy I had exactly the same thing when I reached for my drink last night. Completely normal. And i think I've said before I was an excruciating pain that brought me to my knees in v v early pregnancy with dd. . I had nothing pre bleeding with mc. Don't fret. Everything is SO sensitive in there right now. Try to slow down, stretch well in the mornings xxxx

Amyyy27 · 09/03/2015 16:18

thanks chasing you had told me that I just completely forgot in a panic. I consulted Dr Google and another lady had the same thing and was told by her midwife it is common in people who have had recent pregnancies/mc's. I don't know why. Feel a little better but I will be on knicker watch every 5 minutes. It sounds horrible but I don't think I am going to enjoy this pregnancy due to sheer panic at any little thing. That's if it even progresses.

Right I'm gunna shut up being whingey and get back to work. I don't have any baby glue to keep it in there so will just have to go with the flow wherever that may take me!

chasingtherainbow · 09/03/2015 16:25

I think we'll all relax from about 16 - 20 wks onwards xxxxx

Amyyy27 · 09/03/2015 16:30

I certainly hope so! Thanks hun xxx

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 09/03/2015 16:36

Amyy I had lots of really sharp pains in my first pregnancy. Really sharp. It was just things stretching I think.

No more spotting today so I don't know what to think. Just a couple of brown wipes yesterday. I think I'll go to doctor next week (if i make it that far) and see if they might consider referring me for an early scan at about 7 weeks. I just can't believe this pregnancy will be ok after seeing blood.
This waiting is torturous.

gennibugs · 09/03/2015 17:32

amyy I think pains are normal. I'm cramping at the moment and worrying too but trying to tell myself if normal....

guy I'm glad you've had no more spotting. Fx it stays that way. I know it's no reassurance at all really but many healthy pregnancies do see some spotting.

I think I'll worry the whole way through. For now I just can't quite let myself believe it as I'm so nervous it might be cruelly snatched away. Before I got pregnant last time I had NO IDEA how flipping awful the first 12 weeks of constant worry are. How naive! Sad

chasingtherainbow · 09/03/2015 17:59

Reading MrsC posts on other thread is reminding me what it was like and I've decided to tell my bosses.. However she's missed her bus and is stranded at work and I don't see her on Tuesday so will have to wait till next week. It was emotional hell going through it in secret last time and I don't have it in me to work through another mc if it should happen. If they were to sack me (after a mc) then I'd rather not work for them anyway! Though I don't think they're like that at all.

Amyyy27 · 09/03/2015 18:42

guy thank you. It was just worrying to feel something that painful. Pleased to hear spotting has stopped. Hope you can get booked in for an early scan x

genni thank you, normal cramps are perfectly fine are they causing you a lot of pain? And same here very naive also. We will get through it together. I hope chasing is right that we will get to a point where we wont be feeling half as anxious as we do now.

chasing good luck telling your bosses. I am considering telling mine for my midwife appointment, although not sure yet will see!

chasingtherainbow · 09/03/2015 19:11

Well.... that was nice & awkward. .

Gr33dyeggs · 09/03/2015 19:33

chasing?

Back from my lovely gp. No early scan - I'm not considered high risk bc mcs weren't consecutive. EPU would just refuse the referral. She did say at first sign of pain or bleeding to get straight in though.

I had a lower Vaginal swab done for peace of mind.

Sex is ok - I checked Blush

And the eye drops would have had no effect either.

A bit relieved right now. It was nice when she looked at results and said 'well you ovulated' and I said 'I know because I'm pregnant'. And she congratulated me. Stick stick stick.

And I'm so bloated. Look much further on than I am.

Greedy I bet that was really 'squee' moment.. to be able to share Flowers glad your feeling a bit better.

It was fine but went a bit like this

Me: 'boss, I need to tell you something. . I want to be up front, esp in case anything happens. I'm pregnant'

Bossed simultaneously: Shock Shock Shock

'Oh congratulations'!

Amyyy27 · 09/03/2015 20:29

chasing bet you are glad to have it off your chest!

greedy glad all went well. Bet that was a great moment!!

chasingtherainbow · 09/03/2015 20:39

I actually wish I hadn't said anything yet!

Guys I need to ask. I've been too scared to say. Those of you who are cramping/feeling stuff down there.... is it central?

Gr33dyeggs · 09/03/2015 21:08

I've had a few niggles in my sides. Mostly the right. Nothing central. Everyone is differences though.

OP posts:
Amyyy27 · 09/03/2015 21:15

Mine was mainly my right hand side with the sharp pains but normal cramp has been pretty much anywherw it has felt like going!

Oh why do you wish you hadn't?

MsJupiter · 09/03/2015 21:44

Hi everyone. All ok here although I've had a few pains too. So hard to know what is 'normal'. Had to do an emergency stop today when a car pulled out in front of me and was really worried after that but nothing to be done of course.

I told my old MN ante/postnatal group that I was pg again and then felt really stupid as I felt sure I'd have to retract it again soon. Just made me realise how hard it is to believe that this could happen.

chasingtherainbow · 10/03/2015 06:25

Oh thank god. I've been feeling them everywhere but central. Mostly to my left but sometimes to my right. Was getting paranoid. Phew. Thank god I have you ladies.

jupiter I think that's how I felt after telling bosses. Then I drove home in a state of worry about it all going tits up and being eptopic. Ofc then I Googled side pains and successful pregnancy after eptopic and made it a shit load worse.

Have you guys stopped peeing on sticks yet? I feel like I want to pee on one last frer just to see that line reaaaally dark.

Gr33dyeggs · 10/03/2015 06:40

I only peed on the one!

Glad you're feeling a bit relieved chasing.

Soo nauseous atm Smile Forcing shreddies down.

Was that jun 15 msJ? I'm waiting if until I've had a scan.

guy glad things seem yo have settled.

Happy Tuesday ladies!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 10/03/2015 06:45

I think I'm going to do a digi at some punt to make sure hormones going up. Massively paranoid after that spotting.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 10/03/2015 06:45

*point. Don't fancy peeing on a stick while punting.

Amyyy27 · 10/03/2015 06:56

MsJ if it makes you feel better i only learned to drive last year and i was pregnant at the time. I was reassured it would not harm the baby after endless questions

Chasing i have stopped! I dont want to torture myself anymore lol.

guy let us know how you get on. Hoping everything will be ok Flowers
