So heres a thread. Hope you all find it!

Congrats we've made it this far

My worry at 5 weeks is I just feel apathetic and numb. Not excited, not looking forward. Not even fear. Just.... nothing. Constant knicker watch.

Plus wondering whether to push for an early scan and if so when? Losses were 9 and 11 weeks.

No mega nausea again today. Am also very very period crampy right now so I'm really worrying :(

I'm going to wander out of work soon and try and find something I want to eat. I'm in a nice city with plenty of chains and middle class independent food establishments. Can't think of anything I want. Except maybe pate and I can't bastard have any.
Any suggestions? What are you fancying to eat through the nausea?

Guy I have really struggled with food. I am trying to plan my dinner today but still unsure! Theres a little place along the road does gluten free sandwiches but they are so bloody expensive I begrudge paying it! But other than sandwiches I don't fancy anything! I have been eating baked potatoes and brought in some cold boiled new potatoes some days.

Just to check in Re: baths......

To hurt your baby, you would have to have the bath so hot that it raised your internal temperature, which would make you feel very poorly and probably burn your skin. The thing about saunas and hot tubs is that they maintain temperature so if you passed out they would keep being hot... a normal bath cools quite quickly.

That said, I did find that my skin is a little more sensitive in preg so keeping the bath at a temperature that means that you can get in and sit down without easing yourself in bit by bit then that is a good test. Otherwise my skin seems to get really dry

I'm on a bacon and chicken wrap, ready salted crisps and apple juice. Im starving but on a bus so can't eat it. Grrr. To be fair though I haven't really had any aversions other than tea and actimel!

I couldn't stomach food so I am making my way through an almond milkshake with lots of ice which is helping.

Sick as anything here too. I can't manage much more than water or juice. Just met DH for lunch and ended up drinking some juice as thats all I could cope with! He ate my sandwich for me!

I am hardly having any nausea apart from around 5pm and occasionally when I clean my teeth. I know that's preferable to the opposite extreme but some symptoms would be more reassuring and as I am already too big, a bit of a lowered appetite would be no bad thing. The only thing I've felt a slight craving for is fruit/ fruit juice.

I do keep falling asleep though! Saturday night during a film, Sunday morning after waking up and Sunday evening when DH was putting DS to bed

I got my NHS appts through, booking in on 26 April and scan on 6 May. Surprised by scan as it will be 15 weeks since my LMP but perhaps they have taken the EPAU scan into account. I think I will be approx 13 weeks then so should be ok for nuchal. Just hope I make it till then!

Thinking of you Guy, I know you will be feeling nervous. Got everything crossed that we are all cheering later.

MsJ glad you have your appointments through. Where I am the MW has to send off for them to be arranged and she will only do that at booking in app which for me is not until 20th April :(

Sleeping is a good sign! That was really one of my first signs nodding off all the time! I would happily swap my nausea for yours

I can feel another vomming episode coming :( Probably my fault for having only a milkshake since about 10am!! I have had a couple of fizzy cola bottles as according MN they are good... I can't face them right now though bleurgh! genni feeling your pain!!

MsJ feel for you it's such a long wait!

Amyyy I have my booking appointment the same day as you! And same thing they will book the scan from there ?? so frustrating as could be weeks from there!

I guess it is normal for our symptoms to begin to ease off by now? We should probably feel relieved (haha) that we are getting better x

Aww Barbie its rubbish isn't it! I will be 10+2 by then and really worried about how long it will take to get a scan date! How far on are you now? I have a terrible memory sorry!

I do feel nervous but I'm not in a panic. It would be a shock if it was bad news simply because my symptoms are as strong and debilitating as they were with my pregnancy with dd, whereas they weren't as bad with my mc. It would be terribly cruel to get bad news when I feel this ill. But I know it happens. But I'm not as reissued as I thought I would be.
My mc pregnancy stopped developing at 6+5 so if all looks well today, I will have passed that. BUT like others, it was a mmc and I didn't actually mc until 11 weeks so even if all is well today, I might still be in a panic in a week or two because my body might not notice if it all goes wrong.

Just keeping my fingers crossed that we see a wee flickering heartbeat in a couple of hours.

Amyyy I will be 9+6 by then so a bit behind you. We get to (hopefully) see the twins again at 8+3 so counting down to that more Atm! (They weren't 100% on seeing heartbeats last week)

I'll be 11+5 at my booking if I get there so they will have to work quick on my scan appt, especially considering I think I ovulated early.

Not long now guy.

I'm a bit tired but need to stay up for the finale of TWD tonight!

Hiya been lurking for a few days. Finally had the courage to post! Ha. I think I'm possibly 7 weeks today. I had a mc about 18 months ago (didn't try in between - started ttc again 4 months ago). I've got an early scan on thurs and I'm dreading it. I haven't got many symptoms at the min. Boobs were sore but have stopped. I've got a big rash on belly and back and I've had some nausea but I keep thinking it's in my head.

I told a friend on Friday and she told me she is also 6-7 weeks which is v exciting but I'm stressing that she will get a baby and I won't. She's had morning sickness which I've not had and I'm actually JEALOUS! Crazy j know.

Wishing you all lots of luck. I see the worrying doesn't stop after scans etc.

MsJ please don't feel bad! I did ask for MS so serves me right i called in asda after work and stocked up on a load of microchips! I think i will just live on these till MS gets better!

barbie hope your scan goes well! Twins are so exciting!
