So heres a thread. Hope you all find it!

Congrats we've made it this far Wine

My worry at 5 weeks is I just feel apathetic and numb. Not excited, not looking forward. Not even fear. Just.... nothing. Constant knicker watch.

Plus wondering whether to push for an early scan and if so when? Losses were 9 and 11 weeks.

amyy yes by mine own calculations I'm 7+1. Awful isn't it.

onefootinthebed · 29/03/2015 18:08

Amyy it is,so Thankyou x

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 29/03/2015 18:44

Funny how a few of us sharing a date- I'm 7+1 too.
If this pregnancy works out, I haven't worked out what the due date will be. Can't imagine I would go over as dd arrived on her due date although I went into labour 3 days earlier

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 29/03/2015 18:46

I wonder when I'll stop using the qualifying statement 'if this pregnancy works out'...

onefootinthebed · 29/03/2015 19:03

Guy this is how my and dh conversation starts if we talk about ours. We always end with but let's not get carried away. Its hard to contain your hope .

Amyyy27 · 29/03/2015 20:15

Same here guy my favourite seems to be 'if everythings ok...' i just need some proper reassurance because right now im struggling to think further than a mc.

We do this too- get ahead of ourselves then have to pull ourselves back and think if all goes well...

Just had really sharp pain on my right side 3 times and then a bubbly crampy feeling across my stomach- I had to have a medical management (pessary) last time and have blanked what the pain was like.. Is this how it started with anyone? As the first thing j remember is feeling that I was going to pass a clot. Oh god I hope we don't lose these babies too :-(
On a more positive note still feeling sicky so hopefully all ok

Don't you all just hate this every tjme there is the smallest pain you panic x

barbie i had medical management too and i remember the pain vividly. It was extremely painful cramps whete i was rocking on the bed in agony, so try not to panic. I get normal cramping though and funny feelings accross my tummy ( and still have fleeting monents think shit is this the start?!). It will just be everything stretching and moving into place.

sasha thats my worry too! The only notice i had was a tiny streak of dark brown blood at 6 weeks and again at 10 weeks. Nothing more. No fresh blood. Im still not sure if it was linked to the mmc or not, who knows!

I so hope we all get happy healthy babies at the end of this! Keeping everything crossed!

I have a terrible memory sorry does anyone have scans coming up?

onefootinthebed · 29/03/2015 21:51

Arh barbie I know what you mean I've just had a bath got out and the stitch on my side is back, I know it's just a muscle I pulled the other week but my mind is running away though. I have just got out the bath and I'm just now worried that the bath was to hot.......

Toadyism pregnant and when I wake up I will be 2% better off.

mrsthoree3009 · 29/03/2015 21:55

Hello ladies
Well I have had the busiest day today-my sons 7th bday party! Luckily I have felt fine today despite yesterday feeling like absolute poop!

I have 3 more days to wait for the 12wk scan!! Scared and very much excited all at the same time eeeeek! I have been feeling 'movement' for the last week (and am feeling it right now) :) so I am hoping this time it will all be ok.....positive thoughts Flowers

Barbiedoll79 · 29/03/2015 21:57

Amyyyy aww I'm so sorry i didn't realise it could be so awful I must have been really lucky!

One foot if you don't mind me asking why will you be better off in am? Is it a particular milestone? If so congratulations and fingers crossed for you

onefootinthebed · 29/03/2015 22:02

Amy posted a link last week and according to the link your chances fall by 2% each day,but is based on data from research of 600 who got scanned each day, have a look it explains it. I might not relate to me but I look each day gives me abit of hope.

Amyyy27 · 29/03/2015 22:05

onefoot i just got out the bath and wondering the same!! You just reminded me i wanted to check dr google for an idea of how the hell you are supposed to know what is an acceptable temp! Im ised to really hot baths.

mrst that has flown over!! Good luck with the scan keep us updated! Hope your son had a great day.

Aww barbie dont be sorry! And the 2% better off relates to a link i posted earlier in the thread. It gives you the percentage of likelihood of miscarriage each day (on the basis that everything with the baby is ok on that day) so really to be took with a pinch of salt unless you have a scan confirming baby is well that day. Its very reassuring though (if you try not to think about mmc) that there is such a small chance! Will try and find the link again :)

Thankyou x

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 30/03/2015 06:34

Got my scan at 6pm today. 7+2. Scared.

Gr33dyeggs · 30/03/2015 06:44

Will be thinking of you guy

I woke up feeling fine. Worried. Now have some nausea. Phew. Just hoping it passes because I'm in work on skeleton staff this morning so its going to be tough.

How windy is it? ! Not great when all I can fit in to hide bump are flairy skirts. I've made sure I've got nice knickers on, should a Marilyn Monroe moment occur!

Regards baths I have no idea. Personally they make me feel ill at the best of times but perhaps if your skins bright red its too hot? I like hot showers though so i don't particularly follow that rule Blush

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 30/03/2015 07:14

Bath shouldn't be so got that your skin turns red. Less than 40 degrees or so.
Showers fine. The risk is raising your core body temperature which doesn't happen unless you are submerged for some time.

Amyyy27 · 30/03/2015 07:14

Good luck guy will be thinking of you!

Im really confused about baths and a little worried. Apparently it should be no more than 36° but then theres also places saying aslong as tou can get straight in and dont have to lower yourself in slowly, and it doesnt turn your skin pink, and you feel comfortavle and not hot/sweaty you are fine.

36 degrees is really fucking cold. I just have it slightly cooler than I would like but keep topping it up with hot. Probably closer to 40 but I only stay in 20 mins or so.
Don't think I was even aware of the risk with my first pregnancy and I love a hot bath. Spent most of my labour in one.

Barbiedoll79 · 30/03/2015 08:59

Best of luck guy!
Your Marilyn comment made me lol!

Hope today flys by for you x

Amyyy27 · 30/03/2015 09:12

Well guy that's what I thought it would be barely lukewarm! Surely in the olden days they continued with hot baths?

I'm gunna try not to worry about it. I think I would know if it was too hot for my body?
