Congrats we've made it this far

My worry at 5 weeks is I just feel apathetic and numb. Not excited, not looking forward. Not even fear. Just.... nothing. Constant knicker watch.

Plus wondering whether to push for an early scan and if so when? Losses were 9 and 11 weeks.

Afternoon guys,I had a great nights sleep and woke up feeling great,oh the power of sleep. My stitch is gone and I feel really positive (even though I'm in work) well actually I've done loads so I'm feeling productive.

I like the we are pregnant bit at the end of your posts and yes today I am and it feels good,might not in a few weeks when the morning sickness kicks in but hey ho. Hopefully it will be all worth it .

genni drs always said paracetamol was ok. I've had it a couple of times already with a sore throat and cold. Try and stay hydrated to help the headache go.

Well our friends have had a little boy today. Dont feel half as bad as i thought i would... but i want to meet him before our scan. I know i couldnt face seeing him if we get bad news! Feel like im planning my life around getting a bad result next week :(

amyyy I know how you feel. I still haven't seen a friend of a friends baby born in November when I miscarried.

I'm scared today. tmi but I'm very wet today and worried it could be another infection. Stupid body. Results due Monday. Actually scared going to the toilet in case its blood. And its weekend so no epu.

greedy i totally sympathise! Plus i am also having what feels like an extreme amount of creamy cm and worried about infection? Should i be?

Thanks greedy - I've drunk gallons of water today but still feel thirsty. I will try paracetamol I think if it hasn't shifted by the morning I think.

Ok glad someone has mentioned cm - I've got loads and was wondering if this is a usual thing. I forgot to mention it at the EPU yesterday but was worried it might be something sinister.

Its not sinister per se. Increased cm is a symptom of pregnancy but its also a symptom of infection. I'm just paranoid with what happened to me, I'm not meaning to scare you all!

Tomorrow I'm finishing off the easter bonnet for school with my ds.

I'm very damp too. Usually not a sign of infection unless a strange colour or smell.

I've got increased cm also. As far as I know everything is hunky dory so I think for you guys too.. worrying is such a bitch.

So I was very unwell on Friday? But then fine yesterday. . And now so sickness today either. So now I'm panicking. I've only the tiniest tiniest feeling of nausea. . Not the debilitating stuff I've been having.

Pleased im not the only one with lots of cm!

I always get loads of cm in pregnancy. It's normal.

I have woken up sans nausea and just wolfed down a bacon butty and cup of (decaf) tea. The first time I've fancied tea in 9 odd weeks. I really hope I'm turning a corner and if so, its not long until the rest of you follow me round it!

My stomach is making some loud grumbling noises now though.

I'm glad cm sounds normal, I shan't worry then.

Chasing - I had 2 days with less nausea etc last week. I think the symptoms do ebb and flow sometimes. So try not to worry easier said than done I know

Today it's the worst it's been, sick this morning and can't stop retching. I cannot face anything other than water - how on earth will I cope with my commute and a full long day at work tomorrow. I don't think I've felt this ill in my whole life!

Actually I seem to remember reading that all the extra cm in pregnancy acts as a barrier to infection. So you could see it as your body working hard to protect the pregnancy.
Unfortunately can't think of anything comforting to say about throwing up.

Hmm... Got some brown spotting that started a couple of hours ago. Just 3 days after when I started spotting last time.

I guess if it's still going on tomorrow then I will go to the epu. But there's not much they can do of its just the same thing happening again.

Sorry GirlSailor, I know you must be worried. I had some a couple of weeks ago and was really scared but it didn't seem to progress into anything. How many weeks are you now? You might be able to get an early scan because of your previous mc.

Guybrush I'm only 5+2. I was 4+6 when I started spotting last time. So I think the same thing is just happening again.

I got pg right after I stopped bleeding so at least of it doesn't work out there hasn't been months of trying in between. It could be a lot worse.

Bit early for a scan then. Just keep an eye on it and if there is more, you could have a scan in a week or so.

Ah girlsailor I hope all is ok. I had spotting last week and it was so worrying so know how you feel. Keep an eye and perhaps give epu a call if it doesn't settle to see if you can have a scan at 6 weeks or so. It might hopefully develop into nothing.

Thanks guys! I'm just on the way back from DP's family - we were visiting for his Bruce's 2nd birthday - and have finally got on the train back to civilisation after it was 45min delayed and waiting in the freezing rain. My fingers are finally returning to a normal colour and I will feel much less sorry for myself back at home I'm sure.
