Congrats we've made it this far

My worry at 5 weeks is I just feel apathetic and numb. Not excited, not looking forward. Not even fear. Just.... nothing. Constant knicker watch.

Plus wondering whether to push for an early scan and if so when? Losses were 9 and 11 weeks.

Glad you've got the GP appt Genni. I hope they can get you into the EPU today. Mine wasn't an implantation bleed as I had that a few weeks ago but was some blood from that site which they said could come out at any point. I really hope you get seen and get some good news but we are all here for you either way. Lots of love

Aww genni I'm so sorry you've woken up to that :( But like everyone has said you still have every chance of things being fine. I know you must be worried sick so pleased you have managed to get a GP appointment and I hope they can scan you today instead. Don't worry about work you have enough on your mind! Thinking of you

Morning all. Whinge warning! I'm feeling shit. I've got an upset tum and feel sooo sick. I told oh and he said 'its the 4th time you've been pregnant surely you remember feeling like this b4'? I think you block it out! And he asked how pregnant I am and I didn't know coz I'm to scared to follow it. So I worked out I'm 9+1. My first mc was underway by now.

I need to get up coz I'm having my hair cut at 1. Bleurgh.

Hello all. Little update from me. I went to the GP who was very sympathetic but said really it was a horrid waiting game and not much she could do - as I expected. She tried ringing the local hospitals to see if any of the EPUs could see me today but the earliest any could fit me in would be tomorrow afternoon and I had an existing appointment at the EPU tomorrow anyway. As it's just spotting/very light bleeding it's not seen as an emergency which I suppose is fair enough. She kept stressing that many woman do have spotting etc in the first 12 weeks, but if guess when you've been through what we have, even the slightest spotting panics us and it's hard to see a positive outcome.

I've just been to the toilet and it seems to have slowed down but still there so I guess it's just a fraught day and night ahead until we get to the EPU tomorrow and hope that it doesn't worsen.

Hi guys. Sorry for delay. The nausea is so bad today I got straight in bed. ..

Baby chasing looks to be perfectly healthy so far. Just to show how innacurate it can be at daring at this stage, I measured 5+5..Then a few minutes later a new angle showed me to be 6 weeks on the dot. By my definitely accurate dates I'm 6+3 and she said it can be up to 5 days out either way so I'm sticking with mine!

It was a huge huge relief but I am feeling slightly shell shocked almost.

I also have a luteal cyst? On my left ovary which she said is completely normal and she thinks baby came from that side, which I also felt I was sure of too.

Ooh genni thinking of you. If you can maybe try to relax as much as you can today - can you stay comfy on the sofa and watch something distracting until you can go to the epu tomorrow. Hopefully it will be reassuring news.

chasing I can't speak for anyone else, but good news for you is good news for me. I'm happy to hear everyone's good news, even if I'm not feeling great myself.

Not that I think anyone who gets upset is wrong - everyone feels things differently and what makes you sad makes you sad. Just for me, I'm glad you shared your happy news that way! It's very considerate of you to offer though.
