So heres a thread. Hope you all find it!

Congrats we've made it this far Wine

My worry at 5 weeks is I just feel apathetic and numb. Not excited, not looking forward. Not even fear. Just.... nothing. Constant knicker watch.

Plus wondering whether to push for an early scan and if so when? Losses were 9 and 11 weeks.

Welcome pickles!!!

Does anyone suffer ibs? I've always had a low level form but I am finding even if I just need to fart I get strong front and centre pains until it's released. It's so hard to know what's what! ... god I'm sexy.

My bloat bump is fucking massive. Being a sz16 too, I look about 5 months! Have had to bring out the maternity jeans for comfort. .even the slightest feel of material on my stomach makes me feel yuck. DH came home yday and I was wearing stripes and he was like... "omg.. your tummy. . Wtf"! We dug out old pics and I found one at 9 weeks with dd and I was big then too.. I was v slim then but my tummy just went big and round way before it even popped out my pelvic bone so I guess it's just worse this time because of 2nd pregnancy and extra weight!

chasingtherainbow · 21/03/2015 08:37

I just realised I said 2nd pregnancy. . Like assumed it's successful. . . Wow.

chasingtherainbow · 21/03/2015 09:28

Have had strong period pains continually since I got up an hour ago. I think I had them last night too as I remember going for a wee and feeling uncomfortable. I'm freaking right out.

happy yes she does know and she was amazing she couldnt have done more. The problem is after mc she said if we got pg again we shouldnt tell anyone including her until we had our 12w scan and everything was fine. I know she means because its less pressure. The whoooole family knew really early on last time. But still... she said she didnt want to know and at 6 weeks its still really early. I think we are gunna hve to say though. She is the type who is not happy until everyone has a drink in their hand!

chasing ive bloated too and exactly the same with clothes everything is just uncomfortable!

pickleandflux · 21/03/2015 13:05

Thanks everyone! It's nice just to know that I'm not crazy and that others share the same worries. Chasing I'm feeling bloated too and my ibs is flaring up. In my case probably nerves (and too much naughty food Blush). Amy I'm sure that your mil will understand and be discreet.

Amyyy27 · 21/03/2015 14:07

Well we have managed to get out of going! It is a distant relation of OH so dont feel too guilty. I actually dont feel well today feeling very run down and have told mil im not well and she has told us not to go and get some rest... so i will! Im pleased really i would much rather surprise her with a happy scan pic hopefully

MsJupiter · 21/03/2015 14:37

That's good Amyy, takes a bit of pressure off. Have a restful day instead, sounds like it's what you need.

I've had more pinky discharge, still feel surprisingly ok about it. Well maybe not ok but not tearful either, more of a grim 'well let's see' feeling. I think I overdid it this week so am currently curled up on the sofa.

Amyyy27 · 21/03/2015 21:41

MsJ sorry you are still spotting :( as if this wait is not difficult enough! I hope everything is ok Flowers

Well i have been sooo exhausted today i have slept through most of it! When i woke up i have found out i got through my recent interview. Theres a couple of assessments to complete now but pretty much through! Scary. Will have to wait and see when they want me to start and go from there.... i have gained very sore tender boobs and taking comfort that i finally have a proper sign of pregnancy! I really hope it means this little bean is progressing well.. but i am no longer naive so not getting my hopes up until we have our scan... and even then will find it hard to believe!

onefootinthebed · 21/03/2015 22:09

Evening ladies

So I'm 14 dpo and had a positive today.

I am 39 and have 1ds and in 2014 I had 3 early miscarriages. I am so scared as my last miscarriage was traumatic.

I have period type pains ,I think the next the next 6 weeks are going to be tense.

Glad to see so many positive on here. I recognise some names from the miscarriage page as I am a huge Lurker. I imagine I will be a lurker here too but just needed to share with someone other than dh.

Gr33dyeggs · 21/03/2015 22:27

Welcome pickle & one foot

msJ glad you're resting. I would definitely do the same this time if spotting were to happen again.

amyyy a lazy day sounds fab and I'm glad you got out of the party.

Still feeling icky and I'm shattered. I fell asleep about 8 on the sofa. Another early start tomorrow then 2 days off - some serious r & r will be happening then.

Hi pickle and onefoot. I have everything crossed for you both after all you've been through. Onefoot I also have a DS and am almost 39 too.

It's been a good quiet day. I feel quite fatalistic about the spotting and the pregnancy but at least I know I have given my body the chance to rest today. This will sound awful but if nothing else I'd like a week or so to pass after my sister's mc if something bad is going to happen. I just don't know how I'd tell my mum if it happened this soon after.

GirlSailor · 21/03/2015 23:28

Hi and congratulations pickles and onefoot. I just went out to celebrate a friend getting a new job and bought a round of swanky cocktails so I could get the woman behind the bar to make me something non-alcoholic. I think I basically ended up with a pint of orange juice. Grin

pickleandflux · 22/03/2015 07:19

Well I must win the prize for the shortest time on the thread - looks like it's been a chemical pg as af arrived this morning Sad. Only comfort is that it has happened now rather than another mmc, but not much comfort at all. Can't believe this is happening. It's so bloody unfair.

MsJupiter · 22/03/2015 07:55

I'm so sorry pickle ThanksThanksSad

I don't suppose there's any outside chance it could a breakthrough bleed or some blood from implantation?

Amyyy27 · 22/03/2015 08:03

Pickle so sorry for the bleed :( i would have also asked the same as MsJ? Flowers

Welcome and congrats to onefoot Smile

Hope you're all ok. Still feeling like death here but one day closer to the scan 13 days and counting!

pickleandflux · 22/03/2015 08:05

Well it's pretty heavy so I feel resigned that it's over. I'll do a test after the bleeding stops just to make sure Sad

onefootinthebed · 22/03/2015 09:21

Arh pickle, hope you are ok xx

Amyyy27 · 22/03/2015 10:01

Aww im so sorry :( thinking of you x

officelady · 22/03/2015 12:38

Hi guys, pickle so sorry your stay seems destined to be a short one - I don't know how you feel about things but after my first mc I found it quite heartening that at least I got to see another BFP, even if only for a short while. I don't know why but it gave me hope that at least I was doing something right, just need to catch the right egg next time round.
I am still spotting on and off all day long - mainly brown but with the odd drop of red thrown in just to stop me from getting hopeful. Still no preggo symptoms and I haven't told dh I am (possibly) pregnant yet either. As the days go on, I keep thinking I really should tell him, then I get more spotting and think what's the point, I'll only have untell him later. In theory I am now 6 weeks but I have all but given up hope. I'm carrying on life as normal, apart from remaining teetotal, and just having a wait and see approach. If nothing has happened in the next couple of week I will make a doctors appointment and see if I can get referred for a scan.

chase how are you doing today? Any more cramps or did it settle down?

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 22/03/2015 15:16

Symptoms left me for 24 hours and are now back. Hoping they stay that way.
So sorry pickle. If it is going to happen, it is much better to be now rather than later. Thanks Thanks for you.
Sorry you're worried too office. I've had some spotting too, although not for a couple of weeks. You could get an early scan this week as they should be able to see a heartbeat before 7 weeks.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 22/03/2015 17:19

Does anyone get backache during early pregnancy? I can't remember if I did with dd but I definitely had about 3 days of severe but full constant aching about a week before I mc last time.
I keep getting twinges in my lower back now and for the last couple of days and it's making me worry. I've always felt my period pains in my back and actually I felt my contractions there with dd. But I'm not sure it's a good early preg symptom.

Gr33dyeggs · 22/03/2015 17:58

Im not sure guy sorry. Perhaps stalk the october or November thread to see if others mention it?

Sorry pickle I hope you have support and hope to see you back soon.

officelady I'd tell your OH. When I nearly didn't tell mine, he was quite offended to think I may have to go through things alone if they go wrong.

I seem to have got into a routine of wake up, brush teeth, shower, dress, prepare breakfast, throw up, brush teeth and eat breakfast. Nausea on and off throughout the rest of the day and an awful taste in my mouth. Oh and wanting bed by 8.
I want to take these as positive but I was just the same with mc.

Amyyy27 · 22/03/2015 17:58

guy ive had a lot of lower backache but never with mmc. I think its a typical pg sign :)

office sorry you are still spotting Flowers i would tell your DH exactly what is going on. I hate to think you have no RL support or hugs at a very worrying time :( x

MsJupiter · 22/03/2015 18:08

Guy I think it's most likely to be a normal pregnancy twinge, your body starting to change shape and alter its centre of gravity. However it is something they check for (or at least my doctor did) so worth mentioning to your GP especially if it gets any worse.

Still pale pink-brown here. Just hoping it's a tiny bit of old blood working through. If it continues I will let my GP know.
