Congrats we've made it this far

My worry at 5 weeks is I just feel apathetic and numb. Not excited, not looking forward. Not even fear. Just.... nothing. Constant knicker watch.

Plus wondering whether to push for an early scan and if so when? Losses were 9 and 11 weeks.

I knew it would be more difficult this time round when you know the risks... but did not think it would be this bad!

Don't know. Still no more spotting so absolutely no way to know. I've booked a private scan for 30th when I'll be just over 7 weeks. Fingers crossed I get that far.

It's a light minty green so perfect for either (i think) .. The cute hat made me cry.

Having it makes me feel so much better and feel more real.

Come on midwife. Call me already.

I almost ordered a baby bundler from the white company today as they had 20% off but was 4.95 delivery so changed my mind. They have a two pack on Marksys for £10 I might get instead, my dm assures me they are a godsend.

It's from boots. . Was just walking through and spotted it! It had a gorgeous vest I loved that matched but unless you have a summer bebe vests ate rarely seen so pointless getting lovely ones.

Wow i am an emotional wreck tonight! I cannot stop crying over the death of the amazing Terry Pratchett (although i do love him so would have been reasonably upset anyway!) However i also cried when i couldnt be bothered to make tea and my microwave meal tasted disgusting which i knew it would! I think a bath and an early night is in order here! Hope you ladies are well xx

My 6yo said last night 'your boobies are massive, its because there's milk in there' . We're not even mentioning it when he's not here so goodness knows where that came from!

Amyy I'm proper unravelling today too. After waiting yet another day for a mw to call me back, I called the epu direct. Dissolved into floods of tears and I have a gp app to get an epu referral tomo. . But they can't scan me yet at only 4+4, so I can go in and chat to the nurse but I have dd tomo so I think it's pointless. I'll probably ask the gp if I can go next wed when she's next at preschool/I'm off work.

Panty watching like a hawk now. Tomorrow will be the day I started bleeding with my ectopic.

My tits are enormous today. And they really really hurt. Hoping this is a good sign.

That is definitely a good sign, Guy. I have some kind of low level nausea but it feels more like nerves than morning sickness. I also have sore boobs but I think that's because I keep prodding them to check whether they are sore

Dd woke up this morning. .

"Mum (pulls my eyelids open) is there another baby in your tummy now"?

Me: "um.. why"

Smallchasing: "oh. I just really want them to be in your tummy now. I thought it was"

I hope this pregnancy progresses so I can tell her there is. She's still very sad about the last time and I don't want to put her through that again. I was very foolish to be so open in front of her last time.

Feeling less hysterical today. Will see Dr and see how that goes.

I feel so poorly. Couldn't catch my breath all night, so tired and just been sick. Not sure if its due to a chest infection or genuine morning sickness.

And its snowing. Normally I love it but don't fancy the school run in it. Probably safer to walk today.

greedy hope you feel better soon. I have been struggling with my breathing too through anxiety, is it possibly that? I have been using the headspace app and it does seem to help a little.

Well after worrying my backside off about having no MS, i have woke up today ill with it. On my day off. The day before my interview. Yay! Lol that will teach me... although i do feel relieved.

Amyy you changing jobs? How will that affect your mat pay/leave?

Yes i am! Well this job will give me an extra £350 a month than what i get now. So i won't be entitled to maternity pay from them but i will get the goverment one at £138 a week. So i will be missing out on the first 6 weeks at 90% ... but if i stay where i am thats not much more anyway. Whereas i can save up the extra money in the new job to cover (and more) the higher rate i would be missing. Plus my work causes me so much stress i just need out! If i don"t get this job though i will be staying where i am until i return from ML and will look for a jew job then. I had been looking before i got pg last time.. Stopped looking when we found out and then agreed after mc i couldnt put my life on hold until a baby came along so would apply for jobs and if i were to fall pg we would deal with it lol.

amyy sorry the dreaded MS has struck. Hope the interview goes well - I totally agree you can't put life in hold and being happier is worth more than extra money imo if you can manage without.

I've been feeling very nauseous but im putting it down to anxiety rather than morning sickness at this stage I think. Work is stressful which isn't helping my anxiety either too.

Starting to feel a tad more positive about things now but still on knicker watch lol. Im nearly 10 weeks (according to my dates) and have my booking in appt on Tuesday, hoping they give me an early scan.
Last few days I am REALLY starting to show! Even my 11yr old asked if I was pregnant or just getting fat last night! Lol :/ I have 2 children and have lost 3 in last 2half yrs so maybe thats why Im showing early....anyone else showing early? Seriously by evening I look about 5m!!
