So heres a thread. Hope you all find it!

Congrats we've made it this far Wine

My worry at 5 weeks is I just feel apathetic and numb. Not excited, not looking forward. Not even fear. Just.... nothing. Constant knicker watch.

Plus wondering whether to push for an early scan and if so when? Losses were 9 and 11 weeks.

Amyy that sounds a fabulous opportunity. . I will be crossing everything that you bag the job!!

My boobs are always huge but I'm very aware of them atm. My Nipples are extremely sensitive although the stabby left boob has subsided it seems.

Just back from the drs. Had a yr4 med student in with a 60 odd priest dr. . . Med student just stared with a blank face in between asking stupid questions and priest dr tried telling me I couldn't be feeling pregnant at -then was calculating my cycle out loud- 18 odd days pregnant. [Hmm] he left the room and I burst into tears and the med student seemed to relax without him and was really sympathetic and more forthcoming. I got my epu referral and they agreed I should wait till 6 weeks to go unless I'm poorly. Will phone and cancel my private scan..

chasingtherainbow · 13/03/2015 09:49

3009 you definitely show earlier progressively with pregnancies. Enjoy your little bump and good luck for booking in! X

Amyyy27 · 13/03/2015 09:50

Thanks genni i am not leaving for the money but the happiness, the money is just a bonus lol. I hate where i work right now and just want out.

MrsT ive heard you show a lot quicker if you have already had children! And great news to hear everything is going well :)

Well my dog has decided to give me some baby experience this morning, ive had sick and poo all over and down my jumper yay!

Amyyy27 · 13/03/2015 09:54

chasing so sorry he brought you to tears thats awful :( what a prick! Glad you have a referral though! And thanks hun :)

chasingtherainbow · 13/03/2015 10:06

I hope your dog's ok Amy!

Gr33dyeggs · 13/03/2015 10:28

chasing glad you got your referral.
3009 I'm huge by evening at 6 weeks and experiencing bloating after meals. Not great at work.

amyyy good luck with the interview. Sorry your dog is poorly.

So I'm back from booking in. The mw actually brought up if I'd rather transfer care away from local. So I have - shes put in a referral to the teaching hospital I work at. She said I can come back local at any stage if I change my mind which is good to know.
She's asked me to see her again regardless of the transfer coz she remembers me from 7 years ago with my son and wants to see how I get on.
I mentioned pains and she said all normal due to huge increase of blood flow to the uterus. So maybe we can relax a bit!? She said try to relax although easier said than done and take one day at a time. Oh and she filled in my exemption certificate.

Im back off to bed to try and sleep myself well now.

I am massively bloated. I can't suck it in to save my life. I'm eating really healthily but no difference. I'm only 4+4 so am just looking nice and fat(ter) .. I think I'll be bloody huge at full term though.

chasingtherainbow · 13/03/2015 10:37

Greedy what a lovely booking in app! I'm glad she agreed to transfer. What's an exemption form? All this suddenly feels such a distant memory from when I had dd. Sleep well lovely.

mrsthoree3009 · 13/03/2015 10:50

Glad its not just me feeling like a fatty boom boo then! I work at a primary school and its gets more and more hard to hide the bump :/ we dnt want to tell anyone until our 12wk scan milestone!

gennibugs · 13/03/2015 11:08

greedy glad it went well. thats good to know re the pains.

chasing glad you got your epu referral. I'm sorry the doctor didn't have a better manner.

amyy poor doggy (and poor you). What type of dog do you have? I have a cat who is my spoilt baby, we'd love a dog but just can't right now with the hours we work. Maybe if this pregnancy sticks and I reduce my hours we could get one then.Smile

I am also feeling fat. i can't even blame previous pregnancies haha. I think it might be because I've stopped the gym as I'm terrified of something going wrong - I guess going from working out 5 days a week to practically nothing would cos me to pile on the pounds. ugh.

Gr33dyeggs · 13/03/2015 13:25

The prescription payment exemption chasing and that does look very baby bump.

amyyy my asthma is triggered both by respiratory illness and anxiety so I have a double whammy atm. It does seem to be worse in pregnancy too. Im just hoping its a sign of things progressing well.

A 2.5 hour nap and still exhausted and ive promised ds a just dance off on wii when he gets home from school.

chasingtherainbow · 13/03/2015 14:45

Oh yes. I remember getting a card about 20 wks I think. I'm looking forward to getting mine ... I need dental checkup :-D

I had an hours nap yesterday and woke up feeling absolutely awful. Caught dh on a rare lock lunch break and we've agreed he's going to try and get Thursday 26th morning off so we can go to the epu. . I'll be 6+3. I'm focusing all my energies on visualising a little flickering healthy dot on the screen x

Amyyy27 · 13/03/2015 16:30

Hi ladies thanks for the concern! I have mini schnauzer she is so lovely! She has had a little bit of scrambled egg and is back to her usual self! We are lucky in the fact my future mil is retired and got a puppy just before us and agreed to have ours during the day when we are working.

greedy hope its a good sign! But rubbish to have to put up with :(

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 13/03/2015 22:23

I THINK I'm already having stronger symptoms than when I mc. I'm not certain, but I'm sure my boobs weren't this sore- they are really bad right now. Nausea is now as bad as it got last time, but obviously it's still early. With dd, the bad sickness stated around 6 weeks.
Going to bed now. I want to force myself to open my eyes and watch more comic relief but I can't watch any more dying children. I can't bear it Sad Sad

Gr33dyeggs · 14/03/2015 10:09

I hope you're right guy. I was nauseous all yesterday and sick once and was sick and nauseous this morning until a breakfast of bacon, hash browns and scrambled eggs. I'm dreading going to work next week.

ReverseTheTrend · 14/03/2015 18:02

ugh, had mega anxiety today about other things going on in life, and it seems to have turned me into full blown pregnancy panic.

Back to see my therapist this week I think.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 14/03/2015 18:07

Just got a 3+ on a digi. 5 weeks pg today. That's good news isn't it? Don't want to get hopeful after last weekend's episode.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 14/03/2015 18:39

Haha my autocorrect refused to write JUGS! I hate it when my phone is coy.

chasingtherainbow · 14/03/2015 18:46

Coy phone Grin

Amyy I'm crossing everything for you. I am too much of a weakling to take a job without telling them BUT everyone really is just out for themselves. You take it and do what's right for you and bean. Screw them. There's no need to tell them you knew either. What with you being so career focused and all.. Wink

Counting down to the 26th for our scan. It's soooo far away.

Amyyy27 · 14/03/2015 19:30

Haha well im the same really i think i am going to have to say. The only way i wont is if i am asked to start the week after my 12 week scan. Then i can get away with it a bit longer. Anything that would be earlier or a lot later (can take up to 6 months!!) I will just say i found out after my interview today, will it be a problem. If yes... probably not a fantastic company... but will take the choice away from me anyway. However i would love to get the job to make things a lot easier for our family! Wont hear back til 31st so can chill anyway til then! 12 days will hopefully fly over!! X
