So heres a thread. Hope you all find it!

Congrats we've made it this far Wine

My worry at 5 weeks is I just feel apathetic and numb. Not excited, not looking forward. Not even fear. Just.... nothing. Constant knicker watch.

Plus wondering whether to push for an early scan and if so when? Losses were 9 and 11 weeks.

chasing hope they call you back soon. Horrible waiting.

greedy I think I would be tempted to book the teaching hospital if I were you, for peace of mind rather than anything, as long as you don't feel it's too far away.

I've just had a call from the EPU. They want me to come in for a scan on Thursday. I feel like they won't be able to see anything as it will be far far too early but they were adamant for me to come in, given I'm not 100% sure on dates I am but my GP wouldn't listen to me and given my previous MC. I'm surprised I'm being called in but trying to tell myself it's a good thing. Aaaaaargh I was worrying about not being given an early scan and now I am, I'm worrying even more. Sad DH is desperately trying to get the time off work as he doesn't want me to go alone, bless him.

fififolle · 10/03/2015 17:40

Superb news North

Amyyy27 · 10/03/2015 17:58

genni bless you im not sure what exactly they will be able to see, i would be tempted to google other scan pics at that date will probably go and google that myself now!

Glad you have a lovely supportive DH. I hope he gets the time off for you!

chasingtherainbow · 10/03/2015 17:59

Greedy I'd get in to the teaching hospital too. Trust is so important and you've none with your local..x

Mw called (been waiting all day and she calls when I'm bathing the kids!) They want me in for a scan.

I've found work really really hard the last 2 days and now I'm sat down post bath time I can feel the blood rushing feeling in my uterus that I felt last time I mc. Freaking the fuck out.

gennibugs · 10/03/2015 18:05

I've changed my mind. I'm going to ring tomorrow, pretend I can't make it and change it for next week or the week after. They won't be able to see anything and it will freak me out big time. I'm already feeling so anxious about it and my tummy is cramping from what I'm hoping is nerves. So I don't want to go. I was so shocked when they phoned that I just said yes without thinking about it!

officelady · 10/03/2015 19:12

Evening everyone. I am not feeling at all confident today. Did another preg test this morning and although my line is darker than the last one I did on Sunday, there wasn't much difference. And then to cap it off, I had blood when I wiped after going to the toilet - only a small amount but it was bright red so must be fresh blood. It reminded me of last year with my mmc, I had a tiny amount of red spotting at 5 weeks, the doc said it was nothing to worry about but when I went for my scan at 11 weeks they found the baby stopped developing at 5 weeks. So now of course I have the Feeling of Doom. And I have had cramps on and off since the weekend too. It's far too early for a scan or anything, by my reckoning I'm only 4+3, but I wish I knew for sure one way or the other what was happening in there!

Glad to read that there has been good scan news on here from you northdownmummy - you must be really chuffed Grin

Amyyy27 · 10/03/2015 19:49

chasing hope you are ok Flowers try not to panic. Have they booked the scan do you have a date?

genni tummy cramps are totally normal with everything moving around and changing so try not to worry too much. How far are you? Hope you get somrthing sorted that you feel comfortable with!

Office hope you are ok and that spotting isn't a bad sign Flowers have you/are you going to contact gp? Thinking of you x

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 10/03/2015 21:11

Still no more spotting here. I'm fed up of expecting to see bright red every time I go to the loo. My bright red spot of blood was at 9 weeks with my mmc.

officelady · 11/03/2015 06:51

Are you still planning on doing a digi test guybrush? I am going to get a couple of clearblue digi tests today and do them a week apart to see if hormones look like they are going up or down. Also I haven't done a "proper" test yet, only internet cheapies, so I feel deserve to waste spend some money on proper tests Wink

No more spotting here either but having been through a mmc before, I know it doesn't necessarily mean anything good or bad. I hate this endless wait! People on the ttc boards talk all the time about the two week wait. Sod that - this is the 12 week wait and it is a proper mindfuck. Pardon my french Blush

Amyyy27 · 11/03/2015 07:16

Thinking of you both! I have everything crossed xx

chasingtherainbow · 11/03/2015 07:51

Office lady, because hcg levels vary so much within a normal range using digis could really stress you out. If you are worried get yourself in for bloods xxx

gennibugs · 11/03/2015 09:33

officelady totally agree re the 12 week wait. It's awful. Angry

I've just come off the phone to the epu. They agreed to move my scan to 27th. By my calculations I should be 6 +6 by then. I feel a lot better. The nurse I spoke to was lovely and agreed that going this week would be too early and would likely stress me out.

Amyyy27 · 11/03/2015 09:55

genni I'm so pleased you got a better date sorted! And that's only 2 weeks away, hopefully it won't drag too much! x

gennibugs · 11/03/2015 10:21

Thanks Amyyy. Just hoping I get that far..

Is anyone else suffering nausea and tiredness? I honestly just wanted to stay in bed this morning. I feel permanently sea sick.

Amyyy27 · 11/03/2015 11:15

I wish I had sickness :( it seems to have just vanished all of a sudden. Trying desperately not to panic about that! I am extremely tired all of the time though. Like really... my eyes are constantly droopy and I have been getting into bed around 9! And the dry throat/unrelenting thirst is still here!

chasingtherainbow · 11/03/2015 11:26

Genni that's fab. I hope they are as accommodating for me!

Amyy don't worry .. The nausea at this stage tends to be more worry and excitment/nerves. Proper MS tends to kick in around week 8 most commonly. . Obviously it's different for all.... having suffered though I'd say be grateful rather than worried Grin

chasingtherainbow · 11/03/2015 11:28

FYI. . Boots have 3 for two on all vits! So I got my seven seas.

Almost bought frers. . I want to see that really strong line but also think it's a waste of money and terrified it might dissappear!

Amyyy27 · 11/03/2015 11:50

Thanks Chasing! I had severe morning sickness start at around 6 weeks last time and I thought it was the end of the world lol... so I am probably being impatient as per usual it just felt strange that I had felt so sick just after Ov for a good week or so and then... nothing! a little queasy early mornings but that's pretty normal for me when I try and eat anything before 9.

I hate admitting this as I am trying not to think bad thoughts however I think the worry is because I had MS from 6-10 weeks, 2 days before we found out about mmc at 10 weeks the MS just stopped completely. I can remember the day vividly being in Mothercare and laughing with OH that thankfully it had stopped. Hey ho... I can only let nature take its course and be grateful for what I have and of course "Today, I am Pregnant" :)

and step away from the frers!! Grin don't torture yourself lovely! I agree its a waste of money but totally understand about wanting a darker line!

chasingtherainbow · 11/03/2015 12:17

Oh Amyy. That's really hard. I keep comparing it to the last pregnancy and my daughters. I wish we had a little window to our uterus to check on it daily lol!

I lost 3 lbs this week so that's a stone off for me. Hoping to stick to sw aslong as I don't have ms!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 11/03/2015 12:25

My ms with dd stated about 6 weeks and was gone by 10- same as with my mc, so I guess it doesn't mean anything. I have been having nausea since 3dpo and still getting it when I haven't eaten for a bit.
I feel like a fraud even being in this group when I feel so unsure that the pregnancy is going to continue. Sad Do you really think it could be ok after seeing a bit of brown spotting at 4 weeks? I just never had anything like that with my first pregnancy.
Poor MrsC on the other thread. What a lot she has been through.

chasingtherainbow · 11/03/2015 12:41

Oh guy.. I really think although vvvv scary and nerve wracking you absolutely deserve to be here. I understand spotting in early pregnancy to be really common. Flowers I can only imagine how worrying it is on top of all the worries that come post mc anyways.

X

Amyyy27 · 11/03/2015 13:19

Chasing I would love one of those windows!!

Guy I don't know if this is helpful or not but I had a quick read through the beginning pages of My Pregnancy 2015, and it states about women bleeding either just before or when they are due their period due to hormones, as something not to worry about. Bleeding any time after AF is due is something that should be noted with GP. Am I right in thinking you spotting started about when AF was due? I honestly think that you will be fine. Obviously I'm not a Dr so won't guarantee anything but I do have a good feeling for you!

Oh she has bless her and she has been so amazing and brave she is a total inspiration! SO sad things like this happen to lovely people :( Not that I would wish it upon anyone but ykwim.

And you are certainly not a fraud!! You definitely belong here!! Flowers

Well I used to suffer from panic attacks (I'm a very nervy person!) and haven't had one since just after mc... I stopped medication when finding out I was pregnant last time and never went back on them. I have had quite a bad one on my lunch break and don't know whether it is worth seeing my GP in case these will start back up again... or whether it was a one off and should just wait and see... they can't do anything yet regarding the baby and I want to avoid medication where I can. Has anyone got any experiences of panic attacks during pregnancy?

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 11/03/2015 13:33

Yes, it was on exactly the day that af was due. Argh. Fingers crossed.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 11/03/2015 13:34

Sorry about your panic attack Amy. I've had one in my life and it was horrible. Maybe worth noting with GP?

chasingtherainbow · 11/03/2015 13:52

I'm feeling positive for you guy x

Amyy I suffered from panic attacks before dd. Mine have stopped since I've had her. Before I couldn't control them.. but once I had her I was so aware that I needed to stay together because I had someone I was soley responsible for. It's not always been easy, but I'm amazed the affect she had on me. I just wanted to tell you that.. I hope once this baby Is in your arms, you find the same for yourself. Panic attacks are horrific x
