Oh bollocks. Can you see a line?

Tell me this is some sort of false shit line please? I have been having regular periods, my last was around the 11th, but I've been slowly putting on weight around my stomach but I thought it must be because of christmas binging.

Anyway on Friday night I had a horrific pain in my stomach and it's all massive and bloated, I posted here about it and people asked if it was possible I could be pregnant and I said no.

I went to the emergency doctor who also asked this and I said no. I'm on the mini pill but do throw up a lot, but we don't DTD that often and we haven't been caught in over 3 years of being together so I just thought it must be fine.

But being a paranoid human I went and bought a cheap test from savers today 'clear and simple' and have just taken the test and thought it was fine but I looked closer and I saw this faint line. It appeared after 2 minutes.

It's very faint. Tell me theres other explanations for this? Please?

Oh I see, so you must be like 4 weeks pregnant? What are they doing about you collapsing and the pain? Are you staying in?

Hurr1cane · 26/01/2015 17:00

They wanted me to stay in. I've come home. I'm going back in on Wednesday. There's nothing they can do till then anyway.

Bloody hell OP. If you are bleeding internally they would see it on a scan. Did they do an internal?

I was told the exact same thing. Sent home and then blue lighted in the middle of the night with a ruptured ectopic. I had emergency surgery, lost the tube and needed a transfusion.

I'm not trying to scare you but ectopic is so dangerous I would rather you be safe than sorry.

Good luck for the rest of the week. It's all a bit rubbish that you have to wait so long to know what is happening. Flowers

PlumpingUpPartridge · 26/01/2015 17:01

I see now. I hope that you get some strong painkillers and that your DP steps up to help with your DS at home while you're waiting for news (and indeed afterwards) Thanks

Number3cometome · 26/01/2015 17:01

I don't think you should have gone home, as you collapsed something is certainly not right? How's the pain?

Hurr1cane · 26/01/2015 17:06

If I stay in, they'll check on me every hour. If I come home, DP will be with me 24/7 and will be able to get me to hospital in 5 minutes

I hope it isn't. I hope it's fine. I don't want anything bad to happen to it.

Please try to take it easy and make sure DP steps up.

Of course he will he's lovely. He said he doesn't have to go to work all week. For him no work means no money.

magimedi · 26/01/2015 17:17

Your DP sounds like a star. Keep warm & safe.

ILiveOnABuildsite · 26/01/2015 17:27

Look after yourself Hurricane, I have my fingers crossed for you. Remember whatever happens it wasn't your fault and you did nothing wrong, sometimes it's just one of those things. Let your do look after you, clearly he loves you very much and he's being so supportive.

Hurr1cane · 26/01/2015 17:29

I didn't even want a baby. Now I really really do. I feel like I've found out, come to terms with it, and had it snatched away from me all in one day.

flanjabelle · 26/01/2015 17:56

You poor thing hurricane. Fingers crossed for you x

Northernexile · 26/01/2015 17:57

Hope you are ok op. I had something similar early on in my first pregnancy, excruciating pain on one side that left me vomiting and unable to walk. GP thought it could be ectopic, had a scan at EPU and all was ok. It turned out my appendix was 'grumbling', but it settled down and hasn't bothered me since. I hope it's maybe something like that for you.

fattymcfatfat · 26/01/2015 18:11

Hope everything is okay and nothing is wrong. Fingers crossed for you and it sounds like you have a fab dp. X

HollyJollyDillydolly · 26/01/2015 18:13

What a whirlwind of emotions in one day. All the best for the next scan - I remember your missing kittens thread too.

girliefriend · 26/01/2015 18:14

Hope you are o.kay op, ectopics are just awful Sad my sil had one and she said exactly the same as you that it felt like she was given something only for it to be snatched away.

Could it be something else do you think?
