Tell me this is some sort of false shit line please? I have been having regular periods, my last was around the 11th, but I've been slowly putting on weight around my stomach but I thought it must be because of christmas binging.

Anyway on Friday night I had a horrific pain in my stomach and it's all massive and bloated, I posted here about it and people asked if it was possible I could be pregnant and I said no.

I went to the emergency doctor who also asked this and I said no. I'm on the mini pill but do throw up a lot, but we don't DTD that often and we haven't been caught in over 3 years of being together so I just thought it must be fine.

But being a paranoid human I went and bought a cheap test from savers today 'clear and simple' and have just taken the test and thought it was fine but I looked closer and I saw this faint line. It appeared after 2 minutes.

It's very faint. Tell me theres other explanations for this? Please?

Oh bollocks. Can you see a line?

Yeah the pain is fading. I took another test today and no line at all. It's gone. No bleeding though.

Thanks. Still not 'happened' yet and still no sign of any Letter or phone call about any scan Confused

Hurr1cane - it is most probable that the bleeding that who had that you thought was your period on the 11th, was actually the miscarriage itself. It can take a while afterwards for the hcg levels to go down, the fact that you have a negative test now, suggests that it is over.

The scan would be to confirm that it is complete, but generally a negative test is considered sufficient to confirm this is the case.

Following a miscarriage, it is common that your next period to be delayed.

Take care of yourself, I hope you are managing to get some rest?

Hurr1cane · 04/02/2015 20:13

I'm bleeding now as well though and it hurts

The hospital have just rang and asked why I haven't been in for my blood test today. I didn't even know I needed one! And then she said depending on my levels I might not even need a scan but she is worried about the bleeding and pain so she wants me to come back in tomorrow after dropping DS at school to have another blood test and talk to a nurse and see if they want a doctor to see me :/

Hurr1cane, Flowers sounds like the hospital are completely disorganised. I hope you can get some more answers tomorrow. Take painkillers, a hot water bottle can help too. If it gets really bad, get back to the hospital.

Thinking of you Flowers

Hurr1cane · 04/02/2015 20:28

Thanks fuckyouchris Smile

I tried the hot water bottle the other night and fell asleep with it on me and managed to give myself blisters all over my arm including a massive one right on the end of my elbow ShockConfused

I don't think hot water bottles are made for the obscenely clumsy.

That sounds a bit too hot Shock ouch.

Maybe a warm water bottle would be safer.

I hope you're able to curl up and dp can look after you.

Hurr1cane · 05/02/2015 12:03

Out now. They didn't get the blood test results back while I was there but got a negative dip test so they said it's happening now and the pain can be normal. What they did say is that I have a bacterial imbalance probably caused by a lack of iron in my diet which can cause miscarriage so I've got some tablets and some iron tablets as well. I feel so guilty that I've caused this with my crap diet (vegetarian but as DS eats meat I don't tend to look after my own diet very well and just eat when I'm hungry and not very much/ not much good stuff)

Hurr1cane, please don't blame yourself. You haven't caused this. They're just covering all the bases with regards to your health. this really isn't your fault Flowers

flippyflapper · 05/02/2015 15:25

Please don't blame your self. Being low in iron isn't your fault and the nurse should not if suggest it a reason.

My body is constantly low in iron Ibe had to have transfusion's .. and had healthy pregnancies. None of this is your fault at all.

babymouse · 05/02/2015 17:18

Being vegetarian might not be the reason you are low on iron. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Hurr1cane · 05/02/2015 17:24

DP doesn't want children so I won't have any more. That was it.
