Tell me this is some sort of false shit line please? I have been having regular periods, my last was around the 11th, but I've been slowly putting on weight around my stomach but I thought it must be because of christmas binging.

Anyway on Friday night I had a horrific pain in my stomach and it's all massive and bloated, I posted here about it and people asked if it was possible I could be pregnant and I said no.

I went to the emergency doctor who also asked this and I said no. I'm on the mini pill but do throw up a lot, but we don't DTD that often and we haven't been caught in over 3 years of being together so I just thought it must be fine.

But being a paranoid human I went and bought a cheap test from savers today 'clear and simple' and have just taken the test and thought it was fine but I looked closer and I saw this faint line. It appeared after 2 minutes.

It's very faint. Tell me theres other explanations for this? Please?

Oh bollocks. Can you see a line?

I hope you both are okay op Thanks

GoldfishSpy · 26/01/2015 15:00

Dinosaur, at 12 week with my twins my tests got lighter and lighter, I guessed because of too much HCG. They were fine. Only cheapo Internet ones though...

ILiveOnABuildsite · 26/01/2015 15:16

Oh Hurricane have just seen your thread. I've lurked on your weekend one and hoped you were getting better. I hope your pain is lessening now that you have pain killers, good luck with your scan.

Thinking of you.

Also wanted to say, although may not be overly helpful at this particular moment, but a few years before having our daughter dh and I got caught unexpectedly and it really wasn't good timing or news for either of us. My dh thought it was worst for him because he didn't want any kids at all at that point whereas I had said I would like a child in the future so he assumed I was happy/okay with the accident. It really helped us both to help each other for him to understand that I wasn't happy about it either, that it was a shock and upsetting for both of us. I think it helped that he didn't feel isolated in his shock if that makes any sense at all. Not sure I'm explaining this well but I thought it might help you when you come to discuss it more with dp. That particular pregnancy wasn't viable and ended at 10 weeks but dh and I were slowly coming to terms with it by then, what really helped dh was knowing that we were both in the same boat.

Have you had your scan OP? Are you okay?

Number3cometome · 26/01/2015 15:28

Did you have your scan?

YvesJutteau · 26/01/2015 15:37

Oh, you're feral kitten chimney lady! Fingers crossed for you.

songbird85 · 26/01/2015 15:42

Just de-lurking to wish you well OP. A few medical things can cause a false positive and the symptoms you were having. Hope the scan and the gynae can give you some answers, fingers crossed for you.

ILiveOnABuildsite · 26/01/2015 15:44

Sit tight Hurricane it won't be long before you have your scan and get some answers. It'll give you something to focus on.

Holding your hand! Flowers

Keeping things crossed for you. Hope you are ok Hurr1cane.

Hurr1cane · 26/01/2015 16:39

They think it's eptopic but I'm not far enough pregnant for it to show on a scan so I have to wait 2 days and have another blood test as my HGC levels were 246, if they double in 2 days then it's a good sign but I have to wait for it to get to 1000 before I can be scanned

OP posts:
Number3cometome · 26/01/2015 16:39

So they did scan you but can't see anything?

PlumpingUpPartridge · 26/01/2015 16:44

Sorry, I don't understand. If they double in 2 days, does that mean you're pregnant with baby in uterus rather than ectopic?

By that maths, if they double in 2 days then you'll have to wait 4 days to be scanned again.

ILiveOnABuildsite · 26/01/2015 16:45

I don't really know what to say Hurricane I hope you are okay. How are you feeling. If it is indeed ectopic it's good that you did everything to get it found out sooner rather than later. Look after yourself.

Hurr1cane · 26/01/2015 16:51

They didn't scan it would be too small to see apparently

If it doubles in 2 days then it is a good sign that it is in the uterus.

If it doesn't double then it looks like an unhealthy pregnancy and in the tubes.

If it doubles as hoped, I could be scanned friday.

5madthings · 26/01/2015 16:56

Oh bloody hell, so you are still in limbo.

Well I hope you get the result you want on Friday and it's good you have been seen and they can moniter closely.
