Tell me this is some sort of false shit line please? I have been having regular periods, my last was around the 11th, but I've been slowly putting on weight around my stomach but I thought it must be because of christmas binging.

Anyway on Friday night I had a horrific pain in my stomach and it's all massive and bloated, I posted here about it and people asked if it was possible I could be pregnant and I said no.

I went to the emergency doctor who also asked this and I said no. I'm on the mini pill but do throw up a lot, but we don't DTD that often and we haven't been caught in over 3 years of being together so I just thought it must be fine.

But being a paranoid human I went and bought a cheap test from savers today 'clear and simple' and have just taken the test and thought it was fine but I looked closer and I saw this faint line. It appeared after 2 minutes.

It's very faint. Tell me theres other explanations for this? Please?

Oh bollocks. Can you see a line?

I'm so sorry for your loss. Flowers

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 29/01/2015 08:37

I'm not sure what your levels would be if it had been. But please do ask a HCP what to expect if you're worried.

Pressing a flower is a really lovely idea. I hope you're able to take it easy this week. It sounds like you are surrounded by people who care, make sure you lean on them as much as you need to.

Hurr1cane · 29/01/2015 09:00

I think I will when they send me a letter for my scan. For now I'm just going to focus on DS

Just read this thread and wanted to say I'm so sorry for you OP. Your story is similar to mine... Fell pregnant unexpectedly, wasn't sure what to think at first and then got used to it and excited.... Only to end up in pain and on morphine with expected ectopic. I ended up waiting for HCG level results and miscarried 3/4 days later. It's a very very sad time I know. If you are like me you will bleed and mine was very painful but probably more so because of my endometriosis. I didn't have a scan afterwards but they did do a pregnancy test and take bloods to check my HCG levels were gone about 2-3 weeks afterwards. Be kind to yourself..... It gets easier over time I promise. Pressing that rose sounds like a lovely idea. Sending you a big hug OP.

So sorry Hurr1cane, that is very sad news. Be gentle with yourself Flowers

Clarabumps · 29/01/2015 10:11

Just read this whole thread. I remember you from the kittens up the chimney thread. I'm so sorry Hurricane. It's so very sad. I really wanted a happy outcome.

Look after yourself. xxxxxx

I've no idea if that's normal; just bumping in case someone else does know.

As you did not have sickness before your loss and your hormone levels have reduced I would assume that this issue is to do with the stomach acid issues you mentioned earlier and not morning sickness - that is related to hormone levels. I would see your GP and get some omeprazole to settle your stomach as it can get painful and is horrid.

Take care OP

Delurking to say sorry for your loss and hope you're ok today Flowers

Hurr1cane · 30/01/2015 10:40

Thanks. I'm usually sick but I don't usually feel sick if you see what I mean.

It's just normally, I eat, my stomach thinks "nah don't want this" and then I sit and try not to be sick or I go and throw up.

This feels like how I get when I'm car sick. Like my head feels like it's vaping a car floor mat or something.

Number3cometome · 30/01/2015 10:43

Do you mean you are usually sick when not pregnant?

I would see your GP, probably excess stomach acid.

Hurr1cane · 30/01/2015 10:46

Yeah usually but just not like this. Now I feel sick but I don't usually feel sick. The normal being sick is thanks to some lesions left from the emergency section I had with DS that went a bit wrong, which might have something to do with all this actually I'll have to ask, I never bothered asking before because I wasn't planning another.

I'm not explaining it well...

I feel car sick, although it has got a bit better today. DP has fallen asleep so I'm sneaking off to do a bit of cleaning because he's been amazing but he's shit at it.

OP posts:
Hurr1cane · 30/01/2015 10:52

I'll go to the GP Monday if it hasn't got better by then. DS goes to his dad's tonight and then he goes out with his PA for a couple of hours on Sunday so I have loads of time to rest and sort my head out then.

DP is back to work Sunday, he can't afford any more time off because it's all unpaid for him.

Number3cometome · 30/01/2015 11:15

Defo book an appointment with the Doc. It may well be stress related also.

Hurr1cane · 30/01/2015 11:17

It could be stress yeah. A woman who runs a local support group voluntarily with me has just announced her pregnancy today. But I messaged her and the two other ladies that run it to tell them about my miscarriage and that I wouldn't be able to run the group next week, now I feel horrible like I've taken the shine off it for her.

OP posts:
Number3cometome · 30/01/2015 11:38

Ahh don't worry, she will understand. I guess it is better she knows and can tread more carefully.

Hurr1cane · 30/01/2015 12:46

I NEED to stop googling stories about people's who's HCG levels went down but went on to carry full term. I really do. It isn't helpful.

OP posts:
Number3cometome · 30/01/2015 14:00

I think you should contact your GP on Monday and get some advice.

What did the nurse say would happen last week?

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 30/01/2015 14:03

Hurr1cane, it's completely normal (I'm sure I did) but it doesn't help :(

I don't know about the sickness, but do keep an eye on yourself, if you get a temperature or any other symptoms, see a gp, just in case you've got an infection.

Hurr1cane · 30/01/2015 15:40

She didn't really say anything she just said "it's ok your levels are 74 so it's classed as a miscarriage" then said something about needing a scan at some point.

I'll call the GP Monday Smile thanks everyone.

OP posts:
Hurr1cane · 30/01/2015 15:41

Also, I heard about the infection risk, on Saturday when they thought I had a bad infection they gave me antibiotics, so I've just continued taking them so hopefully I shouldn't get an infection.

OP posts:
Number3cometome · 30/01/2015 16:16

Fingers crossed OP. Hopefully they will send you a letter?

I'd certainly discuss further with your GP as to what your next steps are, hopefully they will be more of a comfort and sympathetic.
