Tell me this is some sort of false shit line please? I have been having regular periods, my last was around the 11th, but I've been slowly putting on weight around my stomach but I thought it must be because of christmas binging.

Anyway on Friday night I had a horrific pain in my stomach and it's all massive and bloated, I posted here about it and people asked if it was possible I could be pregnant and I said no.

I went to the emergency doctor who also asked this and I said no. I'm on the mini pill but do throw up a lot, but we don't DTD that often and we haven't been caught in over 3 years of being together so I just thought it must be fine.

But being a paranoid human I went and bought a cheap test from savers today 'clear and simple' and have just taken the test and thought it was fine but I looked closer and I saw this faint line. It appeared after 2 minutes.

It's very faint. Tell me theres other explanations for this? Please?

All you said was that you didn't want one for yourself, op. Everybody should be able to process that

FWIW, I agree with you - pro-choice, which means I can terminate if I want or be pregnant if I want.

for you. It must be a massive shock. Your tummy is quite round but I looked like that very early on in my second pregnancy (about 6 weeks) but it went down again at about 9 weeks and then got proper bump around 14 weeks.
But you could be further along than you think as others have said you don't have periods with the pill they are withdrawal bleeds so you could be anywhere in your pregnancy. You need a scan ASAP.

Don't beat yourself up about the drinking you didn't know you were pregnant. Also no one is going to think you are dismissive of abortions in gerneral just that you don't want to terminate this pregnancy.

Good grief, Hurricane, there's no wonder you've been feeling ill!

If it makes you feel better, I worked with 2 women who, at a round the same time, discovered they were 5 and 7 months pregnant. Both had gone to the hospital with tummy aces and bloating!

I bled monthly in my first pregnancy until 24 weeks. I wasn't taking hormonal contraceptives, though. Agree that you need a scan ASAP!

I wouldn't take the stomach as too much of an indication as to how pregnant you are - I was bigger than that at 8 weeks gone and now at 15 weeks look massive compared to my other pregnant friends.

Honestly it can just be bloating early on, especially with a very faint line on a test.

Get the scan for reassurance x

I passed out and then came to writhing in pain while in the waiting room earlier. The next thing I knew my shoulders were being frozen from the inside and they said they were giving me strong pain killers. Then they took my wee pot and said I was pregnant and said to wait for a scan. I've asked if the baby is ok and they said they don't know. I've asked if I've damaged it and they said to stop panicking. Now I need a wee.

You will probably need a full bladder for the ultrasound.

Then you will have to empty it if they have to do an internal scan.

Try to hold on

I'd have thought after your display in the waiting room, they will scan you fairly fast

Gosh you poor thing. If it helps in any way I always understood pregnancy tests don't work in late pregnancy- I thought they were able to pick up hormones after about 16 weeks as it was just too much?
