Tell me this is some sort of false shit line please? I have been having regular periods, my last was around the 11th, but I've been slowly putting on weight around my stomach but I thought it must be because of christmas binging.

Anyway on Friday night I had a horrific pain in my stomach and it's all massive and bloated, I posted here about it and people asked if it was possible I could be pregnant and I said no.

I went to the emergency doctor who also asked this and I said no. I'm on the mini pill but do throw up a lot, but we don't DTD that often and we haven't been caught in over 3 years of being together so I just thought it must be fine.

But being a paranoid human I went and bought a cheap test from savers today 'clear and simple' and have just taken the test and thought it was fine but I looked closer and I saw this faint line. It appeared after 2 minutes.

It's very faint. Tell me theres other explanations for this? Please?

Oh bollocks. Can you see a line?

Good luck at the hospital xx

5madthings · 26/01/2015 11:13

Good luck lovely.

StripeyCustard · 26/01/2015 11:15

Good luck Hurr1cane - surely your stomach hasn't gone from flat to looking like that in a week?

AppleYumYum · 26/01/2015 11:19

TSSDNCOP you are making me laugh! Grin

Specificity · 26/01/2015 11:20

Gosh. You aren't 9 months are you, not realised and in labour?! Stranger things have happened.

Hurr1cane · 26/01/2015 11:20

Oh I know they are shouting for my own good. I need a good kick up the arse when it comes to my own health trust me.

OP posts:
Hurr1cane · 26/01/2015 11:21

No not in a week stripey. Other the month. I haven't been eating more than usual but I have been drinking a bit so I thought it must be that.

Hurr1cane · 26/01/2015 11:23

Specify I bloody well hope I'm not 9 months! Surely it would be a darker line if I was?

OP I've been lurking on your other thread. So sorry you're going through this. Don't worry about anything beyond today right now. Speak to the GP, sort out what's going on. When everything's settled you can think about the future.

Good luck Flowers

5madthings · 26/01/2015 11:33

If I was to guess I would say a 16-20 wk bump? Maybe a but layer, that's when mine popped out.

If you lie down flat can you feel your tummy and see if you can feel the top of your uterus?

Hope you don't have too long a wait at hospital xxx

Hurr1cane · 26/01/2015 11:35

I can't lie down flat in the A&E waiting room Grin although it would amuse me seeing people's faces.

Lol, hope you are seen asap, glad you are,at hospital.

StaircaseAtTheUniversity · 26/01/2015 11:36

A girl in my NCT group had this happen, down to the shoulder pain, bloating etc and had a positive test. Went for a dating scan and was 33 weeks. She was on the pill and hadn't missed a period. Three weeks later we met her at our classes! Stranger things have happened than that you are much further along than you think so you need scanning!

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 26/01/2015 11:40

Gosh if you are further along then hcg levels change and can be difficult to detect on a standard pregnancy test.

AnnieLobeseder · 26/01/2015 11:40

OP, if you are pregnant, please don't panic about what you did over Christmas. At the every early stage the embryo is still making its way down the fallopian tubes and hasn't implanted in the uterus yet, and is not receiving any nutrition directly from you. There have been millions of unexpected pregnancies where mothers drank and worse before they knew they were pregnant. And loads of pregnancies where mothers continued to drink (and worse) but the baby was fine.

DD1 wasn't planned, I drank like a fish over Christmas and then had a final "last chance to go crazy before I have kids" new year which involved a very creative cocktail of drink and drugs. I found out 4 days later that I was pregnant with DD1. She's absolutely fine.

Good luck!

Hurr1cane · 26/01/2015 12:11

Oh shit. I've just realised that I was really strongly dismissive about abortions before Sad I hope I've not upset anyone. I am pro choice, 100%. It's just something I couldn't personally do. Blush I'm sorry I am just in a state of panic and not thinking before I type like I normally do.

I'd go and get a clear blue with weeks indicator, that will give you an idea of how far you are.

Did you take a pill today?

MrsCK · 26/01/2015 12:28

Hope your trip to a and e was ok x
