Calling all September mums to be!

Hi ladies, not sure if there is already a post for this, but thought it'd be nice to have a spot for all September due dates to keep each other company through the last slog! I'm due September 15th (36 weeks & 6 days). I've had a few scares that this lil one may arrive early! and then there are the other times trying to gear myself up for the long wait. This is DC2, my first one was 8 days over the DD. I'm tired, in pain, have an itchy belly, and am ready to be done being pregnant ... But we're almost there!!

I've been feeling ill all day ... blah, then a few minutes ago I saw someone cooking & tasting sausages on TV and needed wanted one. My DH went out and bought some for me and is now cooking them up - what a gem ... only problem is I'm not feeling like them so much anymore - he's gonna be so pleased with me

Congrats to those who have had their babies! My due date has come and almost gone, so now overdue! Plan to book reflexology tomorrow, fingers and toes crossed this might work... feeling extremely large and fed up!

Hello everyone

Congratulations to everyone who has had their babies - I will see you all over on the postnatal thread shortly.....

...today in fact! Our daughter Georgia was born via EMCS (still breech) at 12:45am on Sunday 7th September.

Still a little surprised. Went in as baby was quiet and was having painful "Braxton Hicks", got monitored and Reg asked if we wanted to stay there or go home and wait after telling us i was 2cm dilated. Asked to go home and then she back tracked and said she wanted to monitor us for another 2 hours but if nothing was happening after that she would discharge and left to get me some pain relief.

DH left to get a sandwich. Less than a minute later the midwife came in and said we were next in theatre and it was time to get prepared for surgery as we would be in within the next half hour!!!! Queue the room filling with people and DH walking in with a look of shock on his face!

Will type up the full story later on but that's the gist of it xxx

Just wanted to update....

Beautiful baby girl born at 01:50 this morning weighing in at 9lb11oz! So excited I can't sleep, poor DH is asleep in the chair! I feel like I'm on a complete high!

Decided to go for induction at 40 weeks as baby was measuring big. After the second pessary was put in at 6pm contractions started straight away but bearable (started G&A at 11:30pm). At midnight I was 3cm so they broke my waters and DD arrived 1 hour 45 mins later!!

Hope more of these September babies have arrived and the ones that haven't arrive soon!

Our little boy arrived on the 11th at home just before I was about to go in for an induction! He was 11 days overdue so I am so happy he finally made it. My labour was less than an hour which was excellent. We are working on breastfeeding now which is going well and I'm very much in love!!!

Congrats imisssleep!! Lovely to hear of a nice quick labour and that you are doing well.

I'm with you thefroglet ... Due today and just feeling like I'm waiting around exhausted, bored and uncomfy! But it won't be too much longer now :)

Morning, I'm now eight days overdue with no signs of labour. Sigh. Midwife later to book induction, which will be just as much fun as it sounds. Congrats to those babies who have made it out!

Hi All, Alexander arrived on sept 11 weighing a whopping 10lbs! Had a complete drama with failed induction and emergency c sec.... Experiencing sleep deprivation at new levels! Hope everyone is keeping well x

Congrats twizzletoes!!

Our lil man Luke made his appearance last night (17th) 7.5lbs - tens machine, G&A and birthing pool to labour in, but was hauled out asked to get out to check on baby right before the finale.

Hang in there those still waiting it'll be your turn before you know it!

Hi all just a quick update while I have a few minutes peace.

DD arrived at 7.49 on Saturday 13th September. Still feeling shell shocked !!!
