Hi ladies, not sure if there is already a post for this, but thought it'd be nice to have a spot for all September due dates to keep each other company through the last slog! I'm due September 15th (36 weeks & 6 days). I've had a few scares that this lil one may arrive early! and then there are the other times trying to gear myself up for the long wait. This is DC2, my first one was 8 days over the DD. I'm tired, in pain, have an itchy belly, and am ready to be done being pregnant ... But we're almost there!!

Can I join you please ladies? I'm due 14th Sept with DC2. Have a DS and no idea what this little one is!

Off for my second session of reflexology later today. I'm so uncomfortable and today I feel really sick, quite happy for this to be over but then thinking it's likely to be my last baby so should try and enjoy it!

allisgood1 · 27/08/2014 19:08

Hi ladies. Just to say Tristan Peter Preston was born today at 12:55pm after a very fast labour. We are back home now and all is well. Love my baby boy SmileSmileSmileSmile

dreamingofwineandcheese · 27/08/2014 21:01

Congratulations that's lovely news Thanks

Eatscones · 27/08/2014 21:38

Wow! Congrats allisgood1, that is fantastic!! Quick labour and already home... I'm hoping I can report a similar story before too much longer Smile enjoy your lil man. Thanks for updating us.

dreamingof I've been sick and just generally off today too. How do you find your reflexology sessions? I've never tried it before. Kind of late now though! I think I'd be just fine with my lil one coming anytime now.

dreamingofwineandcheese · 27/08/2014 22:37

That's how I have been feeling today Eatscones. Also generally twingey and niggly. I mentioned it to the reflexologist and she said it's all good signs.

The session tonight was lovely and baby was going mad which apparently shows there is a connection between what the reflexologist was doing and the baby. I know it sounds a bit hippy-ish but I do believe it! DH has been saying for years I'm an undercover hippy, apparently this proves it Wink.

Salene · 27/08/2014 22:50

I'm due on 24th with a boy and he will be my first

Can't come soon enough

Rubyshoe · 28/08/2014 04:21

Congrats Allisgood saw your other thread and sounds like you have set the bar for the rest of us on how it should be done!

AFM I'm not hopeful it's going to be that quick. We are due for induction on the 13th at 38 weeks but scams this week and last week have shown reduced amount of fluid so depending on scan next weeks they may bring induction forward to 37 weeks. Have a suspicion either way that we may be catching this baby by surprise when they are really not expecting to come out yet! I've definitely got a date with a birthing ball and some decent walks over the next few days!

HerVagesty · 28/08/2014 11:34

Hello all. May I join you? I tried the other thread too but my post got lost in the business of it all...

I am booked for a c-section on 24th Sept as little lady is breech. Will be 39+4 then but really hoping they will bring it forward or I will go into labour earlier, although that's doubtful as DS was a week late. Sounds selfish to say I want my body back but would be really nice to be able to stand up and walk to the kitchen without severe pain!

Good luck ladies who are due or being induced next week! You're nearly there!

Tristan and I are well. Had our 3 day check today and all good (despite the fact that I'm evidently "quite bruised" down there). Tristan has only dropped from 3.7 to 3.5kg...he feeds like a champ now if only he would swap his longer stretches if sleep from day to night

Thinking of you all Smile

Miriama · 30/08/2014 16:47

Hi ladies, had a bit of a fall last night and ended up on labour ward for checking, all is ok, but baby not showing any signs of coming any time soon. Congrats allisgood, everyone else hang on in there!

nikkilove73 · 30/08/2014 18:39

Hi ladies,
My due date is September 27th!!!
Had a pretty straight forward pregnancy apart from bleeding in early days, had a growth scan last week were they advised baby was breech & my fluid levels were reading high! Had m/wife yesterday baby still breech so potentially getting c section this week ( if fluid is still reading high) baby is a healthy weight at 36 7lb 4oz so can't complain....
This is my 3 rd pregnancy but after a 18 year gap my 2 girls were both 10 pounders but easy labours so bit disappointing to be considered for a section
Xxx

Rubyshoe · 30/08/2014 19:32

Nikkilove our due dates are actually the same but the original plan for us was yo b induced at 38 weeks due to previous stillbirth. When will they give I a final decision? Do u feel ready as your date is being brought forward?

Miriama hope u r doing ok after your acrobatics!

Hervagesty completely know what u mean about wanting your body back. I feel do incredibly lucky to b pregnant but it's definitely not comfortable anymore!

AFM just waiting for our repeat scan on Tuesday for a decision on dates. DH has shampood all the carpets this week (he is on annual leave) as clearly the dust in them is a deadly force conspiring against bump!

Eatscones · 31/08/2014 02:26

Great news allisgood, it is nice to hear about healthy babies...though could do without the bruising bit! Haha. Maybe I'll just keep this munchkin in indefinitely ;) Glad you're doing okay after your fall Miriama! That is scary.

I was silly the other day and moved a heavy suitcase for a friend (I was alone and she needed her stuff - didn't think much of it till I was half way to the car and felt something give in my stomach) aggh talk about pain, paying for it today! But my DH was sweet and kept our toddler busy all day and brought me my heat pack and an ice cream so had 10 mins of bliss :) the simple things in life to enjoy!

Please can I join? Due sept 2 :-) eeeeek!

dreamingofwineandcheese · 31/08/2014 15:46

How is everyone today?

I'm fed up of heartburn and not sleeping very well. Plus my feet have now swollen up!

I had a lovely pedicure and facial on Friday, the dog had his haircut and DH has cleaned the car...come on baby we are ready for you!!

nikkilove73 · 31/08/2014 20:52

Hi Rubyshoe,
Sorry to hear about your previous experiences sounds as tho you are being monitored & well looked after ....
I go back this Thursday for a growth scan & to measure fluid & see if baby has turned if it the same there probably going to starts early next week c section.....

Am little gutted as I hear the recovery process is longer but kind of prepared for it & so ready for it now....

How are you feeling?

Xx

Mistyautumn · 01/09/2014 07:39

Can I join too. Due 17th.

But I am desperate to get this baby out now. She is supposed to be massive and I want to have a natural birth but if she gets too big it looks like they will try and get me in for a c section. I am spending all my time walking, bouncing on my ball and mainlining pineapple!!

dreamingofwineandcheese · 01/09/2014 07:59

Welcome Misty and Twizzle!

Misty I am in a similar situation, I have been having growth scans since 28 weeks as baby is measuring large. DS was 9lb9oz though and because I delivered him naturally they aren't too worried but would like to induce at 40 weeks if baby isn't here by then. I'm trying everything to get baby here on it's own!

Mistyautumn · 01/09/2014 08:18

Nothing like an added layer of pressure is there dreaming!!

I started as consultant led due to high bmi and have been told throughout that my chances of intervention are higher because of this. But it means that the hospital seem to be trying make that the case rather than looking at alternatives. Seems to annoy them when I get to appointments and my bp is fine, I am active, am doing things like daily walking and aqua natal, and generally in good health and pro an active labour!

Anyway - trying not to read too much into the fact that I have woken up with back ache and baby is moving tons today!!!

hmmmum · 01/09/2014 09:00

IT'S SEPTEMBER!! I'm due Sept 5th. I thought this month would never ever come. Although we are actually hoping the baby will be born a little late - just easier with my dh's work.
Here's to a pain free straightforward labour for everyone :)
This is my 2nd. First labour was long and miserable, hoping this will be short and sweet(er).

HerVagesty · 01/09/2014 10:40

nikkilove73 My actual due date is also the 27th - but had it confirmed today baby is breech and the c-section is going ahead on 24th unless she tried to come early!

My scan showed this morning that she had grown into the 50th centile so she is doing fine :) estimated weight of 6lb2oz and fluid levels are all fine. I ave a feeling she will be here before the week is out though as her bum is "engaged" and I'm getting some pains and discomfort in my cervix!

Hatetidyingthehouse · 01/09/2014 12:17

Was due 28th august so I've come to join in! Second baby. First was 3 days overdue so this ones looking later. In on my own with toddler at the minute. Bored and uncomfortable

FoodieMum3 · 01/09/2014 18:46

So glad that it's finally September Smile

I'm now 38 weeks and have a question for you...

baby does these big moves that really, really take my breath away. They are just so uncomfortable, I actually have to breathe through them. My whole bump goes rock hard and as well as the braxton hicks I can feel him kicking different organs and moving his head on my bladder.
I don't remember movements being this uncomfortable with my 2 dd's. I wonder if it means that he's big? Or just a big mover? Shock

Oh, and dh thinks I'm being a drama queen when I'm doing the breathing, but dear god it's uncomfortable. Mind you, he hasn't the nerve to say it but I know what he's thinking Hmm

Love to all the bumps xx
