mrsg my first sign of labour with dd was a cleaning frenzy when I hadn't done anything for months. Hopefully it will be a few more weeks yet for you but you're almost fully baked Smile

ilove and miss thinking of you both, waiting for scans esp after bleeding is so scary. I too felt like I knew it had all gone wrong but it hadn't, I just think that's my way of trying to cope with the worst, even though of course nothing really prepares you. Very much hoping for positive news for you both xxx

fedup only 8 more weeks wow, so exciting xxx

OneLittleToddleTerror · 10/08/2014 10:07

mrsg but you are a week from full term! We are going to have a lot of thread babies soon isn't it? It seems fedup and I are going to follow soon. I'm full term in 3 weeks (34 weeks now). I have to remind DH when he tried to put off assembling the cot for another week. I went into labour last time at 37+3 so I am thinking I will have another just full term one. It is not bad at all since at 37 you will be discharged immediately but you don't have suffer another month of being really big.

Babytinx11 · 10/08/2014 10:24

Feeling a bit more human today it's amazing how fast the anti biotics have helped even if they smell vile and the capsules have a funny taste which doesn't help with nausea. Just need positive news at my scan I'll be almost 11 weeks which will mean only a week between that and my 12 week app. Unfortunately no one scanning in epu till Tuesday so I have to wait till Tuesday :( but keep everything crossed that they were right and baby is fine.

How are you feeling today missmakes & ilove?

missmakesstuff · 10/08/2014 11:27

baby glad to hear you are starting to feel better. I've still had no more bleeding but brownish spotting overnight, tiny amounts but still a worry. Woke up feeling sick and last night my books were ridiculously painful! I poas that I had left over and it cam up strong positive, I know it doesn't mean anything really but I'm hopeful. Going to just wait it pit until I. Can get a scan, hoping to tell my parents today or tomorrow, although last time I told them to ask my mum to come to the scan, was horrible, hate having to do it again...

Good luck to all of youth nesting and impending edds, I had a c sect as dd was breech, would be nice to actually experience labour, as I have no idea what to expect the next time round...

GandTnow · 10/08/2014 12:54

Hello all, pretty much tolda everyone now - seemed most people has guessed as I'm huge! All starting to feel a bit real now. 13 weeks today!

baby I hope Tuesday comes quickly.
Miss Good news theres no more fresh bleeding. x

missmakesstuff · 10/08/2014 13:42

Obviously my books weren't painful!

Still feeling horribly sick, also phoned my mum to tell her, hated doing it with bad news again, but was positive about it.

Is anyone else finding their dc a complete pain at the moment? Dd (4) is clambering all over me, kicking, arguing about everything, she insists on sitting on me and squeezing or poking me, usually in the boobs and generally being annoying, can't work out what's going on.

ilovechops · 10/08/2014 13:50

Hi all,

baby glad you're starting to feel better! They've worked quickly at least but I can imagine taking them is no fun!!
I'm really sorry you have to wait until Tuesday but think it will be good news.

miss I'm glad there's not really been any more bleeding and that you're feeling sick! Are you going in tomorrow morning?

I am ok today. Actually last night from about 10pm I felt awful. Went to bed and took my B6 and fine again today but it have me hope. Possibly the sickest I've felt in fact but short lived. Today I feel ok really just tired but not sick. Boobs are massive. DH has just told me so ha ha also v painful so perhaps there's hope. I am telling myself it's a boy and that's why I feel ok.,you never know.

Advice wanted, at our EPU you can just self refer if you've had pain or bleeding. The pains I had yesterday have gone and I guess were never severe. I'm contemplating booking a private scan tomo but then thought if it is bad news if rather be at hospital. The thing is I am booked in next week at hospital anyway...I don't think I can stand the wait but should I just go up there tomo anyway or am I wasting resources? I don't know what to do for the best!

missmakesstuff · 10/08/2014 16:16

I would go, there's no point in worrying yourself, especially if you've had a mmc before.
I'm feeling more annoyed with myself that I didn't push the gp to refer me, just saw my mum and she made me feel more optimistic, but still goingv push for a referral tomorrow or at least at some point this week.

OneLittleToddleTerror · 10/08/2014 16:17

missmakestuff I found my 3yo a complete pain but i think it's because I feel so rubbish that I'm more impatient than normal. I assume you are probably the same. She is behaving just like a normal 4yo.

Cakebaker35 · 10/08/2014 17:31

ilove you're not wasting resources, epu is there to help people like us. Don't have a horrible stressy wait, go tomorrow and at least you'll know what's what xxx

missmakesstuff · 10/08/2014 17:34

Yep one you're probably right! She's being lovely now. Also, mummy lying around on the sofa groaning is never as much fun as going out to actually do stuff...

tannyLoo · 10/08/2014 18:34

Quick question... Anyone experienced yellow creamy cm? I've got some slight scratchy feelings, not cramps exactly, iykwim. Absolutely petrified that I'm going to lose it because I've relaxed a bit and told a couple of best friends. Fish slaps welcome...

InternetFOREVER · 10/08/2014 20:11

tanny I have! I think its because of the tonne of pregnancy vitamins I'm taking (they sometimes make your wee bright yellow too!) I've googled and can't see anything bad about yellow...

tannyLoo · 10/08/2014 20:37

Thanks internet, it's bonkers how quickly I can start to whittle!

fedupofrainydays · 10/08/2014 22:26

I have had very yellow cm tanny. Freaked me out too. Once it was almost greeny too but then went yellow and then white again. It wasn't an infection or anything sinister and still get yellow every now and again (still scares me).

ilovechops · 10/08/2014 22:40

Thanks miss and cake I'm gonna go up there tomorrow. I feel like a mad woman but I can't stop worrying. Feel fine again tonight and now have cramps again. Saying that one thing has crossed my mind of a UTI as feels a bit sore when I go to the loo (TMI) for a wee so possibly that's causing the pains. Anyway they will test that there so probs worth the trip. Not feeling hopeful really but you never know.

Boozle80 · 11/08/2014 08:51

Whoop, whoop! One healthy baby with one healthy heartbeat! Hopefully this is the first of many - I can happily say today I am pregnant!

Boozle80 · 11/08/2014 08:53

Love, Miss and Baby I'm keeping everything crossed for you, epu were lovely - they completely didn't mind me being a dribbling idiot - they'd much rather I went in then worried at home and I feel so much better for going.

ilovechops · 11/08/2014 08:56

Congrats boozle so happy for you! How far along are you did they say? Was that first scan for you?

I am at the EPU now waiting...and scared! It will be over soon though and I am glad I am here and not spending another day worrying at home! Thankfully it's not very busy here so I am not feeling too guilty for coming!

ilovechops · 11/08/2014 08:57

Good luck miss and baby

amicablemoomin · 11/08/2014 09:09

congrats boozle and good luck miss and baby

GandTnow · 11/08/2014 09:11

Great news Boozle! so exciting!

Good luck ilove, baby and miss. EPU should hopefully put your mind at rest.

squizita · 11/08/2014 09:33

Best of luck to I love, miss and baby! Fx for you all.

Glad to hear your good scan news boozle!

No news from me. Did the ante natal from the actual correct hospital over the weekend! Was pretty good. Told me how to book the MLU which is good as obvs my mW being local wouldn't know, so I can apparently get the paperwork done mlu end then pass to her/consultants for signing, which for my (unusual) set up seems best.

Babytinx11 · 11/08/2014 09:34

I won't see my epu till tomorrow :( feels like a long time other than when I have taken my anti b's my sickness is pretty much gone which I might be a timing thing because I take them as soon as I get up but it's making me worry noobs aren't as sore either :( I am probably worrying about nothing just hope my app is early tomorrow.

Good luck ilove and miss

ilovechops · 11/08/2014 10:02

Just back for EPU. All is well, baby is 7wk 4days, healthy heartbeat and all fine. Saw little arm buds even (altho blurred)! Feel a lot more relaxed for now!

baby i have next to no symptoms. I have tiredness and some nausea from around 8pm till bed but even that's often not really strong. Boobs however are massive. So I do think that perhaps we are just lucky not to be feeling dreadful?! Or it's the B6 helping, I don't dare stop taking it to test!!
