CallingAllEngels · 06/08/2014 11:12

Just catching up. Congratulations keeping and hope both you and your dd recover quickly.

19+3 and time is going s l o w l y !

Alb1 · 06/08/2014 11:35

Congratulations keeping! Must be scary for you but I'm glad your both doing well!

Nice to hear from you saggy

Feels like iv been waiting years to reach the top of that stats list, can't believe it's actually happened! Been having painful Braxton hicks and cramps but only at night time (been workin evening shifts n proly overdoing it slightly) so I'm guessing I'm a while off yet...

OneLittleToddleTerror · 06/08/2014 11:51

baby i like the idea of ben & jerry cookie dough ice-cream. I'm going to get a haircut this afternoon. Will pop into the supermarket and see if they are doing a deal on them.

Alb1 you are at the top now!

OneLittleToddleTerror · 06/08/2014 11:53

alb1 those braxton hicks really bothers me. I'm getting them in the evenings too. Nothing painful but that might just be like last time which I didn't have very painful or regular contractions. I didn't even notice braxton hicks last time. But I'm so much more aware of things now. It's tightening very regularly when I sat on the sofa watching tv. But nothing in the morning. I assume it just means my labour is still someway off.

liesal79 · 06/08/2014 13:14

Can I also be added to the Stats. 1MMC 3MC Due Date 23.12.14!!

ilovechops · 06/08/2014 13:48

Congrats keeping I hope all goes well in the next few weeks and well done on the expressing. I did 6 months of it for my DD and still to thid day can't believe I did it!

Please can I also be added to the list:

Ilovechops; 1DD, 1MMC, EDD 26th March 2015

missmakesstuff · 06/08/2014 13:55

Congratulations keeping best of luck with your little girl.

I don't know if I'm coming or going, we all still have jet lag, rd was asleep until 1:30am then up till nearly 6, stupidly we both then fell asleep until 12 midday today, so she's probably going to do the same tonight...

I'm trying to keep busy, Lord knows I've got enough to do, so I can get past the dreaded 8 weeks then wish away the week's till the 12 week scan. Whilst I'm pleased I'm off so the nausea etc isn't happening whilst teaching, I'm sure it would go quicker without all this time to dwell on what could go wrong.

My stats are 1 mc edd 29th March 2015, if I could be added thanks!

CorporeSarnie · 06/08/2014 14:21

Wow, keeping, glad to hear you're both OK and I hope that DD is strong enough to leave NICU very soon. I can't believe I'm only two weeks or so away from where you are. Good that the Docs are happy with progress to date, and well done you for overcoming your aversion to bf - but as others have said, make sure you are also getting enough rest and plenty of calories as bf is hard work.

I had a busy day yesterday - managed to combine a business jaunt with picking up a cosleeper crib from ebay. Am scared to bring the thing into the house, but will need to empty the car boot at some point. Sardine-sized slap. Also have managed to bring on my SPD something awful, as ran far too fast from the car to make sure all was OK with a horrible crash that I passed (car on roof, amazingly driver unscathed). There were plenty of people there and 999s on the way, so me injuring myself was plain silly, but I did want to make sure all was well rather than merrily continue on my way. Feel like an idiot now I'm shuffling about like a 90-yr-old.

MrsGiraffe12 · 06/08/2014 16:30

Someone tell me I'm allowed to have a "lazy slob" day at 35 weeks pregnant?! I feel an argument with DH coming on about how little I have done today!

DS has gone for a day out with grandad and I'm at home alone. All I've done is one load of washing, pegged it on the line, dishes from breakfast and lunch, and 2 carrier bags of shredding. Also about 15 mins of filing paper work from the last week. Feel totally wiped out doing just that. Still need to do some ironing (only have about 15 items to do) and clean laundry to collect in and put away, plus cook dinner, but all I want to do is lay on the sofa and do bugger all! I'm not even dressed yet :-S

Any of my fellow late term ladies feeling like the have ran into a brick wall of exhaustion? x

Congratulations keeping, wishing you a speedy recovery and best wishes for you all for the future. Hoping that baby is bale to return home with you soon xx

mrsg lazy day is fine, i have hit a similar wall here at 19 weeks!

missmake, hoping the first trimester passes speedily and stickily for you, and that you feel better soon.

I had a consultant appointment today, and birth choices discussion with the midwife. I feel slightly like I am living at antenatal clinic these days. However the midwife asked me to come back and discuss in 8 weeks as they were flat out, and the consultant made it clear that I would have very little choice at all, and told me that I had issues following my previous c-section. Of course I have issues; I nearly died of septicaemia, narrowly avoided a totally hysterectomy in my 20s, and the botched surgery probably caused my repeated miscarriages. It should be no great surprise that it is an experience that I am reluctant to repeat. Grrr.

squizita · 06/08/2014 17:09

Alb and One I get mild hardenings, wonder if they will get more distinct?

Missmakes pregnant and jet lag :) yuk... hope the lag fades soon!

Was rushing around today, boiling!! Had a nice day though, went to the fashion museum with my Dsis. Got home and now lying down having a kick-count (not overly worried, just checking at the mo) and a FB browse.

MrsG you've done MORE than enough. :) Honestly, that would be a busy day for me at the moment.

Cuppa Hope they sort you out so you feel more safe and secure about birth. Sucks when they think only of the clinical and not of you as a whole person. :(

littlemissy12345 · 06/08/2014 17:39

missmakes I'm in the same situation - my due date is the 28th march and I'm so glad this horrible nausea is happening in the 6 weeks holiday! Hopefully I'll be like last time and my ms will disappear by week 10 - in time for back to work!

missmakesstuff · 06/08/2014 18:03

Littlemissy that's mad that were due at the same time, I just checked actually and had it wrong, I'm actually due the 28th too! Although I had a strange few cycles of. + 30 days and a odd 21 day the one before the bfp, so who knows, Dr was 3 weeks early as breech and I got threats of preeclampsia, although it never developed.

Feel like I'm wishing the summer away! Will have toast for time off for the scan, but the head is great so it won't be a problem.

I feel like when I get to the point of birth and planning for it then I will probably find I don't have any choice, I had strep as well so they will hook me up to anti bs and probably make me have a section again, which I hated, my back was wrecked after and I would dearly love to try vbac. Don't want to think about it all yet though, just want to still be pregnant when my in laws go home next week!

Boozle80 · 06/08/2014 18:39

Missmakes and littlemiss I'm with you - my edd is the 1st April although I daren't quite say it aloud incase it doesn't come true! I'm also very glad it's the six weeks holidays not for ms as so far I've had nothing (worryingly so!) but that if it all goes pear shaped again at least I won't be in front of a classroom of kids!

littlemissy12345 · 06/08/2014 18:47

booze yes my classes suffered a bit last year with two mc, one of them a mmc where I had a week off. But all I was glad of was that I didn't start bleeding at school. Today is the only day in the last week that I could have thought about standing in front of a class!

littlemissy12345 · 06/08/2014 18:48

oops I mean boozle , Freudian slip?

Boozle80 · 06/08/2014 18:55

No luckily I wasn't in the class when it all went wrong as mine was mmc too - ended up having two months off though because of haemorrhaging and various other complications. It was the two months before SATs too! Fingers crossed we'll have none of that this time - just a very boring mundane seven and a half months... With piles, and constipation and hurling in abundance!

Boozle80 · 06/08/2014 18:56

Lol, definitely a Freudian slip..!

Babytinx11 · 06/08/2014 19:59

mrsg I'm only 10 weeks and I feel quite justified in having lazy slobby days mainly though because when my sickness is bad I don't want my eyes open at 35 weeks though you definitely don't need an excuse :)

OneLittleToddleTerror · 06/08/2014 21:23

mrsg hope your husband hasn't given you a hard time. I am happy everyday is a lazy day for me now until the baby is born. No excuse needed except I'm tired and uncomfortable.

silverine · 06/08/2014 21:43

Aaaagh, scan day tomorrow!! Still feel it could go either way... Pleeease keep your FX for me! If all is well tomorrow, I will add myself to the stats too! Wink

Babytinx11 · 06/08/2014 21:49

Good luck tomorrow silverine

MrsGiraffe12 · 06/08/2014 21:51

onetoddler nope, for once he didn't have a moan about jobs I haven't done, infact he did the food shop on the way home, cooked dinner and got the washing in :-) perhaps he's finally listening to me that I need to slow down a bit!
