Pregnancy

What are your more uncommon symptoms?

We all know the regular ones, swelling, heartburn, sickness etc etc etc just wondering who is suffering from less usual side effects and would be interested to see if any if them are more common than you might think.

So, I'm 29 weeks now and have noticed the following...

Dandruff Hmm not something I normally get, but pregnancy seems to set it off

Skin tags and swollen moles, more moles/freckles and general little bits of skin discolouration (had this when pregnant with ds as well so not worried it's something more sinister!)

Nose bleeds and bleeding gums

Anyone else experiencing any of these or care to share their own more unusual experiences?

I'm another with skin tags, my beautician zaps them for me with an electrolysis needle and they fall off. Also super itchy nipples. I normally have quite greasy spotty skin and have to wash my hair every day but since being pregnant my skin is clear and hair much less greasy - hopefully it will stay that way once bubba arrives.

I normally have very clear skin and hair that grows whilst I'm looking at it, however since getting upduffed I'm getting spots galore, my hair is greasy as soon as I wash it and not growing on my head..
Body hair however, let's just say I'll be keeping immac in the black for the next 5 months..

How do you know if you have a sleep orgasm?
I have freckles on my face and darker patches of skin.
Was really spotty until about 24 weeks, skin now at 30 weeks is the best it's ever been. Hair is best it's ever been since discovering I was pregnant and that has been the only thing that was good about early pregnancy other than our baby of course.

I got lumps in one armpit - got it checked out and apparently it was breast tissue Confused DD is now almost 6 months and it's gone down lots but is still there.
Also, a mole on my face grew enormously! That's also gone back to almost normal size, thank goodness!

Earwax, moles on nipples that fell off about a year after giving birth, skin tags, bleeding guns, bloody nose when blowing it, massive swollen lips

So glad to hear other people have similar weirdness!

Horrible aching wrists/hand joints, and "hurty bum" which turned out to be a variation of spd and which still comes back sometimes if I'm on a really hard chair.
Also cellulite from my ankles to bum (fortunately this disappeared).
Massively more greasy hair - this didn't go away!
Numb bump.

For me, the orgasm wakes me up! At least enough to be aware of it happening anyway. A bit disconcerting but it could be a lot worse!

I get the cellulite too, Dilli! I've never seen anyone mention it before. When I was pregnant with my first, my body hair stopped growing so I really wanted to make the most of it, especially as I live in a hot country, but had to keep my legs covered up. So relieved when it went after giving birth.
Pregnant with number 2 now and it's back with a vengeance....

Very weak and aching fingers and wrists, particularly at night and in the morning. Couldn't open jars to save myself.

Also, I had really bad depression while pregnant. Dreading having another baby in case that happens again.

Stiff joints in my hands and numb fingers.
Brown speckled arm pits.
Curly hair in the first trimester which straightened again after that.
Skin tags - yup!

I had awfully greasy skin & hair and terrible acne on my face, chest & back. I never suffered as a teenager so it was quite a shock.
I don't have much body hair anyway but under my arms stopped growing completely.
I had fab nails for the first time in my life & after being extremely ticklish my whole life, once I hit 2nd trimester I stopped being ticklish at all and I'm still not now.
I was quite poorly when pregnant due to an existing condition and had to take high dose steroids during pregnancy this mean my face changed shape and I ended up with a temporary condition described as 'moonface' - I really don't like our pregnancy/early baby photos because of this.

Nosebleeds

Fainting in hot weather

Absolutely agonising leg/foot cramps at night, I would be crying with pain.

skin tags and something that looks like little tiny blood blisters under the skin. Moles have gone a bit funny- got checked and GP said its the pg but all fine.

How do you get rid of skin tags- I had one removed years ago by gp and he left a terrible scar like a fag burn! He did actually burn it off but the nurse wanted to put a thread around it?? What the best way?

Nose bleeds
Skin tags
Horrible rash under arms, tops of legs, inner thighs, backs of knees. Not sure if just heat rash or if I've suddenly developed an irritation to something.

Drooling lots in my sleep - luckily that stopped immediately after the birth.

Dark armpits - wtf is this all about?! That issue still hasn't gone away Angry which is annoying because I want to wear vest tops now it's hot, but at a glance it looks like I've got hairy pits! Still got the linea nigra too.

Extreme, thick red stretchmarks on boobs but NONE on my belly.
