Hiya

I am not pg but have just had my 4th.I have 2 ds's.One who will be 15 on Tuesday and one who is 11 in December.

My dd1 was 2 on the 7th of August and dd2 was born on the 1st of August so is now 4 weeks and 1 day.

I had a hard time from some people when we had our 3rd and even worse when i was pg with our 4th.

It's fab having 4 and you will have a ball i promise!! How old are your other kids?

el123456 · 30/08/2006 22:39

El am fine..surprisingly easy pregnancy so far[praying it continues] and am lucky that ds is a generally easy going toddler...dd is another matter..lol

magicfarawaytree · 30/08/2006 23:09

congarts to you. I have three would love to have 4 but had a scare with no 3. I am jealous, and certainly dont think you are mad.

bubble99 · 30/08/2006 23:12

I'm Pg with number 4 and, like LadyTophamHatt, am expecting my fourth boy. We are going to have the most cliqueiest (sp?) clique on mnet.

I'll join you, el, and we can all compare notes.

mears · 30/08/2006 23:34

You are definitely mad

I have 4 children - felt exactly the same as you do. Youngest is 12 yrs now. Great having a large family. Enjoy

psychomum5 · 31/08/2006 00:23

you are mad, insane, nuts.....I could go on....these were all what was said to me while pregnant with number three.....I now have 5!!!.

hang in there and ignore all. it is a wonderful thing having many, and they will love it themselves (well, most of the time when no argueing), and altho it is hard work, I wouldn't change it for the world.

nope, strike that, this week I would when realising that I have five lots of uniform to name now, along with all the rest, as my youngest is off too next weekandtoo as I am gonna miss him like crazy and yet I am gonna have some freedom too.

congratulations and please pay no attention to what others say.
just because they feel that does in no way mean you have to believe it.

if we all were the same then we would be a pretty bored lot (and just think what MN would be like if that were to happen)

you will be fine....and it is very true what they say.....the more you have the easier it is, especially as they can all muck in together to entertain each other and give you more time on here...

el123456 · 31/08/2006 10:08

thank you all...previous comments even from friends have always been along the lines of:you will have no life, money, time etc ever again.i have even been told it cruel to other kids cause spreading myself to thin.think all this contributed to me being horribly low and sick at beginning.(what if they right kind of worries)reading these comments has been wonderful.

mears · 01/09/2006 23:23

How did that happen? Wrong thread?

Mytholmroyd · 02/09/2006 00:14

Hi el - congratulations! I had my fourth baby 5 months ago - not planned and like you everyone thought we were mad to have it, time, money, are you going to stop now??? blah blah - but we never have any money anyway so it sort of didnt matter . After three girls we got a little boy and he is the most gorgeous thing, so adorable and so good. Love him to bits. Really glad we did it - no regrets. One more doesnt make so much difference. It was the first that turned our lives upside down!
