I do hope your babies come soon esp you finding I am only 34 + 3 and already getting a bit fed up needing oh to help me get up and takes a lot of effort to turn over in bed. Knowing I have 5 1\2 more weeks until due date and then could go up to 2 weeks over aghh

I know I keep going over in my head "it could be another 18 days" (mw said they induce at 12 days over here). Think I will be crazy by then.
Had a big row with dh today,, just what him to try and pick me up a bit,,. But he just seems annoyed about my being down. I feel quite sad at times.

Thank you :)

I make such a grumpy pregnant person and we had decided at about 17 weeks this would definately be our last! I don't miss being pregnant, particularly the heartburn and the inability to walk less than 10 mins without having a sitdown.and.just generally feeling like a tank.

The last week flew by though and suddenly the day had arrived (planned section)

ds is just perfectly squidgy, makes me remember why we do it! Good luck everyone!

I had terrible HG and slipped in my own sick running to the bathroom at 31 weeks, ruptured my waters and had DD at 31+3.

I was so glad I wasn't pregnant anymore I felt guilty for not wishing she was still inside me.

I hated every second of it. I doubt DD will have a sibling.

Congratulations colleysmill, fingers crossed will be my item soon. I know I shouldn't wish my pregnancy away but I just want it sooo bad now!
When I forget about it I'm ok,, but most of the day I remember and get myself all wound up.

Coolley Congratulations!! God I can't wait!

Bump crikey that must have been terrifying.

Spooky we are at the same point, I'm 39+2 today. I hate it too, feeling like pregnancy has made me such an awful parent to the older 2 DCs and it has recently transpired that DS is having real problems at school Sad I was late with the other 2 though so I expect it will be another 2 weeks for me. They induce at 10 days over at my hospital.

Thought I'd update... Having made us wait an agonising six days overdue, our son arrived at great haste this morning. Woke with period pains just before midnight, contractions were soon coming thick and fast and he was born at 1.45am in our communal hallway, delivered by my very shocked (but heroic) husband ShockShock as we were making our way to hospital.... Second labours really are faster!!

Congratulations findingherfeet and OMG that was a dramatic entrance to the work and well done to you and hubby!
Now of course absolutely petrified as had quite quick labour with first!

pirates I'm very good at burying my head in the sand. I was in denial. Didn't admit to myself that it was happening until I felt that weird need to push (someone one here put it best - like a backwards vomit.)

I had broken my tail bone too when I fell.

When I think back I went through quite an ordeal, but at the time, to me, it was just pregnancy and birth.

oooohhhh... this defo seems to be a theme for 30 -35 weeks. I told the partner at work today that first time pregnancy was all hearts & flowers. this time its just hugely inconvenient. just someone hand me a baby now please!!!! I'm 30+4. over it. breathlessness has been really worrying me. started to think I was asthmatic. clearly just a flipping whale.

Due date tomorrow. Went to mw today and came out feeling totally deflated. Couldn't stop crying, when's it gonna happen? Feel like I'm a failure and think I'm gonna lose the plot with everyone keeping on asking me. ....I also know this is totally stupid!

Report
PiratesMam · 06/03/2014 21:18

Spookey did mw give you a sweep or anything?

33+3 and wide awake as dd2 thinks the middle of the night is a fantastic time to kick me royally in the fanny. It fecking hurts. Pregnancy - over it. I'm the size of the house and if one more person remarks that I look overdue already, I'll sit on them. 5w+5d until csection and it can't come a day too soon. God I'm a moany cow!

The weather is hot here in Portugal so im now trying to go through baggy dresses and skirts as getting too hot but no point in buying anything new for a month at most. I want to sleep on my tummy again getting anxious but want it over now

No sweep yesterday pirate, gave appt for Tuesday and say they will do one then.
Have literally not say down today and a, feeling quite uncomfortable, lots of twinges, and feel like I'm leaking some fluid all the time now,.,,so who knows. Dont want to text dh about these as think I'm gonna jinx everything all the time.
How's things with you pirate? How are yr sick ones?

Report
PiratesMam · 07/03/2014 17:34

The sickies are getting better thank god! I've been having twinges too but baby has swivelled around a bit and I'm now feeling kicks more on the left side so I think that's why... Will have to start scrubbing the floors to get baby into a better position!

Report
Spookey80 · 07/03/2014 20:21

Glad they are bit better. I have already been scrubbing the floors, virtually not sat down today and was having lots of twinges. Now I'm sat down and although I feel uncomfortable I don't feel as bad as earlier. ...but I can't just keep in the move all the time! Aaaargh,.,when's it going to happen?
Trying to be a bit less stressed,., wasn't like this with the other 2, but then they came before due date so ?.. Good to know I'm not the only one piratesmam.
