Hahaa I just though that pixie my daughter is painting mine as we speak although my toes have more varnish on them than the actual nail hahaaa

kjh5 · 28/02/2014 17:02

Glamour pissed! That's exactly how I feel Pixie Grin I've actually booked a pedi in at the salon around the corner - given that I can't see/reach my feet its supposed to be a start-of-mat-leave treat. However my appt is in 15min, its bucketing down outside and I'm not sure I can physically move from the sofa...

Fod I'm jealous you have a DD on hand to pamper you!!

Davmallem2013 · 28/02/2014 17:19

I can't keep up with this thread Wink, it does give me a laugh reading it all in big chunks when I can keep up. I have had to have a little read of the white thread, o how amusing! I don't have any children nor do a live in squalor but I wouldn't be buying all white....good luck with that is all I can say, o and she may need to buy a lot of vanish Grin

Welcome corpor I hope you get some positivity from the helpful ladies on this thread as I am.

Congrats scater what fabulous news Grin

cbeebies that baby grow of Sully sounds fab & very cute, the bird off the white baby thread will be having exorcist head spins over something like that. saggy ACDC ones really?? My husband is the biggest fan, god if he finds they make them I know what would be bulk bought Grin

Good luck for your scan nerdy, I am going for one in the evening on Monday as I am having proper wobbles & convincing myself I am going through all this and feeling so ill for nothing as I am obsessed there will be no heartbeat. I think it doesn't help I am off revising for a big exam at the moment but can't concentrate to do any, keep thinking if bean isn't alive then will have to get surgery done or something before I am due back at work as have kept it all quiet other than telling my direct line manager as I had to so they could restrict what I do due to my history. I know I am causing myself more stress but just can't stop planning the negatives in my head and how I will get around them. Hit 9 wks today so booked the scan as (after finding out I was supposed to self refer myself to a MW via my NHS website) they have booked me in for some early bird meeting with MW company on tues & think no point in going unless I feel I know everything is ok at the moment Sad.

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 28/02/2014 18:58

Alb white baby grows are fine and lovely as are coloured ones, it's the assumption she can keep them clean. All baby clothes get stained! Ime coloured (particularly dark colours) last longer as you just can't see it as much!!

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 28/02/2014 19:01

Dav I bought it in a moment of madness while we were in Disneyland! It's 6 months and in theory should fit him for haloween!! As dd1's birthday is 29th October she usually has a dressing up party and I can't wait!

love that! so cool Smile

Pixielady83 · 28/02/2014 19:17

just revisiting white baby clothes Fred. apparently same poster also did ranty pram thread a few weeks ago (where they started asking for advice and then had a massive go at certain types of pram thereby demonstrating quite considerable pram knowledge already). I'm thinking possibly hairy of hand...?

LondonJen · 28/02/2014 19:18

Corpore Eek there should be a vermin warning at the top of that site! "Dildocam extravaganza"!!! He he he. At least you will know it's in the right place/not ectopic I guess?

Glamour pissed Grin Brilliant.

Good luck on Monday Dav Try not to worry I know, I know, so easy to say and keep your mind from wandering over the what ifs of the future at least some of the weekend. Fingers x all will be well. 9 weeks is quite a milestone Smile

fod27 · 28/02/2014 19:18

Can't stop laughing at the other thread!

Pixielady83 · 28/02/2014 19:35

I know, its brilliant! I really hope she's not for real because if she genuinely does not sleep I fear for what level of crazy that child is going to be subjected to Shock but y'know, she is seasoned in meditation, so maybe it'll all be fine Grin

squizita · 28/02/2014 19:47

I'm really worried tbh. It reads like a 16-18 year old who wants to escape and be grown up by being a mum, when they are the least prepared. The earnest judgey bits with the dolly fantasy (clean white baby) and the housework like an advert. Sounds like the girls I refer to the "this is what having a baby young is really like" session (run by amazingly good, switched on young mums!) When they start writing weird stuff on fb and their mates come to me worried.

Pixielady83 · 28/02/2014 19:49

do you think she is really pregnant squiz? she's got another thread about buying a pram from Poland...

squizita · 28/02/2014 20:08

No. It honestly sounds - bar the topic of baby equipment- exactly like the banter and online bullying print outs I read when sanctioning low ability teens. Snatches of grown up phrasing, very odd spelling errors (her OWN JOB), googled "knowledge' and back pedalling like her 'no I'm older' post.
She also haunts the conception boards.

squizita · 28/02/2014 20:13

And she thinks GPs are the docs who deliver babies.

Pixielady83 · 28/02/2014 20:17

oh dear...

OddSocksandHoleyPants · 28/02/2014 20:17

Wow this thread moves fast! I popped over to look at the white clothes one and now there's loads more here! That thread's hilarious Grin
Good luck on Monday dav
Sorry last night didn't turn into anything saggy.

Good news on the scan front, I've managed to get it agreed that I'll have one at 8-9weeks, hooray :) Also found some stats on mmc & it looks like they're much less common than I realised - so I guess the likelihood is if I don't bleed it's most likely there's a baby growing in there. Trying to be positive whilst clamping my hopes down...

MrsGiraffe12 · 28/02/2014 20:48

My god. That OP on white baby clothes threat needs shooting.

fedupofrainydays · 28/02/2014 20:58

I think the OP is just taking the piss. Deliberately doing it to wind people up! She needs to just fuck off tho!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 28/02/2014 21:10

Ive reported that thread. The OP is seriously odd. Either a troll or needing help!

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 28/02/2014 21:45

I don't understand? Confused I've just read through the pram thread too, odd odd odd. Seriously, I'm a pram addict and have had several, however there is no way I'd give up my bugaboo for anyone!! But then each to his own and whateve works for you!
