KJH how far along are you? (sorry not been around for a while and cant remember) I feel the same at the moment, I'm just HUGE!!

Oh and the only outfit I have for baby is a sully babygro from Monsters Inc, including a little tail! Grin Hmm Its so cute, but I reallly need to get my arse into gear and buy this baby some clothes, or I'm going ot be bringing home a naked baby from the hospital!

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 28/02/2014 12:25

Hi Corpore, pull up a chir, these wonderful ladies in here have gotten me through to 30 weeks without loosing the plot too much!

I so know what you mean about the joy in pregnancy being gone, there isnt any for me anymore, its just all worry anxiety and waiting for the inevitable (for me its my 9th pregnancy 3rd child) Go easy on yourself and take 1 day at a time, today you are pregnant, congratulations! Smile

NerdyBird · 28/02/2014 12:33

Welcome corpore, hope you're in for a smooth ride this time.

squiz you can get loads of cool stuff for babies. I got my cousin's baby a black baby grow with skulls printed on it. They are goth types and dress him in lots of cool things. Tinterweb will help you!

Last week my DP ordered some baby clothes (white, mainly ;) ) and they came the other day when I was having my wobble. I am refusing to open the package until after Tuesday's scan. We won't really be buying much until April, we need to wait until I get my bonus next month!

fod27 · 28/02/2014 13:08

saggy been on the thread just what a bitch! I slipped my opinion in although I've no doubt she will tell me how I too live in scum!

LondonJen · 28/02/2014 13:14

Scater that is very exciting!

Fod I will want to know, dp doesn't want to know, fully intend to wear him down Grin

kjh what a lovely team! I will need pics of your lovely baby in said bumble bee outfit! Love it!

Hello corpore do pull up a chair. You will find so much support here in among the mad crazy angst. I have had plenty of good sobs about how I will never get to enjoy a pregnancy after experiencing MC with my 1st, life is harsh. So I know just how you feel. But I am now 8 weeks (prev mc was at 10 wks) and I have had some moments of positivity I never thought I would have when I first got my bfp. I wish you a very uneventful and quiet pregnancy.

So DRUM ROLL please. My VERY exciting news is that I just received a letter, an ACTUAL, REAL LIFE booking in appointment letter!! OOOOooooo! I never got one of those last time (god knows why). FINALLY something to distinguish this pregnancy from the last. And my booking in appointment is in 2 weeks which is when things went to shit last time so it will give me something else to focus on around those dates. I am so pleased. I cried when I read it Grin

Pixielady83 · 28/02/2014 13:21

london whoop for your letter! Smile brilliant milestone.

hi cbeebies how are you doing? was just thinking of you the other day.

scater twin girls! fabulous! Smile

squiz you can get mini guns n roses t shirts! I'll try and find the website. DD had a band t shirt but I've forgotten which one!

Pixielady83 · 28/02/2014 13:22

forgot to say welcome corpore Smile many congratulations on your bpf I really hope this is a smooth pregnancy for you Smile

fod27 · 28/02/2014 13:42

I'm sure you'll win in the end london

squizita · 28/02/2014 13:42

Pixie Bookmarking it for further browsing. It. Is. Epic.

kjh5 · 28/02/2014 14:25

Cbeebies! hello, I'm just coming up for 33 weeks... I have a pic of myself from three weeks ago and I've literally doubled in size, I don't see how my bump can physically get any bigger!

Awww scater - two girls!! How absolutely lovely Grin

Welcome Corpore today you are pregnant! Everyone on here is fully familiar with all the highs, lows and general batshit craziness that follows finding out you're pg after mc. You are in good company.

I've just had a bath - turns out that was a bad idea. I was stuck in there for ages after discovering trying to climb out of our giant tub while suffering from SPD and weighing about 10kg more than the last time I was in there is somewhat difficult. I'm feeling pretty damn exhausted after spending far too long floundering around like a turtle on its back! Anyway - two hours later and I am finally ready. I'm not entirely sure what exactly it is that I'm ready for, but by god if it comes a-knocking I shall greet it like a cross between a pantene and venus advert - fully clothed, with blow-dried hair and shaven legs...

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 28/02/2014 14:34

Fod I know. I was a bitch. I just couldn't help myself! Wink Grin
Pixie im going to have a look at that website when I get in. I love funky stuff. I recently bought the cutest little vest with the AC/DC logo on it but it actually says AB/CD! Grin
Im not a fan of the slightly icky stuff.. "all daddy wanted was a bj" type thing but this is sooooo cute!

OP posts:
fedupofrainydays · 28/02/2014 14:36

Ha ha ha at 'all daddy wanted was a bj'

fedupofrainydays · 28/02/2014 14:39

Do they really exist? I think you should write about those on the white baby clothes thread saggy... Would definitely warrant another toodle loo!!!

Alb1 · 28/02/2014 15:45

Congrats scater, very exciting!

That baby clothes thread is hilarious, and maybe slightly intimidating... Having no children yet I'd given it no thought at all, although think I won't be buying much white now, so many poo stories! Iv bought 2 outfits so far, a bumble bee and a giraffe, my child proly won't no what species it by the time iv finished baby shopping Smile my and DP have already realised were gona buy pointless amounts of cute cloths we don't actually need, but if we get to the end and have a baby we really cudnt care less, wel jus aim to be sensible with dc2 when we have one

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 28/02/2014 16:06

Nooo Alb!
White stuff is lovely. Its the OP that isn't.
I have tonnes of white baby gros!

OP posts:
fod27 · 28/02/2014 16:16

Hahaa saggy you were funny!!! I sat here reading it to DH he thought it was hilarious ;)

Pixielady83 · 28/02/2014 16:25

no I don't like the icky stuff either but the band tshirts and vests rock :-) love bold colours on babies, I am not at all a fan of pastel baby coloured clothes (although I do have a weakness for white/cream for the first few weeks, so new, so clean!)

LondonJen · 28/02/2014 16:25

kjh I am so impressed and jealous of your goddess status! A shower is such an effort these days. Tho I managed to get to the shops to fulfill my digestive biscuit craving yum yum

fod27 · 28/02/2014 16:28

I think OP is in for a shock with the "parenting is only as hard as you make it line" Babies are hard work ( and they just eat, sleep and poo) wait until they are in their teens and they have their own opinions and decisions to make and come home wearing a pink tutu over black leggings with a biker jacket, wait until they are telling you how wrong you are about everything and complaining about the pictures of them when they were babies/toddlers/children because of how uncool then were dressed

My ten year old DD would never wear pink, white, flowers, bows anything of the sort would make her blood boil. I am very much a girly girl but I love that my daughter knows her own mind enough and has the confidence to wear what she likes without feeling or thinking that she will be judged by others - Well unless she was wearing a tutu and had a double barrelled name of course

CorporeSarnie · 28/02/2014 16:30

Thanks all for the welcome. I had begun investigations (due to LP bleeds) prior to last week's BFP, and had a dildocam extravaganza booked as part of this. Just rang up to try and cancel and they want me to come in still. I know it is going to be no real reassurance as Dr Google tells me they will only see a sac at 5w. So will go, but am feeling a bit odd about it (esp as GP said cancel).
I saw the white clothes fred, have. no. words. Poor girl really.
My friend just posted a link to this, I think it is one of the maddest things I've ever seen on the internet is.gd/ellenpics. Just... why?

fod27 · 28/02/2014 16:32

I'm on the pampering wagon too - fake tanned, pedicured and nail extensions under way - I may be huge but I will feel fabulous!!!

Pixielady83 · 28/02/2014 16:44

fod and kjh you glamour pissed! I'm going to try and persuade DH to give me a pedicure tonight Grin

Pixielady83 · 28/02/2014 16:45

errr that should have said glamour pusses!
