Oh no bugs hope it turns out to be nothing and you feel better soon.

hat still feeling rough, very nauseous and eating absolute crap is the only thing that helps.

bugs hope you are ok. These few weeks are so scary. I hope you stayed - it's better to get some reassurance rather than worry at home.

hat I know what you mean about the ante-natal threads! I am lurking on the October board, but I'm not quite ready to jump in. Feels like there are lots of people who have got BFP's after 1 or 2 cycles (or accidentally!) and I'm just not ready for that.

I'm doing fine. Little bit of nausea this morning, but no sign of blood or any more cramps. I broke and did a test on Wednesday afternoon and had a nice reassuringly strong instant line. I will try not to wait until next Wednesday when they are doing another scan.

My only current (quite minor) complaint is that I can't sleep on my stomach, which I normally do. After a while I start to get light crampy pains, and so I'm sleeping only on my sides now. But I've had a shoulder problem since I was young, and sleeping on it makes it much worse! And I can't stand to stay on the one side only all night. Small problem I know, but already the pain is really annoying. I may see if I can get a bit of physio to try to deal with it, as presumably things will only get worse.

Oh bugs what a night. It sounds as though it could be OHSS problems and nothing more (not that this is nothing iyswim) but horrible to have to just wait it out. 'Good' to know about the pessaries, I worried a bit about that too, that they could mask miscarrying.

How are you feeling today, are you off work?

time I am lurking over on the October thread too! Also not ready for it, it seems huge and I'm still at the post miscarriage/ttc for 2 years/ ivf and feeling nervous stage. Feeling excited too, just cautiously so.

time2deal · 14/02/2014 14:09

Bugs glad you are home. To be honest when I had the bleeding they did a scan and pretty much said the same thing. The only thing they may be able to confirm is if it's all over/never really started.

thanks for the info that the progesterone won't prevent bleeding if it is a miscarriage. I was also wondering that, so really helpful info to know that no blood means no blood! Not just that its being artificially prevented.

When is your next scan?

Hatteras · 14/02/2014 14:15

bunny I'm also feeling pretty rough. After worrying (complaining) about no symptoms earlier this week, I've got increasingly nauseous these last few days. Not actually been sick just an almost constant nauseous feeling. Trying to work out what I want to eat and yes it's carby/beige food that seems to be the only thing. I was sooo healthy during the ivf but that's all going out the window now!

The waiting is the worst and like you say, we just want reassurance that everything is ok, but all that can be done is wait.

I'll admit I was in pieces leading up tothe scan yesterday and actually in tears when I went into the ultrasound room. Very not me to be like that but I just couldn't help it. The staff at the clinic are just lovely and DH told them about the mmc (the only other time I have been pregnant) and how that loss was discovered at my first scan - hence me being a mess.

It's a tough journey, hoping very much we will all be cuddling newborns in October Thanks

time2deal · 14/02/2014 14:54

I really wanted someone this week to say it would all be fine, or at least that things looked normal/ok, but nobody did! They all just said it was too early to tell, and that it could mean nothing or something.

GP said some people have no bleeding, and a MMC, and others have constant bleeding and a healthy baby. I just wanted her to say 'I'm sure it will be fine' and give me a hug!! Although if she actually did I'd probably instantly lose all respect for her... such is the fickleness of a pregnant womans emotions.

Sorry to read that you're having ups and downs over here and just to reassure you, the pessaries do not stop bleeding if you've miscarried. I am proof. I say this not for sympathy but to confirm the doctor's advice!

The sickness started between 5-6 weeks I think. The tiredness hit about a week after test day.

Bad day over here. Discovered I was bleeding last night just before I went to bed, had no cramps or pain at all which is why it was such a shock. Bleeding was brown at first but then there was some red blood. More than spotting but not super heavy, just needed one pad overnight. Bleeding has now stopped and still no pain or cramps.

Spoke to dr on the phone who said to go to ER if I felt I needed it or if there was alot of blood loss / pain and cramps. Otherwise I have to just rest it out, keep my fingers crossed and call them on Monday am for an appointment/scan.

At my scan on Thursday they did say there was something that looked liked a bleed, so hoping it is just that. Can't believe it really, just when I was starting to relax after the scan...

Hope everyone else is faring a bit better!

Yep, fucking hell pretty much sums it up bugs. Weirdly calm now, think I just can't face the idea of this being not ok. If you don't mind me asking, how long after bleeding did your cramps start?

Hope you are doing ok, the waiting game is tortuous.

Bleeding totally stopped by this afternoon, so keeping my fingers crossed there is no more. It started with no warning, no cramp or pain so am a bit wary it could just start right up again.

Calling the dr on Mon am so will hopefully get a scan that day or v soon. Since there was no pain/ not much blood we decided against an ER visit this weekend, there didn't seem much point.

Bunnygirlie · 16/02/2014 10:53

Oh gosh hat sorry you have this worry too Sad

One of the girls on another thread I'm on has just had a 9 week scan and there is no heart beat, so sad. Got me freaking out a little.

The stress never stops does it.

hey ladies,
Went for a 7 week scan today and saw the heartbeat! Lovely and strong and fast. Sonographer said it looked fine - 8mm which puts me at 6w5d, but before 12 weeks it can vary week to week.

wow! This could be really happening!

Hatteras · 19/02/2014 15:04

time that is wonderful! It is incredible to see that little heartbeat isn't it Smile

bugs how are you doing on the waiting game?

bunny how are things?

Afm, things are looking alot brighter after the bleed at the weekend. It totally cleared up and we had a scan on Monday that shows the bean is totally fine...but I do have a lot of blood in my uterus. Dr said he thought there was a good 75%+ chance that it will be ok but said there is the possibility that if the bleeding moves a certain way it could dislocate the sac and cause a miscarriage. Having another scan next week to check it, hopefully it will be no worse or even receding. Oh and the Dr said that it is quite likely that I could bleed on and off for months. Yes, months!!

So, still a bit cautious but things are ok for now. I have to take things easy, nothing strenuous and just have faith things will be ok. The worry doesn't end after that desperately sought after BFP does it??

Other than that I have full on all day 'morning' sickness, or rather nausea. It's really got quite bad but more than happy to put up with it as long as things stay ok!
