Hello again - another shiny new thread for the batsh*t crazy women going through the stress and emotional rollercoaster that is being pregnant after a miscarriage.

Fingers crossed for lots of happy scans and boring pregnancies.

Saggy had my flu jab yesterday, so far so good - already had a cold though so not likely to notice either way (don't remember any side effects from last pg)

Pink I was just thinking the same, I technically have 4 weeks left but got some annual in there....WHOOP!

Good luck today Kat and any other scannees I may have overlooked xxx

kat - best of luck for your results today. I've got my harmony bloods next week and can't wait to get the results. Am soooo hoping for a good result this time round. Eek. Fx for you.

pink - it must be such a nice feeling that the wait is nearly over!!
janie - any sign of your cat?. I feel so sad when I hear about lost cat stories. Cats are the best.

fod after post-scan euphoria of last week, yes I'm not overwhelmed by the joy of 2nd trimester so far. Symptoms lingering (nausea, bloating, nice) but fading and no other visible signs of pg and a looong wait until I can hope to feel the baby start moving - beginning to feel like a bit of a fraud when I talk to people about it and yes somewhat like I'm tempting fate. Had to look at scan pics a couple of times yesterday to reassure myself there's actually a baby in there, and then felt much better!

Good luck for the scans and test results today's girls, got everything crossed for you.

Saggy yes I'm getting the flu jab, got the last one in March too, and I got the whooping cough one too.

Still no sign of my wee cat, I'm very distressed about it :( thank you for all the positive vibes, really hope he cones back safely.

I was part if the wide awake club too this morning but dh shouted at me for being on my phone at 4.30am so couldn't join the twilight chat earlier x

Morning all, really struggling with my teeth today, I have a dentist appointment next Friday but there's not much he can do about it till after pregnancy :( (cracked back tooth, waiting for general anestitic to have it fixed)

Feeling really miserable today, just want to curl up and go back to bed, I can't tho as I have a therapy appointment this morning. I'm just having a down day and am wishing My body would get on and miscarry so I can get on with my life. It's like a cruel joke.

Scan tomorrow then I'll be able to start feeling more positive? Maybe?

Argh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to be so negative :( it's just a bad day. I just have to get through today.

Janie gums maybe? classic pg symptom and you might not see if its from the back.

birds I totally felt like a fraud talking about the pregnancy even after 12wk scan. I'm only happy talking about it now that I'm feeling regular movements, I didn't really get any peace of mind until that happened.

Re the spit, it's more of a throaty blood than a mouthy blood...just happened first thing and Serbs to have cleared phew. And I spoke too soon saying I didn't have a sore throat...seems to be on its way boo

Please can I join you? Although I'm scared that will jinx things!
We lost our last baby at 20 weeks and so am ridiculously stressed about trying again. I am 5 weeks or thereabouts. We have one DD already.
My symptoms are up and down - sickness and sore boobs, then sore tummy and indigestion, then nothing except bloating. I'm already driving OH crazy with worry.
Congratulations to everyone who has managed to stay sane so far...

Oh remember my whiffy chuff last week, well it appears I have a uti so have to pick up antibiotics later. At least I know phew

Ladies who have had flu jabs before, did you feel ok afterwards? both the clinic dates I can do fall on busy weekends so don't really want to spoil them by feeling flu-ey.

Hello Tig. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, and wish all the best for this pregnancy. Congratulations!

I've got my dates for the booking-in appointment and my 12-week scan. Both manage to be very inconvenient in terms of getting DS to and from nursery. I'm just going to have to call a friend and make them a very nice lunch, then grovel a bit.

Bugger - I keep forgetting things: I had the flu jab last time with DS, and felt absolutely fine afterwards. My husband swears that he gets ill every time after having it, but I must be made of sterner stuff!

Thanks ladies, didn't have it last time so wasn't sure. Wish they could vaccinate against stomach bugs too, its those that always seem to hit us the hardest in the winter!

Snot I'm sure your friend will be happy to help especially if she knows its all for an excellent cause

Hello Tigs and welcome, hope you have a very very dull pregnancy x

This day has just gone from bad to worse :( I arrive at my therapy appointment, nipped to the toile and discovered I was bleeding. Been on the phone to EPAU who can't fit me in today. Luckily my appointment is tomorrow, been told to take some paracetamol and wait (standard midwife response then! ) thankfully both girls have decided to take a nap (thank god for small miracles) I'm makin some dinner and will try and sleep after. Dh is trying to get home soon to help look after the monsters.

Seriously tho, this is it. This is the last pregnancy. I can't keep doing this, it's not good I feel so helpless and resigned. I just can't do it any more.
