Hello again - another shiny new thread for the batsh*t crazy women going through the stress and emotional rollercoaster that is being pregnant after a miscarriage.

Fingers crossed for lots of happy scans and boring pregnancies.

Welcome RaRaz your in good hands and congrats on your BFP!!!

Just thought I'd slip in that I have my 16week check up with MW in a couple of hours and I've just found out that apparently you will hear the heartbeat????

SaggyIsHavingAPinkKitten · 08/10/2013 12:10

Welcome RaRaz. Join the fray!

I appear to have misplaced my maternity notes. Hmm I need to go in to work and search the vans. Bum!

SnotMyProblem · 08/10/2013 12:36

Welcome RaRaz, and congratulations. Hoping for a nice, boring few months ahead for you.

Good luck fod. I can't remember when I heard the heartbeat first time round, but I hope you do today.

Saggy, a pox on losing maternity notes. Hope you find them.

That's a lot of hopes, I've just realised.

I've just had a call from the GP surgery saying they've had the results of my blood tests in and the doctor wants to see me and he would prefer this week to next week, so appointment duly made for a couple of days' time. No clue as to why, though. Gah! Also, he's a bit personality-free and I was hoping to avoid seeing him again.

ThePFJ · 08/10/2013 12:36

Sorry girls I am out. I got to 9 weeks - that was an accomplishment I guess. Surgery for me asap. Take me off the stats. Good Luck all. Love and hugs - ThePFJ xxxxxxx

SnotMyProblem · 08/10/2013 12:39

ThePFJ I am so sorry. Take care of yourself.

RaRaZ · 08/10/2013 13:17

Thanks for the welcomes Smile - and, Snot, I've never been so pleased to have boredom wished on me! Thankyou!

The PFJ: I don't know you so hope I don't come across as butting my nose in where it ain't wanted, but I'm really sorry. I've been there and it's shit. Wishing you all the best Flowers

GuffSmuggler · 08/10/2013 13:20

So sorry PFJ it's utterly shit Angry No one should have to go through this.

saggy is right about the supermarkets offering flu jabs, I had mine at Sainsbury's pharmacy for the last 2 years. You just stop by with your trolley and they'll do it there and then if they can. Cost me a tenner.

GardenWorm · 08/10/2013 13:52

PFJ so sorry to read your post. It is so so rubbish that you are going through this again. Big hugs to you and your family. I hope you have all the support you need in real life. Look after yourself xxxx

shellsocks · 08/10/2013 14:15

So sorry to hear your news pfj I hope you are being looked after in RL and that the surgery all goes smoothly from here. Best of luck for the future x

So I had a night at the hospital last night (on my own as DH stayed with DS!), no movements so had to be monitored (all fine Smile) and then they thought the head might be at the top so a bit of late night drama. Head is down and baby kicking today so god knows what was going on....never had to do this with DS, you do feel a bit daft when you get there and get on the monitor only for baby to start kicking Blush

Pixielady83 · 08/10/2013 14:29

pfj I am so so sorry. As the others have said hope you are getting plenty of TLC in rl and that you are back here very very soon xxx Thanks Thanks Thanks

Xxx

fod27 · 08/10/2013 14:53

Ok guys!!! I heard my baby!!!! Recorded it for the inlaws too ;) turns out my blood pressure is v low hence my headaches and dizzy spells

fod27 · 08/10/2013 14:56

She said I've put no weight on too!!! Yes!!!

Bakingtins · 08/10/2013 15:56

PFJ I'm really sorry. Nobody should have to go through it more than once, it gets a little more shit each time.

My scan was ok. 5/6 week sac and foetal pole, no heartbeat but that was as expected - too early. Clexane injections start tonight, 16 days until next scan which is probably the one to dread - it has tended to start to go wrong by 7-8 weeks and actually miscarry at 9-10. But let's think positive!

oh pjf I'm so so sorry...Stay strong and hope to see you here again soon. Lots of hugs. x

welcome RaRa and congratulations! All the best for your pregnancy!

snot I can't believe they didn't you a clue what the appointment is about....I hate it when this happens! Good luck, let us know what they say

shell I hope you're alright! Scary! When I was monitored yesterday I was surprised at how much the baby kicked and moved. I wonder if it's because you're totally concentrating on the bump with no distraction whatsoever. Glad all is well Smile My baby is lying laterally at the moment so I'm a bit nervous about what I'll be told in my next appointment.

baking good news on your scan! I know, the next one is the scary one but fingers crossed!

saggy and guff thanks for the supermarket info - I had no idea.

Pixielady83 · 08/10/2013 17:07

fod and tins so pleased to hear your good news Smile

my question of the day: top tips on how and when to tell nearly 3 to DD about baby. I think she overheard my friend telling her little boy 'pixie's got a baby in her tummy' on Saturday (friend didn't know I hadn't told DD and DD was sat a bit away playing). I might be paranoid but since then DD has been super clingy, screaming for me all the time, playing up and then sobbing when she is told off. She was also putting a teddy up her top on Saturday and saying it was a baby. So I'm worried she heard and is now unsettled and worried so figure I just need to tell her and get it out in the open, give her lots of reassurance etc. Eek. Scared though. Was hoping to leave it til after Christmas I'm not sure I can cope with all of her questions yet!

pumpkinsweetie · 08/10/2013 17:11
