Thanks ladies! Just had the pessary inserted so hopefully not much longer cx

TwoTearsInABucket · 13/11/2013 23:11

Hope all is progressing nicely green

I've been having contractions every ten mins since about 7pm maybe and every half an hour before that. They last about 20 seconds and are now getting a bit sore! I am hoping this is it!

StormBird · 13/11/2013 23:13

good luck green and twotears!! looking forward to your news.

BummyMummy77 · 13/11/2013 23:31

Come on girls you're on the home stretch!

(she says through jealous, gritted teeth :D)

TwoTearsInABucket · 14/11/2013 00:38

It will be you soon I promise. Still on the sofa contracting every 10 or so mins while DH sleeps upstairs.
I am knackered and its nowhere near time to go to hospital. Arse.
Where you in America bummy?

GreenGiant3 · 14/11/2013 02:49

I got pessary just after 7pm they put me on monitor and came back 30mins later to see I was contracting and not allowed to go home! Just came to labour ward at 1.30 got epidural and I'm just relaxing, DP is "bored" Grin he thought it was going to be more eventful GrinGrin I'm having an amazing labour so far... Hopefully the rest goes as smoothly Smile

Fakebook · 14/11/2013 04:26

Green, epidurals are the best thing ever invented! I slept through labour with dd and an epidural!

Good luck!

Twotears, try resting between contractions now and practise your breathing with each one. Deep breath in and release gently as the contraction peaks and subsides. Good luck!

GreenGiant3 · 14/11/2013 05:28

Thanks fake Smile got my waters broken, love this epidural although it's making me Sooooooo itchy ConfusedGrin

Hope everyone else is doing well x

HMT13 · 14/11/2013 07:27

Good luck greengiant! Smile

BummyMummy77 · 14/11/2013 07:35

So exciting! I'm in Maine on an island in the sea.

2am and wide awake as usual. Have some back pain and just threw up so that's encouraging.

Funny both your dps are a bit underwhelmed. Give them a few hours and their panic levels will rise lol.

Fingers crossed for you girls. :)

StormBird · 14/11/2013 10:11

I have what feels like a stitch going down the right side of my bump yet I've done nothing to get a stitch!! also have a bit of an achy lower back and to top it off I have been really sick about 4 times since yesterday evening (worse this morning). could this be it!??? please be it!!!!!

CuteLittleToes · 14/11/2013 10:26

How exciting, any babies yet? Grin

BummyMummy77 · 14/11/2013 14:03

Storm, I'd say could be but don't want to get your hopes up.

I've had cramping all night (again) and it's getting worse. I've thrown up a couple of times too. Maybe we're going into labour, maybe it this 'practice' bullshit my MW keeps talking about, maybe we have stomach flu lol.

I do know he's turned totally anterior during the night which fucking HURTS but he's dead on to come out.

StormBird · 14/11/2013 15:21

bummy.....i must be THE grumpiest pregnant woman on the planet right now....i just spoke to my mum on the phone and my dad shouted 'hi darling' from the background.....i replied with a 'whatever'!! rude...yes! could I help it...nope! Shock

BummyMummy77 · 14/11/2013 16:06

I've been really short with my Dad. I feel awful after I've spoken to him. I'll make an effort to be nice next time he rings me.

My grumps have gone (for now). I'm bouncing around the house listening to old skool and cleaning. Poor baby is like "what the hell Mum, you've not been off the sofa in a week, now I'm going to fall out!"

TwoTearsInABucket · 14/11/2013 20:14

baby boy born 10.25 this mornin. 7 hour labour, two stitches. Boy won't wake to feed tho. Boo.

CuteLittleToes · 14/11/2013 20:56

StormBird · 14/11/2013 21:18

ems1910 · 14/11/2013 21:28

Signing in here, think I am allowed? 38+1.

Not sure I will be able to keep up with it though, must be a very fast moving board! Congratulations to TwoTears!

So many cramps and backache, wet but it's not waters (well, I assume it isn't, I have been checking). Generally all a bit grim but hey ho!

BummyMummy77 · 14/11/2013 22:03

Congrats two tears. :D

BunInMyOven93 · 15/11/2013 09:52

isitme1 · 15/11/2013 09:56

Just want to say good luck to you all.
We had a thread like this 4months ago and it helped with the waiting game!

BummyMummy77 · 15/11/2013 12:03

Ug! After all afternoon and evening of cramps then contractions and awful back pain it all stopped.

I swear dh thinks I'm putting it on. :(

HMT13 · 15/11/2013 12:29

Ah bummymummy I was exactly the same as you yesterday. And now nothing. I'm so frustrated! Due date is tomorrow so not overdue yet I suppose. Really thought something was happening though Confused

BummyMummy77 · 15/11/2013 13:44

It's SO frustrating isn't it?!

I'm 10 days over so this is taking the piss now!
