Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
TwoTearsInABucket · 11/11/2013 16:52

Yes, 18th as well! Although at the dating scan she said I was six days ahead but didn't change the due date as it wasn't seven days ahead!
Dunno if that makes a difference now...
Have you had any twinges cute?

Fakebook · 11/11/2013 19:06

Thank You everyone! We're both home safe and well and I'm patiently waiting for some soup DH is making. I'm absolutely starving. Dd2 (wow! I have 2 Dd's!) isn't latching on. Absolutely new territory for me as both my other 2 had no problems breastfeeding. I've tried everything but she's just not interested, so I'm worried she's hungry. Anyway, don't want to bore you! Oh although I will mention I didn't tear this time! That's a big accomplishment for me!

TwoTears (welcome!) and GreenGiant, Squatting is like when you do a wee behind the bushes in the park. A bit like a frog hop. Put your hands on the ground and bob up and down. Or sit on a small exercise ball and put your knees on the ground and kind of roll the ball with your bum. I did this a lot in the last few weeks whilst watching TV.

TwoTearsInABucket · 11/11/2013 20:16

fake how lovely to be home already! Did you tear before? I tore last time, a 3b tear, so I am heartened to hear your news! I hope DD2 eats something soon.
Thanks for the explanation of the squatting. I haven't been doing anything apart from lie on the sofa so I best start soon Smile

StormBird · 11/11/2013 22:42

congrats Fake. such lovely news.

These Braxton hicks / early contractions or whatever you call em.......i know they are meant to feel like tightening across the top of your bump but can they be accompanied by sharp shooting pains up your fanjo Grin and the distinct feel baby is trying to push her way out?? the pain was enough to stop me in my track!

I had exactly this a few hrs ago....lasted about an hr or so and now nothing. I had none if this with dc1!

StormBird · 11/11/2013 22:44

I should mention this all kicked off after an mw appointment...she was a little bit heavy handed when feeling my bump!

NovemberAli · 11/11/2013 23:02

Congratulations Fakebook! Glad to hear you're home and doing well - my DD1 wouldn't latch on for first couple of days. I gave her colostrum from beaker and syringe and expressed for a week (offering boob first then bottle) till she got the hang of it. I'm sure she'll be guzzling soon!

Fingers crossed you're not waiting too much longer Bummy and Greengiant, sounds like you're both really suffering.

Stormbird- I've never been sure what are BH, stretching pains or early contractions either I don't think I had any last time but can't be sure! Baby is very active tonight hopefully warming up for labour!

Welcome two tears!

gubbinsy · 12/11/2013 09:17

Well turns out my stop start was actually labour - baby born yesterday morning at 7.50am. Hoping to go home today if I can manage to persuade my bladder to wee on its own! Good luck to you all still waiting.

GreenGiant3 · 12/11/2013 09:31

Congratulations Gubbinsy!

BummyMummy77 · 12/11/2013 13:14

Whoop whoop Gubbins! Congrats lady.

I threw up in my sleep last night. I could have bloody choked to death! This little minion needs to get out!

How's everyone else this morning? Sending positive vibes.

gubbinsy · 12/11/2013 13:39

Really hope it all goes well green. Thanks all - boy appears to have developed appetite of a beast!

Hope you don't mind me muscling in - I'm due on Mon 18th and feel more than ready now!

TwoTearsInABucket · 12/11/2013 20:41

ush hello! I also due on 18th.

I've been really uncomfortable all day. Lots of tightening and lower back ache. I think the baby has dropped as lots of bladder pressure.
I'm hoping nothing happens tonight as I am knackered!

Tiredsparrow · 13/11/2013 01:23

I was due on the 9th, so 40 weeks + 3

I'm exhausted!!

I would very much like it if this baby made an appearance soon. no sign of him moving at all - must be comfy.

GreenGiant3 · 13/11/2013 09:25

D-Day for me today!! 40+10 and baby's time to be evicted!! ShockSmile Come 3pm il be in hospital having my first pessary inserted. So nervous but very excited, praying it works first time!! Envy

ushuaia · 13/11/2013 09:27

Ooooh exciting twotears! Do you know what you're having? How are you this am? My back has been in agony the last couple of days :(

When are you seeing your mw tiredsparrow?

TwoTearsInABucket · 13/11/2013 10:08

Good luck green!

Was up at hospital last night because of raised bp. Going to drs now to get it checked again. Lots of tightenings and lower back ache. How are you ush?

sparrow hope something happens soon x

CuteLittleToes · 13/11/2013 10:48

Congrats gubbinsy on your baby! Thanks

Didn't quite have time to check in yesterday - poor DP off sick with bad cold. He's staying home today too.

Welcome ushuaia, I'm due on 18th as well! Not a lot going on though, getting lots of BH, but been having them since 20 weeks, so don't see them as anything exciting... Have an odd period cramp in the morning and in the evening, but they are not painful at all and I could really easily not even notice them... I think baby is getting lower though. MW appointment next Wed so we'll see then!

Good luck green on your induction, hope you'll be cuddling your little one tonight!

GreenGiant3 · 13/11/2013 11:19

Thank you all, will update later Smile x

Fakebook · 13/11/2013 12:05

Congratulations Gubbinsy!

Good luck for today GreenGiant! Very exciting!

TwoTears, backache sounds good!

ushuaia · 13/11/2013 14:46

Thanks cute! Another 18th, how exciting :)

Just been out or a walk with the dog and I felt like an old lady! Could barely walk, backache is soooo painful and very low down. Lots of tightenings today but not painful, am now getting impatient! How'd you get on at drs twotears?

BummyMummy77 · 13/11/2013 16:10

Good luck Green! Everything crossed.

41 weeks today. Fuck this.

GreenGiant3 · 13/11/2013 19:23

Thanks ladies! Just had the pessary inserted so hopefully not much longer cx
