Welcome ladies, new and old. Grin May we all have dull and boring pregnancies. Pull up a chair, crack open a bottle of (non-alcoholic) wine and settle in for mutual handholding, fishslapping and neurosis.

Worst news - I've had another mmc - at 10 weeks this time. So am currently sat in epu. Devastated.

kjh5 · 11/09/2013 11:24

Saggy I'm already a 34HH and up until three weeks ago they still pointed upwards... that is no longer the case. I'm HORRIFIED mine are getting bigger, I fear they'll be down by my knees by Christmas. (Needless to say DH is loving this - sigh) I'm so glad to hear people have stuck with underwired bras, I have one style that is super comfortable and goes up to a J cup. Maybe I can just swing around in those for the rest of the pregnancy without going monoboob...

I can't believe I actually feel human today, I was convinced I was going to be vomiting every time I had a glass of water for the next four weeks. On the bright side, I have lost 6lbs and now fit into the dress I was going to wear to the wedding on Friday which I was unable to zip up previously. On the down side I actually have to go to work today, I was so enjoying lying on the couch watching shitty tv when I wasn't throwing up Buffy was a big featue Kat, I love that show. I feel guilty about lying about why I was off (said I had a stomach bug) but I really don't want to tell anyone else about the pregnancy until the 12week scan...

Speaking of which - good luck today Forester and holding thumbs for you tomorrow saggy, loving the posifrickintivity xxx

Welcome little! This is definitely a good place to be

kjh5 · 11/09/2013 11:27

Oh Forester cross posts... I'm so devastated for you. Have you got someone with you for support? Sending you lots of love and hugs. Do they know why it happened? Sometimes it helps to know. Truly, truly sorry xxxx

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 11/09/2013 11:30

Oh Forester! Words cannot express how sorry I am. How absolutely and utterly awful. All my love to you, and a thorough {{{{hug}}}}.

Oh Forrester I am so so sorry! I have also had 2 MMCs (not in a row) and even though the first one was more shocking, the second one was equally devastating and scary... I couldn't believe it had happened again (it was almost exactly a year ago - Sept.13th). I really feel for you and can imagine how devastated you are (actually not imagine, I know - I was in your shoes a year ago). Please be kind to yourself... thinking of you Thanks

Thundercatsarego · 11/09/2013 12:18

Forrester I am so sorry to read your news. This is so unfair. I hope you have love and support around you, as you have on this thread. Take time and look after yourself.

PoppySeedBun · 11/09/2013 12:23

forester I'm so so sorry. Just the sh*ttiest news.
I don't think anything else I can say will help. We're all here if you want to rant or moan or (virtually) cry.
Had my scan today at the same place I had MMC diagnosed so was petrified of this. Fortunately all fine, but I'm sorry not the same for you.

Take care of yourself. Flowers

impatientlywaiting · 11/09/2013 12:25

So sorry Forrester, such heartbreaking news. Thinking of you

Chocolateteabag · 11/09/2013 12:26

So so sorry Forester - hope you have lots of support in RL. It's so unfair to have one MMC never mind two in a row. Thinking of you xx

Rockchick1984 · 11/09/2013 12:26

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 11/09/2013 14:27

Oh fucking hell. 1/5 chance of Downs. fucking fucking fuck fuck.

Rockchick1984 · 11/09/2013 14:30

I'm sorry Saggy Thanks but try to stay positive - that men's 80% chance of everything being fine! Have you decided what to do, will you have further testing? Are they able to rule out Edwards/Turners/any other issues or would you need further tests for those too?

Rockchick1984 · 11/09/2013 14:31

Means not men's!

Pentagon · 11/09/2013 14:37

oh saggy I'm sorry to hear this...awful day - bad news all around. Are you thinking of having further testing?

Pentagon · 11/09/2013 14:42

poppy I forgot to say: glad you had some good news today - congratulations!
