kjh Sad about spotting, I hope its nothing to worry about. Are you off to epu today? sure you will be ok. Maybe lay off the workouts for a bit until you're past 12wks?

motor yay fab news. so pleased for you and really need to adopt your 'enjoy the pregnancy from here on' approach. I'm still struggling to tell people just in case.

I'm so jammy, after lots of Sunday moaning about my newly extended working week (to 4 days which isn't even full time anyway!) I have done a whole 1 day but working from home today as only mw appointment I could get this wk was today. I flipping love working from home, DH just brought me breakfast in bed and I will roll out to shower and log in at 8:45 beats a 6:40 alarm and packed train commute Grin

gary keep forgetting to say Alexander is lovely Smile it is such a classy name. My friend has an Alexander and he is just the cutest. They haven't shortened it at all and it really suits him.

kjh5 · 03/09/2013 08:25

Hi Kat I'm just on my way to EPU now. No more bleeding thank goodness but have had cramping which is probably normal so I hope they don't think I'm wasting their time but I haven't slept all night for worrying so more of a reassurance trip than anything else!

BlackholesAndRevelations · 03/09/2013 08:41

Oh kjh thinking of you, hope all is well xx

JanieLovesLuckySocks · 03/09/2013 08:50

Kjh I've got everything crossed for you, xx

Pixie I dreeeeam of being able to work from home but no chance for me boohoo! On a plus, I also got breakfast in bed this morning!! I'm usually first up but DH was up early to check all the football transfers (yaaaawn) so had tea and cereal for me waiting when I got out of the shower! I nearly collapsed in shock ha!!

Swangirl · 03/09/2013 08:54

Kjh I hope all goes well with the scan thinking of you

kjh fingers crossed that all goes well this morning and they can reassure you x

Thanks for the tips ladies - will check out ranitidine to see if it's pg friendly and saggy that's really interesting (and annoying!!) about mint tea! It's the only herbal tea in free supply at work! I shall have to revert to hot water and lemon instead. kat will try some wind-eliminating acrobatics too - though now you've suggested that, I'm a bit nervous about Pilates this evening! Hadn't thought about it before but what if it all comes out mid-pose...Shock

WhatWillSantaBring · 03/09/2013 09:31

Oh, KJH not a nice night or start to the day. Fingers crossed for you my love.

Well done motor and kat - hopefully you can start to relax a bit and enjoy pregnancy now not bloody likely, the secret unspoken truth is that pregnancy after mc is horrid all the way through

Welcome to impatiently - we're all nuts here. What I think is particularly nice is that everyone is at different stages, from actual babies all the way to the just got the bfps. So you'll always find someone who has either been there and got the batshit crazy t-shirt or you'll be able to support someone who is going through what you've already survived.

I have a stinking horrible cold, that has gone on for a week now. I'm in so much pain in my sinuses - I'm being a bit naughty and taking the sudafed nasal spray but can't use it past tomorrow (7 days maximum). I'm actually debating using some sudafed today... most of the research says its "probably" ok after 12 weeks. Worst cold I've ever had and I can't take the drugs I normally take!!!

omri · 03/09/2013 09:41

Fingers crossed kjh hope all goes well xx let us know how you get on.
I had pink spotting at your stage too and it was nothing. Hope it the same for you.

Rockchick1984 · 03/09/2013 09:46

Santa although sudafed eases the symptoms my dr told me it can actually make a cold last longer - the mucus is basically your body expelling the germs so if you stop that, you retain the germs longer!

Birds I currently swear by Holland and Barrett strawberry probiotic tablets, I'm no longer bloated since having them. If its any consolation though for Pilates my mum used to be a yoga teacher and she said it was unusual to go a full class without someone emitting gas from one end or the other Grin

Good luck Kjh Thanks

kjh5 · 03/09/2013 09:48

We have a heartbeat! And the baby is in the right place and wriggling around. The midwife was so lovely and did not make me feel like a crazy hypochondriac. Feel a bit stupid for being such a drama queen now - was convinced it was the start of another MC - but so so happy that DH and I got to see the wriggler on the screen, although I was crying so much by that stage it is all a bit of a blur. Measuring exactly 7+1 so the dates are spot on. EDD 21st April.

Thank you so much for the support. You are all wonderful. Today we are pregnant!

Swangirl · 03/09/2013 09:51

Kjh5 That's wonderful news Lets hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful

Rockchick1984 · 03/09/2013 09:52

Fantastic news!!!

impatientlywaiting · 03/09/2013 09:53

Yes KJH that's brilliant news. Bet you are so relieved now.

PoppySeedBun · 03/09/2013 09:59

kjhwonderful news! So please d'you got to see the bean and that all is well. Grin
Such a great run of scans this week - congrats on great news for kat and motor too.
Anyone else got one booked for this week?
All this positivity has persuaded me to book an early scan. Trying to book a private scan for next week - if they'll ever pick up the phone. Hmm

Pixielady83 · 03/09/2013 10:08

kjh hooray! brilliant they saw you so quickly and all ok.

impatiently welcome!

janie yay for breakfast in bed, he must have been pleased with the transfer results Grin

Pixielady83 · 03/09/2013 10:17

Any march ladies still feeling sick? I really hadn't been until last week but seems that its pretty constant since then. I think its because I'm more tired but so bored of it. I want to feel all glowy! Asked a friend about whether she felt good in her 2nd trimester with her 2nd baby and she said she got maybe 3 weeks in between feeling crap from sickness and then crap from feeling big and sore. Great! Hmm On the plus side my hips are feeling ok again apart from some pretty clunky clicks now and again so really hoping it was 1st trimester stretching causing pain.

MotorcycleMama · 03/09/2013 11:19

Great news kjh you can relax a bit now and enjoy the fact that you are pregnant.

Meerkat8 · 03/09/2013 11:26

BumpKitty · 03/09/2013 13:19

Ace news kjh I'm very happy for you :)

Welcome impatient and meerkat and congratulations!

Well I'm having the day from hell at work, hurry up 23rd October! When are you finishing shell? I think if I hope for an early one it will turn up in half term when I have DD at home and DH at work Grin

Pentagon · 03/09/2013 14:04

kat, motor and kjh congratulations on your good scans! Wonderful news, so happy for you!

I found out yesterday that an acquaintance of mine (who I really like and wish I knew better) is nearly 20 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 after trying for over a year and 1 MC - it really made my day! Until I tried putting DD to bed and she became hysterical...I've never seen her like this - I got so upset and worried that something is wrong Sad But she was her usual happy self this morning - so relieved!

impatient & meerkat welcome and congrats on your BFPs! Wishing you both successful and stress-free pregnancies!

shell yay for 30 weeks - can you ask for an induction at 37 weeks if you're in so much pain?

janie my DH never brings me breakfast in bed, I'm jealous!

BumpKitty · 03/09/2013 14:25

Whoops sorry shell I forgot you had been signed off. Too much going on for me today! X
