Shell have you started on the raspberry leaf tea/pills (or whatever it is), I vaguely think someone somewhere in my life said you actually have to start on it quite early and then up the dosage more and more the closer you get to DD. sorry that's probably not helpful as I don't actually know the facts!!! Smile

Ooh raspberry leaf tea.... I wrote a note about this somewhere from what shell told me.... Do I need to start this yet? 29 weeks now, whoop!

Anyone else flipping exhausted? Monday is the worst. Going to be such a mission getting to the end of the week!

Raspberry leaf tea - I started one cup a day at 32 weeks and added an extra cup each week when I was pregnant last time. DS born on his due date, and only took 6 hours from first contraction to 10cm dilated despite him being back to back so I am definitely going to do the same again this time!

Am so sleepy today - DS has decided that sleeping should only be done during the day, so is keeping me and DH up all night - he's nearly 3 FGS, its driving me insane!

DS2 is now called Alexander, DH got the spelling right & everything. We've now used up all the boys names we agree on so if we ever have a 3rd he'll probably be Boy3.

Re.Raspberry leaf tea. I started raspberry leaf tea at 26wks (one cup a day going up to 4 at 37/38wks), it tastes better if you let it cool & then just gulp it down in one.

Rock, hope DS starts sleeping at night soon, will he respond to bribery?

Hi All, have been reading but not posting for a couple of weeks now. Had my little sister's wedding last week so has been a hectic past 2 weeks. Great day though and great to have all the family together for the few days before and after.

I had a few days last week of pure pessimism thinking oh yeah this baby is gone :( but then spent all of Saturday and Sunday throwing up violently :) yay!! :/

I have my 12 week scan on Friday... scared but excited. Argh the emotional ups and downs are insane!!!

Kat and Motor - very best wishes for your scans today! let us know how you get on.

See I knew I'd got the raspberry thing from somewhere! Can anyone enlighten me; what does it do? I got to fully dilated ok (ha ha - if you can call it that!) but the pushing went on FOREVER and I had the flippin hormone drip which did nowt and eventually venteuse delivery. But I then had a retained placenta which trashed it all as after only having gas and air (which I also appear to be immune to!) I had to have an epidural. I've since read and midwife confirmed that the hormone drip can cause the retained placenta (although it can also have nothing to do with it - don't want to scare anyone!) Most annoying. So, will raspberry leaf tea assist with the pushing stage???? If not anyone else know something that will?

Hey garden It's for the second stage of labour, i took a day Shock to get to 4cm then got to 10cm in abt 6 hours Grin but like you pushed for abt 5 hours and nothing happened so ended up in theatre anyway BUT the MW said the second but was so short cos of the RLT so will defo do it again!
