[Grin] Thanks for the posifrickintivity dust Saggy - I'll take a double dose to get me through to the weekend. I have to admit I got my brood on while we were picnicking in the common yest. Lots of smiling at toddlers and cooing at babies. Even managed to have a non-crying conversation with DH about how we are going to fix up the nursery.

Sympathising with everyone else who had work doom. I'm here now glowering at everybody and wishing I was home in bed... At least it's my Monday so just four more shifts to get through without vomiting on anyone sitting near me until the weekend :)

kjh5 · 01/09/2013 20:50

Martha try not worry about the spotting - I had the same and even an actual bright red bleed right at the beginning but it all stopped and haven't had anything since. Glad tour booking appt is soon. At least you can let the MW know and maybe even get an early scan out of it?

MarthasHarbour · 01/09/2013 21:11

thanks kjh that is reassuring, it did look almost like the start of AF so i was panicking, then i remembered i had this with DS when i was 10wks and was fine.

must-stop googling maternity clothes!

TotalShock · 01/09/2013 23:04

I have the the worst few days of work. Friday couldn't get any details I needed til 1105pm. Then Saturday continued to be crap. Went to bed at 1am ish this morning by the time it was sorted. And just finished my paperwork tonight.

I'm tired!!!

pixie we should definitely be bump buddies!

martha hope your ok, I'm sure you'll be fine fx

tea I have had a lack of symptoms today after feeling terrible for weeks which got my crazy brain going too but keep telling myself at 14+1 that it just the fact Ive made it into the second trimester ? When I had the mmc I had this feeling all along about mmc so I think I work my self up easy

Anyway now booked my 20 week scan in October so something else to start working myself up over!

Hope everyone is well and has had a good weekend x

Pentagon · 02/09/2013 00:14

kat you also have a scan tomorrow - good luck! I totally agree with Rock regarding dreams and intuition post miscarriage...everything feels warped...

kj5, tea, poppy I was exactly the same in the first trimester.: antisocial and a nervous wreck - it was awful. I feel for you but you will get through it and after some good news, it's all forgotten!

saggy cool job and nice boss!

martha again, most likely implantation bleeding. I hope it's stopped now and you're not too worried

I have my first antenatal class tomorrow (NHS). I feel like a fraud since this will be my second baby but it was offered to me and it means time off work so I thought why not? Plus, a refresher is always good!

GardenWorm · 02/09/2013 06:03

Good luck today Kat, what time's your scan? x

Hey Anda, hope all is ok in the Anda family and you are just quiet because you are busy busy busy.

Shell did your first come early? Have my fingers crossed for you that this one doesn't keep you waiting beyond DD, hope things are a little easier for you without work to worry about?

Lucky was it you that had the bleed? (sorry, can't check mid post writing on phone) Fingers are crossed that's the last of them. Same for you Martha x

....I HATE MONDAY'S!

Hi Kat, good luck for today. I really hope its good news. I've no idea what OPK sticks would show at this stage, but would not read anything into a result without knowing. I think today will be tough whatever we say. Are you working from home? Keeping everything crossed for you and hoping for the best. xx

Motor, i think you have a scan today too? Hope you survived the weekend. Will be thinking of you too. Good luck. xx

Rockchick1984 · 02/09/2013 07:21

Kat how far along are you? I hope this comes out reassuring (as that's how it's meant) but it takes weeks for a pregnancy test to turn negative following a miscarriage, after my ERPC I was getting positives for around a month so I really wouldn't read anything into what an ov stick tells you - they aren't even accurate as pregnancy tests apparently! Even if things had gone wrong, a pregnancy test at this stage would still be positive so stop stressing - today you are pregnant, 8.5 hours til your scan!

GaryBuseysTeeth · 02/09/2013 07:32

Good luck Kat.
I poas (ovulation sticks) for 2 wks after my bfp. I did one just cos a few weeks before i gave birth n it was negative, so plz try not to worry about it!

at everyone. Dh is registering Ds2 today, we're not 100% on a name....

Thank you all again for the reassurance, the bleeding stopped last night and i am feeling a bit 'weird' this morning so am thinking all is good in the Harbour household. I already have scan doom and its still a week away! Sad
You'll be ok, it's not long now. {{{hug}}}

Good luck for the scans today Kat and Motor thinking of you both!

step away from the tests Kat! Although I know how awful it is just wanting to know right now whether everything is going to be ok. Not too much longer to go now. Hope you are keeping yourself busy. Hugs
