omri great news, you must feel so relieved! And I bet it's made the wait for the 12-week scan more bearable!

dirty welcome and congratulations! Wishing you a good, uneventful pregnancy!

rock I hope everything went well today!

birds, omri I had the same type of discharge in the first trimester - pretty much every day...

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 22/08/2013 20:26

Yep. Normal here too Omri. I'm glad to hear everything is ok.

BumpKitty · 22/08/2013 20:47

birds apparently the yellow discharge is due to the mucous plug forming - so it's a good sign Grin

Hope you're ok rock have been thinking about you.

Forester · 22/08/2013 20:58

Hello to Poppy, Rock and Dirtyface - congratulations on your bfp's.

I've spent the last couple of days trying and failing to get a date for my 12 week scan - I'm 9+3 at the moment. I think the paperwork is moving around correctly - just very slowly - it was last tuesday that I went to the Doctors. I will call the hospital again on Tuesday and will be on here for advice if they can't give me a date then! In either case when I see the midwife (I haven't got a date for that either but they've said they've got the paperwork) I'm going to say that given I had a MMC last time around it would be helpful to have a bit more support at this early stage (when I've never been so stressed).

On the positive side I seem to be inching past the time I had a MMC last time.

Anyway must go for my guilty telly fix - Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model!

PoppySeedBun · 22/08/2013 21:09

Hi dirty - yes, I think mc s are more common with twins - that's what we were told at the scan.

Rockchick1984 · 22/08/2013 21:41

Sorry for such a late update! Scan perfect... Eventually! Long story short I got the time wrong, managed to miss the appointment, got in a tizzy as they can't scan me now til tomorrow and DH can't be there. Managed to get a private scan done at 8pm, it was all perfect though and NHS scan tomorrow at 2pm for official use! Date moved to 1st March, so am 12+5 today. Such a wriggly baby, strong heartbeat (150bpm, apparently very good?) and all the measurements look fine!

TotalShock · 22/08/2013 21:48

Oh rock I'm so pleased. Was getting nervous not hearing from you!!!!

PoppySeedBun · 22/08/2013 21:51

Congratulations, rock - great news! Today you are very definitely pregnant!

YAY rock very pleased to hear your good news! That's brilliant!! Does the date change mean you're a bit further on than you thought you were? (If so - happy days!)

pentagon, saggy, omri and bump that's very reassuring! Thank you Smile will feel pleased rather than worried about it now!

Pentagon · 22/08/2013 22:18

yay, congratulations Rock! Sorry you had to deal with the stress of the mix-up but hey, 2 scans in 2 days: you know all is well and will see your baby again tomorrow Grin

Pumpkin & Pixie good luck with your scans tomorrow!

Rockchick1984 · 22/08/2013 22:18

Little private scan place, turns out my sister knows the owner and because they are lovely they let me have an appointment at the end of the day (think she told them I was having a meltdown, I cried so much I've burst a load of blood vessels under my eyes) so they agreed to see me after the last appointment of the day - did a full dating scan and wouldn't take any payment!! Have booked in for gender scan there, they were so lovely. My DH and my dad came with me, my dad had never seen a scan before and he cried, was so lovely to share it with him :)

Phew Rockchick! Sounds like a stressful day but with a great outcome. Congratulations and how lovely to see your wriggly baby.

Omri very glad all was well for you today too.

Good luck tomorrow Pixie and Pumkin. Sorry you're by yourself Pumkin but there'll be lots of us thinking of both of you.

I've found the perfect distraction this week, started watching the American House of Cards series. Its great. I find telly a better distraction than reading at mo. Also working my way through back catalogue of Desert Island discs at night. Perfect easy listening/slightly boring insomnia solution.

Bod glad you get to enjoy cake!

RainbowConnections · 22/08/2013 22:57

Oh and welcome and congratulations to dirtyface and forester. x

kjh5 · 22/08/2013 22:59
