Right then! Come here if you are 4-12 weeks and can't stop fretting. Didn't think anything could be worse than the 2WW? Think again!

Beetle I've had that exact feeling for the last 7 weeks! And mine is definitely not ectopic. There's all sorts going on in there, so try not to worry. Your HCG was doubling nicely, which doesn't suggest ectopic. Hurrah for poo gate!!

An beetle he is trying to reassure you. Those weird twinges are fine, not ectopic. Just ligaments stretching and stuff. X

NoMaybeAboutIt · 22/08/2013 08:44

Beetle I really am sure you're ok. Especially seen as the doc isn't worried Smile

Grin at horse shit!!!

PramQueen1971 · 22/08/2013 10:49

Cutie, do you want me to come over there and feed you to a shark? You are not having an ectopic pregnancy just a nervous breakdown

As Jim Royle would say: "organic veg my arse!"

PramQueen1971 · 22/08/2013 11:13

Where is Nook? She's like Will-o'-the-wisp!

I love the royal family!!! Jiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmmm

I'm working from home today thank god. It's so hot here. Had to walk 4 miles to get my booking bloods done, as they won't do them at the surgery!

PramQueen1971 · 23/08/2013 12:36

I love Cheryl from The Royle Family.

Just done a two-hour shift at the charity shop with 'Joan'. Bloody hilarious. Love her.

Crikey, Marbe! 4 hours?!

My nausea is the worst it has ever been; it's precluding any chance of sleep at night and I'm actually becoming miserable with it.

must be grateful..must be grateful..must be grateful...

PramQueen1971 · 23/08/2013 12:37

Cutie, is the one-sided bikini ache still there?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/08/2013 13:39

Oh Pram, not good! Did you eat something strange last night? It's horrible when it keeps you awake.

'Go oh Cheryl, have a penguin'

'thanks barb'

Love them. Love them all. One of mine and my dads favourites!

Amazing Beetle!! Poor Cheryl was always on a diet Grin. My niggles get worse after walking. Definitely think it's just your ligaments relaxing!!

Wimwom · 23/08/2013 21:11

beetle I've also had one sided pains pretty much constantly since ec... Worse since et, and ongoing. They feel like period pains. I booked in with my GP on wed and mentioned it to her (not that I think she knows much!) and she said common - and she had it through first part of all her pregnancies. So with a rising and normal hcg this was nothing to worry about...
Booking in was weird - is anyone else high risk because IVF (I don't mind - just wondered) and will the midwife have any idea with all the drugs I'm on what to do?

Hello to all - happy bank hols! Anyone up to anything nice?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/08/2013 21:40

I'm high risk Wim but hoping to be discharged once I've seen the consultant as there's no other reason for me to be high risk. I'm quite annoyed by it as I want to give birth in the midwife unit and have a water birth. But the midwife said it should be fine.

I was very weirded out by booking in. I'm not quite sure why! I don't really think midwives know all that much about IVF and the different drugs. I'm counting down the days till I can come off mine!

MotorcycleMama · 24/08/2013 08:20

How are you feeling pram? I hope the nausea is more manageable now. I have to say that although I would have really appreciated feeling sick as a reassurance that I am pregnant, I think I have been very lucky to have avoided it so far.

maybe it is scary how just a bit of exercise can knock you out isn't it? Last week I walked 11 miles in the countryside and was absolutely exhausted! I didn't want to complain (I was with DH and other family) but I really don't think people understand how much your energy is reduced in the early stages of pregnancy. Everybody is used to me running 10ks and doing hefty mountain hikes so it does take some adjustment.

beetle I would imagine your one-sided pain is ligaments stretching - I had it for the first few weeks, but not recently. Hope you are not too anxious about it.

Hi wim - how are you doing? nobody has actually said that I am "high risk" but as I have been sent an appt with a consultant obstetrician I think I must be classed as that. Whether it is IVF, advanced age, history of miscarriage, I don't know. I'll take as much attention as they will give me, to be honest. It makes me feel safer.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 24/08/2013 11:25

It's amazing Motor I've gone from running 50k a week to being breathless walking the dog!! Have joined the gym today though. My friend is a PT so she has made me a pregnancy plan to keep me safe, so feel better for that!

How is everyone on this disgusting day?!

MotorcycleMama · 24/08/2013 13:56

That's great having a PT friend maybe - well done for joining the gym. I belong to a gym, but haven't been there for months now. I am going to start going to body pump again to try to stay toned and will do light cardio (speed walking rather than running) to try to stay fit. Trouble is I'm so bloody knackered!

I'm doing okay. My mum has just left after spending a couple of days here, so it was nice to see her. Minimal plans really - we just subscribed to sky sports, so I'll be watching a football match later (L'pool v Aston Villa I think). I'm feeling a bit more confident after the last scan, but don't want to jinx anything. Next one a week on Monday. I've been having mad and very vivid dreams the past few nights - I wondered whether it is due to a reduction in the oestrogen tablets, as I am weaning off them now.

How's everybody else?

PramQueen1971 · 24/08/2013 14:27

Feeling good thanks, ladies, and yes, Motor, I am grateful for sickness reassurance but I didn't expect to feel quite so debilitated with it. I do eat through it and immediately regret it. Apples are my salvation as they are truly the only thing that rinses the palate from that Alsatian-shat-in-my-mouth feeling. I can become breathless from sheer nausea very late at night and that makes me feel a little vulnerable when the world is asleep.

Just to encourage those feeling pains: right up until my twelfth week I experience stabbing; needle-pricks; localised stretching; and bikini line aches (exactly like pre-AF).

Also, I thought my fears and anxieties would dissipate at week 12 - they haven't Hmm Although, I must admit, there is a definite feeling of calm when I dwell on the significance of reaching that particular milestone. We will all get there and we will all be fine Smile

NoMaybeAboutIt · 24/08/2013 14:31

Wise words prambo. Sorry the nausea is still so awful.

Motor I always used to be a gym bunny, but quit to focus on my running. But I don't trust myself to run, I always push too hard. So I figure having a training plan will help!!

My next scan is Thursday. Feeling panicked already. I too have been having the weirdest dreams!!

PramQueen1971 · 24/08/2013 15:48

Marbie, we are scanning on the same day (29th?) Mine is the official dating scan and 'll be 13+2. You'll be 10+3, am I right?

PramQueen1971 · 24/08/2013 15:48

Mine's at 11.50, when is yours?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 24/08/2013 18:23

10+4 Pramela, I'm up at midday!! Hand hold?!
