rainbow we watched the trailer for that at my NCT class - it looked lovely!

blackholes perinatal morbidity rates increase after 38+0 so I desperately want to have them before then. The guidelines recommend between 37 and 38 weeks so that's what I'm going to fight for tomorrow. I really hate confrontation so I'm really not looking forward to it (and I woke up this morning with pre-scan doom)

ibip 38w is two weeks tomorrow, so yes, hopefully in the next two weeks. Terrified. Was having lower back pain and lower stomach pain that was coming and going earlier tonight and I just sat there thinking 'I'm not ready yet, I don't have a birth plan, and I don't know whether I'm have an ELCS or not'!!

Thunder isn't on that list.

Welcome kjh and congratulations. And fantastic scan news today- brilliant! Not sure about fudge or knowing exactly what I want- mostly I find I'm eating about 12 times a day otherwise I get really nauseous and I'm not really enjoying any of the food! What a waste of eating!

Oh Anda how exciting. I had completely missed that you were 36 weeks when posting from your holiday. Its a busy thread, takes a while to see where everyone is at. I think its good you're at home now!

anda I'm sure you will surprise yourself with how assertive you can be when it comes to your babies and if they do decide to come before you have a birth plan you will be fine. Do you think they are still in the same positions?

All this talk of fudge and percy pig goodies made me NEED treats tonight. Decided peanut m&ms were the only thing, drive to 3 shops and none had any :( couldn't make my mind up and so got a snickers and maltesers and a flump thinking I'd have just one if the choccy treats. Who was I kidding...hoovered the lot oops.

Oh no saggy it was me being a pussy laying low as I'm still scared witless. I used to be a pretty cheerful, robust person I thought...honest. Thank you for sticking up for me though my friend.

It's funny. It hasn't gone quickly for me at all, but when I think about pentagon and lucky in their third trimesters I can't believe their pregnancies have gone so quickly.

I'm really hoping I won't have to argue tomorrow, but yes, am definitely prepared to. There's no cost implication in me having the babies by 38+0 and it's clinically indicated so hopefully it will be fine - hopefully I'm just being pessimistic. I remember making tomorrow's appt and thinking it was ridiculous because I wouldn't get this far - I was convinced they'd be really premature.

Will let you know how it goes tomorrow.

saggy I know. I understand. I was the same at the beginning of July, even though I was pregnant. In the end it came and went without meltdown incident, and I've finally stopped stalking the 'due in July 2013' ladies. I'm so glad that you and ibip and jmf are here, and hopefully the others will be back soon.

I really hope you're all right about the back ache! Could really do with having a mode of delivery plan first though

Birth plans are over rated! Things never go to plan anyway! Just go with the flow!
Try climbing the stairs sideways. It helps to open the pelvis and get the first head well and truly down.
