Sounds promising to me reebok. I bet you are cuddling your baby by tonight!, im off to the consultant this morning, been having back pain on and off all night, so hopefully something is happening! Will keep you posted.

ZingWidge · 31/07/2013 07:58

sorry ladies, I fell asleep last night in front of tv. I had a great dream about going skiing.

how's everyone this morning?

peacock it's bright red fresh blood that they are concerned with, the brownish stuff is just "old" blood, part of the cervical plug

reebok let's hope this is it and you won't need to be induced.

ZingWidge · 31/07/2013 08:07

tom you as well, I hope this is it!Smile

btw the squatters have been showed the eviction note a few times now - is there a penalty for keep staying in?
or can that be overlooked due to the fact that the offenders can't read just yet?Grin

maybe shouting will help.....no, that's harsh.

how about teasing them with yummy milk? coochie coo, where's the little baby? here baby baby, come out from your hidey hole, your mummies got lovely milky milk for you!
Where's the good little baby? there you are!Wink

Reebok · 31/07/2013 09:55

Still irregular but intensity definately increased from last time I had them. Paracetomol not helping.

HJBeans · 31/07/2013 11:02

Fingers crossed for you, Reebok. Smile

Chuckaluck · 31/07/2013 11:56

Hi all, can I join this lovely little group please? I am 40+3 and fed up! Had a few twinges but nothing that resembles a contraction or show!

Tried DTD on Monday and a curry last night and still nothing! Thinking of clary sage oil in the bath later - has anyone tried this as I have heard some say it should be avoided??

LittleMilla · 31/07/2013 12:40

Reebok - sounds very much like how I started off. Start to time them. I found that mine intensified when I was up and moving around. And then became more regular.

Good luck!

shineypeacock · 31/07/2013 12:43

Just back from hospital, had another sweep from consultant, he says i am 1-2cm dilated, 50% effaced and have bishops score of 5, he has booked me in for induction on Saturday at 40+4 if nothing happens, am feeling much happier and relaxed as i can see the end!

Reebok · 31/07/2013 13:17

Milla you're right. Gets worse when I walk around. How long did yours take to become regular? I'm exhausted already

LittleMilla · 31/07/2013 13:29

I woke up at 2.30am and we first went to hospital at 11am. Sent home (was expected tbh) at 1.30 then waters broke at 2.15pm which is when everything really went crazy. Has ds2 at 5.15pm.

I was started to tire after about 12 hours. When I went to have a 'rest' that's when my waters broke. MW at hospital gave me a sweep before sending me home which could've sped things up.

Good luck x

ZingWidge · 31/07/2013 13:32

peacock that's good news! I'm glad you are feeling calmer.

reebok
do you think this is it? I really hope so! fx
walking around is good, but if you feel tired please try to have rest - and I don't mean sleep, necessarily.

I used to prefer to kneel on the floor on a cushion but lean over the seat of a chair (as I had SPD and walking was painful), so I was still upright, but using up less energy.

I wonder if the gentle tempting with milk worked..Grin

come on babies, be good to your mums and get out!Wink

HJBeans · 31/07/2013 14:20

Boo hiss, cervix too high for a sweep. Try again with mw on Monday. Booked in for induction next Friday if nothing kicks off sooner. Good at least to have an end date.

Glad things looking up for you, peacock.

Any news, reebok?

Reebok · 31/07/2013 14:42

I'm exhausted 8 hours of pain so far and still not regular.

TomDaleysTrunks · 31/07/2013 17:15

Keep going reebok.
Also had a sweep, cervix softer but otherwise unchanged. Angry

ZingWidge · 31/07/2013 17:40

just want to tell you all that when thread gets to about 990 posts I'll link a new one for you all.

fx for all of you!

Reebok · 31/07/2013 18:14

In hospital...in antenatal ward because I'm not dilated enough for delivery ward. 2cm dilated and cervix soft. Contractions every few mins n on gas n air. Lot of
Pain.

LittleMilla · 31/07/2013 18:20

Hang on in there reebok and try to stay calm. I found the more relaxed I was the less it hurt. Every time I got uptight and forgot to breathe it hurt like hell.

Your baby is coming and so you need to trust your body to do its stuff.

Big hugs and back rubs. Xxx

ZingWidge · 31/07/2013 18:36

reebok time to ask for that epidural?

good luck sweetie, you can do it. and it will so worth it!Smile

TomDaleysTrunks · 31/07/2013 19:04

Keep going reebok. Glad you've got gas and air. Don't be afraid to ask or epidural.

Think I'm the only original left Sad

shineypeacock · 31/07/2013 19:11
