How are you getting along??

Eeeep. My waters just 'went'. Wow. There's no mistaking that is there GrinGrinGrin
Hope she'll come today and start another run of 3!
Cogito, reebok, waves etc, how are you all doing?

TomDaleysTrunks · 26/07/2013 06:05

Grin pFE, your baby is coming.

. Hope those in latent /early labour got some rest.

wavesandsmiles · 26/07/2013 06:13

How exciting remembering!!! Not long for you now then Grin

I managed sleep (thank you codeine) and now wide awake and wondering if baby waves will appear this side of my due date....

RememberingMyPFEs · 26/07/2013 06:18

waves we've been due date buddies throughout - hopefully we can be birth date buddies too. Sending you positive labour vibes Thanks

wavesandsmiles · 26/07/2013 06:25

Vibes for a lovely birth being sent back to you as well remembering Thanks

I am definitely having contractions still, but not lasting long enough. Avoiding codeine in the hope that proper labour is imminent, and will resort to it only should tonight rock around with the same pain levels...

Reebok · 26/07/2013 07:57

Great news remembering. Good luck!

I didn't sleep again. Kept up by the awful pain once again. It seems that whenever I think I'm ok and close my eyes, pain kicks in.

How are you doing Tom, Waves, Marushka?

TomDaleysTrunks · 26/07/2013 08:23

Sorry you are so sore reebok. All fine here, not much going on.
39+6

TomDaleysTrunks · 26/07/2013 08:24

Really glad you got some sleep waves.

Reebok · 26/07/2013 08:30

Hopefully soon Tom....40+4 today :(

Keep getting this awful pushing/almost burning pain on my opening every time I go pee. Like something is trying to push out. Does that make sense? It's awful and makes peeing hard as I stupidly feel like I'm going to push my baby into the loo. Anyone else get this? Pls tell me I'm not mad!

ZingWidge · 26/07/2013 08:35

reebok talk to the midwife please.

remember how exciting

all the rest of you - it's in the air! sending you more cervix dilating vibes! (I never thought I'd write a sentence like that!Grin )

Reebok · 26/07/2013 08:46

Not exactly burning while you pee sensation but a sort of heaviness that feels like too much to hold. Ok zing will call later. Thanks.

ZingWidge · 26/07/2013 08:53

ok reebok stand up.

now put your hand on top of your belly. does it feel lower down?

now turn sideways in front of a mirror. does your belly look like it's lower down?

I wonder if baby's head has dropped.
you will feel pressure, sort of heavier down below.
is it like that?

Reebok · 26/07/2013 08:56

Yep...and I get the urge to pee once more the moment I stand although I went 5 mins ago. Top of my bump feels flatter! Makes me feel slightly thinner until I look at the rest of my stomach.

ZingWidge · 26/07/2013 09:19

yep, baby's head dropped for sure, the pressure of head causes the pain.
also his/her body may have turned in a way that it now puts pressure on your bladder.

very good my lass! very exciting! yay!

ZingWidge · 26/07/2013 10:59

any updates?

[impatient]

Isitme1 · 26/07/2013 11:00

Twin that hurts.

Zing is right once again
Thats brill news on the waters!

Will see what dr says

marushka82 · 26/07/2013 11:09

Hey, nothing new here, baby is really lazy today and moving less which is really worrying me. Should I call the hospital?

marushka82 · 26/07/2013 11:11

of course the moment I posted it she kicked, whew!

ZingWidge · 26/07/2013 11:27

phew marushka good babySmile

but don't forget if baby's facing your spine you won't feel kicks.

although if you are worried always always get checked.

I think reebok is in labour. I hope.

come on babies, it's Friday!
"Friday's child is loving and giving.." - what more do you need?Wink

RememberingMyPFEs · 26/07/2013 11:29

6 hours in and I'm progressing nicely - contractions every 7-8 mins lasting 45/50 sec. Managing with hypnobirthing breathing and a bit of Geordie grit so far Wink
Hope everyone else is doing ok Thanks

Reebok · 26/07/2013 11:47

No I'm not in labour unfortunately but managed to have a teeny tiny nap. Got slightly more energy now.

Ooh sounds promising remembering!

Aww poor twin! That's very low!!

ZingWidge · 26/07/2013 11:51

well done remember!

good you had a nap reebok

wavesandsmiles · 26/07/2013 12:52

Good news remembering and glad the nap gave you energy reebok. My contractions are still a bit erratic but getting stronger. Also using hypnobirthing techniques here, but the distraction of my squabbling DCs and animals is quite helpful too Smile

TMI overload close your eyes if averse to bodily function descriptions, but I have had diarrhoea all morning, definite brownish/red discharge and either my waters have started leaking or I have a combination of thick coloured discharge and trickly discharge Confused Anyway, things are certainly happening "down there".

RememberingMyPFEs · 26/07/2013 14:21

Off to the birth suite - surges 3-4ins apart an quite intense now

marushka82 · 26/07/2013 14:22

Good luck Remembering! So exciting! (where are my contractions, grrr?!?)
