I'm due on the 17th...2nd baby and so excited. Currently in slow labour so contractions in the evening completely irregular and turning into a disappointing nothing!!!
How are you getting along??

Reebok I'm having very similar and also concerned about timing.

Stomach hardens every 8 mins or so but pain constant

I'm having lower back pain every 6 mins (approx)

I wish I knew whether it was contractions. I'm just trying to sleep through it and it's not working.

Not helped by roadworks going on incredibly loudly outside.

they will tell you what to do.

Any news?

Not from me. Been in pain most of the night And morning but seems to have subsided for now. Haven't slept and absolutely shattered so going to try now. I can't take another night of this.

Nope... Still having the pains but they're now about every 10-15 mins... I'm going backwards!

I want to die. Pain is now everywhere pretty much, completely exhausted and am going back to hospital as early as possible this morning. Even half an hour to step out of my body would be amazing. Splitting headache, still the relentless back and leg pain, which is now transmitting up to my chest. And contractions which are erratic but strong.

I've had around 3 hours sleep in 2 days now and have not had a break from pain for about 40 hours.

I think someone needs to have a quick baby to spur this one and others on....

Pain in back and tightening again. Doubt this is it but don't think I'm getting any sleep!

Now coming about every 10 mins. Spoke to midwife at triage and they think this is it! I'm not too worried as going in tomorrow regardless so it's nice not to have to be really impatient!

It's not really painful but definitely coming in waves and building to a peak so fairly sure it's contractions.

Hmm went to every 6 minutes and now the last couple were 15 mins apart.

What does show look like? I had this sort of whitish yellowish gross stuff I noticed on a pad this morning...more than my discharge usually is. Is it just thicker discharge?

Hi Reebok - google images for pics of show, it's like a lump of snot (large one) but varies in colour.

reebok yep it is probably the plug - it comes out in bits, varies in colour :white- pale yellow- pinkish-orangey- red

Went for a walk and been cleaning again. Pain has started up again all across bump, lower pelvic area and back. Trying to keep active and distract myself.

How far along are you Tom? Hopefully this is it for me...and hope things get started for you asap!

39+5. Had DD at 36 weeks so this is unchartered territory for me! Bah!

Coming about every 7 minutes now. Looks like I may well be going in before my induction tomorrow morning!
