Hello ladies I have been quietly lurking. Was going to continue doing so but wanted to respond to all your lovely messages.

Managing to stay positive here, actually feel weirdly calm. We really can dig into hidden reserves of strength when needed.

Have spent the morning looking at the profs publications. He really is the dude it comes to this stuff, he practically invented the nuchal test. I can understand why he has all the rich ladies swooning at him. maybe I can get a discount if I tell him I work for charidee.

Congrats to all who had good scan news, hopefully I will just be a bit late to the party.

I will post again when I have more info. Xx

ibip i'm very jealous of upcoming baby cuddles! i'm still trying to get over this cold before i go for baby squeezes with my friend's new little bambino :)

vix and garden it defo starts feeling more real when people know your secret! since telling work last week i've had a bit of a positive pep in my step which feels good. tweaking like mad down there today though, hope my bath last night wasn't too hot, DH got in after though and said it was freezing so hopefully i'm being silly.

Aoife so nice to hear from you! Glad you're feeling positive! Are you seeing Professor Nicolaides? I've read that he's there on Wednesdays so hopefully your appointment will be with him but even if it's not I think he normally pops in to advise. I have everything crossed for you, good luck!

DIY it looks like you only have a couple of weeks' left of pregnancy-related migraines so hang on in there!

Not much to report here, work is hectic at the moment and driving me crazy! I've worn a maternity bra for the first time today as I've noticed that my normal bras started digging in recently. Not even looking at baby things for now, will do after my 20-week scan if everything goes well (brrr, not even thinking about it at the moment)

Aoife- you are in the best hands possible and I hope that gives you some reassurance and confidence. Still thinking of you.

I'm still feeling sick- thought I would vomit in the car this morning- not good!! 12 weeks tomorrow but still have the hurdle of next weeks results to overcome first. I haven't told anyone my secret yet- well except DH.

Right, a second day of not feeling sick and I'm even more nervous. I know every pg is different, but my experiences so far of successful and non-successful pregnancies don't give me much hope to cling on to. I've got my booking appt tomorrow so I will see if I can get an early scan, though as I've already had one, I doubt they'll let me have another. Otherwise I will see how it goes over the weekend, and if my symptoms get less, then I'll book myself in for a private scan next week.

Oh why, why, why does it have to be this hard???? I'm really busy at work and yet all I can think about it is "I wonder if i have a dead baby in my uterus". (Apologies, I know that's not a nice thought). Where's my posifrickitivity????

santa now come on, you need a good fish slap. I hope they will give you another scan so you can be reassured but symptoms change all the time and are not a good indication. Hope you get a lovely mw.

ibip we are scan buddies! What time is yours? I'm at 12.10pm. We can count down together :)

It's rubbish, Santa It's very hard to stay positive when you've had previous bad experiences. I have my scan tomorrow and am convinced there is no HB in there. Have already got it planned out that I'll carry on with the progesterone for our short trip to London over the bank holiday w/end then allow nature to take it's course as I'm off the rest of half term. Completely lost all posifrickingtivity - did anyone see where it went?
Hope you feel reassuringly sick for the next few days. If it helps, I've never really felt sick in any of my pregnancies, successful ones no different to the MCs.

I think we've all had days of symtpoms lessening throughout pg if you look back at posts etc and if there's no cramping or spotting it's probably just an eaiser couple of days for you santa.

Hey ladies I think it may be goodbye from me. Results of scan were about as bad as could be, chances of this being a healthy pregnancy looking very slim. We are heartbroken.
