A place to carry on chatting after a BFP and support each other through the stressful bits. I hope to see many new graduates appearing....

JBrd I'm so sorry. As the others have said, I hope you have someone taking care of you xx

andadietcoke · 18/04/2013 15:35

Lucky that's brilliant news. Congratulations.

Ps all the cool kids are born in November Wink

JanieLovesCake · 18/04/2013 15:41

Aah lucky go on ya good thing!! I'm delighted for you, especially after all your worries! Bloody brilliant news! You've just made me nearly have a wee tear in my eye too Smile big congratulations xxxx

Zeuxippe · 18/04/2013 15:58

Congratulations lucky!! Grin

squizita · 18/04/2013 16:44

Lucky that is such fantastic news! Really made up for you.

I'm getting a bit down myself. Scan tomorrow - the 'last chance' scan. I have had tummy pains over the last few days (and cervix/fanny pain too...) and what with them not seeing a yolk last time... I don't hold out much hope. The consultant won't ERPC until 20mm (to avoid errors) however I will let him know that I don't want to wait endlessly for natural miscarriage if news is bad - I want to be ready for testing as soon as I can be, and also at work it's a very stressful time (work in a successful secondary inner-city-school and it's GCSE term) - to make me wait weeks in limbo feels cruel.

JanieLovesCake · 18/04/2013 16:51

Oh squiz you're a stronger person than I am. Still got my fx (and everything else crossed too) for you tomorrow, what time are you going at?

ChocolateCremeEggBag · 18/04/2013 17:55

Great news Lucky

Good luck tomorrow Squiz hope so much that you get good news xx

Zeuxippe · 18/04/2013 18:52

Lucky13ForBaby · 18/04/2013 19:03

Thank you all so much for your well wishes. Maybe the lucky zebra print socks helped Wink It has been a long 15 days!
Squiz they couldn't see anything on my first scan either. Will be sending you positive vibes tomorrow.
Thinking of you JBird.

How is everyone else doing?

JanieLovesCake · 18/04/2013 19:12

See! The socks!! :) I've got a friend arriving shortly for DVD and I'm so ready to get into bed, honestly don't know if I'll stay awake past 8pm zzz

Aoifebelle · 18/04/2013 19:45

What a day of mixed fortunes. Lucky, delighted for you, must be a massive relief.
Squiz, if tomorrow doesn't bring good news, I hope at least you get clarity.

Hugs to all

shellshock7 · 18/04/2013 19:56

Good luck for tomorrow squiz hope you get good news Smile

Thinking of you Jbrd xxx

squizita · 18/04/2013 20:05

Oh an now I make a bee-line for a post on the miscarriage assoc fearing ERPC causes infertility. Logically I know it doesn't affect ovaries - and will have no choice when it comes to it. Booooo! Silly old sad old me.

BumpKitty · 18/04/2013 20:16

Oh JBrd I'm so sorry, I was thinking about you all day. Life is so shit sometimes. Look after yourself and I wish you all you wish yourself xxxx

Lucky maybe a name change to luckysocks13... :) so pleased for you, I haven't had to go back to the EPU yet - must be hard, but excellent that it was so good for you this time.

squiz look at all the people here who have had ERPC and are pg, you'll have the very best experts looking after you soon and I'm sure they'll do all they can xx

big wave to everyone else, hope you're all well. After two days of feeling like I had more energy I had a mega tiredness crash today, thank god for my dad who played farms with DD all afternoon so I could have a sleep, love him loads :)r

Bodicea · 18/04/2013 22:19

jbird so sorry. Gutted for you. I hope you give yourself some time to heal but know that you will be back here soon x

and squiz get away from that - i had ercp and got pregnant 3 months later. I think it sorted me out.

Bodicea · 18/04/2013 22:21

ps to lucky, big smiles all round for you xxxxx

IBelieveInPink · 18/04/2013 23:18

Good luck for tomorrow squiz. I hope it at least brings you answers, and at most brings you very happy answers :)

jmf294 · 19/04/2013 06:23

Squiz- good luck for today, will be thinking of you and really hope it's good news.
Congratulations on the scan yesterday lucky.

andadietcoke · 19/04/2013 07:23

squiz thinking of you today. Hope you get some answers either way xx

squizita · 19/04/2013 07:34

Thanks everyone for your kind words. It's at 8.30 this morning... who knows? I just hope it won't be another week of waiting; some people don't understand and say 'oh that means they probably think it's ok' which isn't the case at all, they just want to be SURE. If it's bad news I want it to end, so I can contact St Mary's, have tests and then try again.

Bod thanks. That's a great comfort about the erpc.

jmf294 · 19/04/2013 07:43

Squiz although I really hope it doesn't come to an ERPC for you just to let you know I had one in January when I had a MC at 8 weeks.
For me it was the quickest safest option, and it was ok, it was quite peaceful and calm to he honest.
I chose it as I didn't want weeks of bleeding and repeated tests and scans. The risks are low and the anaesthetic only a few minutes.
I got my AF in 4 weeks and got pregnant in the second cycle.
Don't know if you believe but I'll say a pray at 8.30 xxx

GardenWorm · 19/04/2013 07:54

I'll be thinking of you too this morning Squiz x

DIYandEatCake · 19/04/2013 08:12

squiz thinking of you this morning and really hoping you get some good news. You've been so strong and calm through it all, really admire you for that.

So gutted for you jbrd, you've been amazingly composed and strong too. I really hope that when you're ready to ttc it happens quickly.

lucky congratulations, must have been so lovely to see the little heartbeat.

Hope everyone else is going ok too [waves]

shellshock7 · 19/04/2013 08:23

Thinking of you squiz, really hoping for good news

JanieLovesCake · 19/04/2013 08:31

Best if luck squiz xx

Does anyone else get really hot? I'm so roasting in bed and anytime I go into tescos I break out in a mild dizzy sweat and have to grab a bottle of coke. Couldn't sleep terribly well last night as I was so clammy.

Also, my friend who came over for DVD night, her kid goes to the same school as my friend (different years, they just met at our wedding) that offered me the cot. DVD friend came in last night saying oooh I hear you're taking 'cot friends' cot, does that mean I hear pitter patter? I could have screamed. I asked cot friend to not tell anyone I was taking it and hiding it in the attic (neither know I'm pg but know we're TTC). I'm so raging Angry they hardly even know each other and already they're talking about it behind my back which really aggravated me. Both have had totally easy pregnancies (5 between them) and I just had to say to DVD friend that it was too good an offer to pass on but don't want to jinx anything. Do you think I should say something to cot friend along the lines of ...I'm really grateful but can you shut your #%^*€ mouth?!?
