A place to carry on chatting after a BFP and support each other through the stressful bits. I hope to see many new graduates appearing....

Good luck pink and squiz Smile

Yay chocolate congratulations Grin

janie you could always keep it at a relatives house? 'They' say your pram isn't supposed to come in till after the birth so loads of people do it with prams?!

JanieLovesCake · 12/04/2013 08:30

Thanks girls, yes I guess I could...my friend loved a bit if gossip so I'm worried that if I take it she'll start prying deeper ..does that make sense? She would often have me over for dinner and pour me wine just to see if I'd drink it and if I did she'd say 'so your not pregnant then, I was trying to find out'. She has had 2 very easy pregnancies, got pg quickly and announced them at 7 weeks, I think she's oblivious to the emotions that can go along with this whole crap side of pregnancy! She is lovely though, really wants me to be pregnant (almost as much as me!) just has an uncomfortable way of showing it sometimes!

Zeuxippe · 12/04/2013 08:33

Congratulations choc!! So glad to hear your faint lines have finally become true positives! It's lovely to have you with us Grin

Keeping everything crossed for you today ibip and squiz. Really hope you get great results x

Aoifebelle · 12/04/2013 09:09

Welcome chocolate. I am clearly new to all this. I took a faint line as a positive and never did poas again. jbrd hope you can enjoy the wedding today.
zeux and garden hope Friday feels a bit more hopeful for you.
squiz I have everything crossed for you
ibip I am guessing you are About to be covered in jelly. Let us know how you get on. My scan is this day next week, I might steal your countdown

IBelieveInPink · 12/04/2013 09:51

I can't believe it. Bebby. And heartbeat. And wriggles. Measuring slightly smaller than I thought, but trying not to worry about that. Eek.

Thank you everyone for your lovely wishes.

Squiz, thinking of you x

Lucky13ForBaby · 12/04/2013 09:58

Grr just lost my long message. Congrats IPIP :)

Lucky13ForBaby · 12/04/2013 10:07

Welcome to the new recruits :) wishing you a happy, healthy and uneventful pregnancy. Its not an easy time after what we have been through but you will find a lot of support on here. RL friends who have not experienced what we have been through, in my experience, just don't understand and as Janie said can be quite oblivious to our worries and anxiety. I actually did around 10 tests Blush

Thinking of you today Squiz hope all is well. I still have 7 days to wait to find out what is going on. Hating limbo land!

How is everyone today? JBird are you ok? Remember ladies, 'Today we are pregnant'.

I am sooo tired today. DS got up between 3.00am and 5.00am. Tired and sick is not a good combination!

Zeuxippe · 12/04/2013 10:14

Congratulations ibip!! Great news Flowers

JanieLovesCake · 12/04/2013 10:14

Yay ibip!!! Delighted for you and mr pink!!!

shellshock7 · 12/04/2013 10:19

Congrats pink Grin what a relief!

Aoifebelle · 12/04/2013 10:43

Woo Hoo IBIP. What a great start to the day. Here's hoping for a full house of wriggling beans. Lucky we are on the same scanning schedule T minus seven days and counting. Getting a bit emotional thinking about it - must control myself in the workplace!

Pentagon · 12/04/2013 10:44

Thank you all for your warm welcome! And welcome "chocolate", I'm also new to this thread.

ibip congratulations!! Wonderful news! How many weeks are you? Don't worry if the measurements are a little bit off - at my 6 week scan the baby measured 2-3 days smaller than I had expected while my scan earlier this week put me further ahead than I thought I was (I had expected to be 10w and 1 or 2d but the baby measured 10w 5d).

squiz good luck today! JBrd enjoy the wedding!

Janie congratulations on your first wedding anniversary, I hope you have a wonderful weekend celebrating!

And everyone in the early days, take one day at a time. It's torture but when you get good news, you forget about all the stress and worry.

Wishing you all a nice day and weekend!

andadietcoke · 12/04/2013 11:58

ibip I'm having a bit of a moment at my desk. Welling up and lip wobbling and everything. I'm so, so happy for you Grin

Aoifebelle · 12/04/2013 13:17

Is anyone else refreshing this thread compulsively? Can't concentrate on work thinking about y'all.

squizita · 12/04/2013 13:42

Wonderful news IBIP!!! Smile

Congrats Janie on your anniversary.

Just got back from the hospital, not good news but not definitive bad news. Just feel deflated really. First off, the consultant thankfully doesn't think I have an ectopic. The bad news is the sac is growing, but not by loads (it was 11mm Tuesday, 13mm today) and he can't see a yolk etc' and also it looks a bit deflated, not all nice and round and perfect. So he thinks it is getting ready to miscarry BUT he is seeing me again on Friday because "sometimes" things pick up.

IBelieveInPink · 12/04/2013 13:51

Oh squiz. I'm sorry. It must be so hard to be left another week without answers. I'm very glad it is not ectopic, but sorry you are left in limbo again. Still, at least there is a little hope. Are you doing okay?

squizita · 12/04/2013 13:56

Yeah I guess... I just can't help thinking my eggs must be failing. Clearly my insides can sustain the correct hormones, make a sac etc' yet this will be the 3rd time the pregnancy has failed at this time. :(

Aoifebelle · 12/04/2013 13:59

Oh Squiz, i am so sorry that you are still in limbo. I can't imagine how tough it must be. I hope you have someone around to take care of you. Let's hope yours is just a bit of a late starter.

DIYandEatCake · 12/04/2013 14:09

Oh squiz, another week to wait? That's so hard, thinking of you, really hope things work out for you.

Congratulations pink, really pleased your scan went well.

Thanks guys for suggesting the clearblue tests, did one this morning that came up 2-3 so feel a bit better. Think conception was 3 weeks ago today or tomorrow so am ok with that, got another to do in a few days so fingers crossed for a 3+ then. zeux, if it reassures you any I feel pretty normal too, sometimes I think I feel nauseous but then wonder if I'm making it up.
Can't believe how slow it's all going, still just 5+1, trying to keep busy but still obsessing....!

shellshock7 · 12/04/2013 14:09

squiz I was sure you would have an answer today and was really hoping it was good news...this waiting must be so tough, life really is a bitch sometimes, hope you are being looked after x

BumpKitty · 12/04/2013 14:48

Fantastic ibip ! What did they date you at? I don't think LMP dates are ever that accurate , even if you have a perfect 28 day cycle then you don't know for sure that ovulation is bang in the middle. Anyway who cares, a real baby with a heartbeat and everything Grin

BumpKitty · 12/04/2013 14:51

squiz what a bugger, another week. I'm sorry I had forgotten that you had had 2 previous miscarriages I guess the only positive, if this is another one, is they will do some investigations into what's going on. Thinking of you xx

DIYandEatCake · 12/04/2013 14:53

And congratulations chocolate, glad you've made it here too!

BumpKitty · 12/04/2013 14:54

Oh and welcome chocolate so pleased to see you here are you the only recruit from this fertile Friday?
Right I'll stop posting now promise!

squizita · 12/04/2013 14:58

I just googled like an idiot and found an ask.com article stating if there was no yolk at 13mm is "was" a blighted ovum. Sad Though if this were the case, would they be offering a scan to see if anything changed? The consultant said his guidelines were if it got to 20mm.
