I spent the whole of my last pregnancy thinking 'I don't care what happens so long as I don't have a cs', it was all i worried about and guess what I ended up with??!

it was fine though - codeine is a wonderful thing! I recovered really quickly and was walking to the pub 5 days later, I really wouldn't worry about it.

I definately agree about cheapo nighties, mine got cut up for dusters as soon as I was out of hospital.

Hello girls, this is Spub's hub.

After the Chinese she felt really tired, went for a lie down and at about 3.45pm her waters broke. Hospital said they wanted to take a look at her, so a pal ran her up while I drove home from work....

Small contractions started about 5pm, so they took her in about 7.30 and at 7.56 Charlie Matthew arrived safe and sound!! 7lbs 9oz, pink and plump and wondering what just happened. Mum got the shakes a bit from the anaesthetic but did brilliantly. As soon as she was installed in the maternity ward I was given Mumsnet instructions and told to post!

Both doing well, he's had two good feeds, the drugs were wearing off when I left at 10.30 and it was getting a bit sore. I'll pass on your best wishes.
