She should have gone into theatre at lunchtime but I haven't heard anything yet I am afraid to text in case I disturb her but will she think I'm rude if I don't? Anyway, providing I get Diddles permission to report on her behalf, as soon as I know anything, you will know. I hope she is okay...

yes i am anxious to hear about diddle, don't worry too much they might not have taken her to theatre until 5pm in which case she would still be in recovery.
when i had my stitch ops i was booked in and there were no emergencys but they were still running 2 hours behind schedule.

Bit the bullet and text her. I said that I was so sorry if I had disturbed her and I understood if she didnt want to reply, but we were wondering how she is and are a bit worried. Hope that wasn't to pushy I am SO worried about her...if she didn't get her CS today she will be so upset, but then you always worry something hasn't gone to plan.....

DIDDLE PLEASE GET IN TOUCH!!!!!

And now I'm thinking I am jumping the gun. Does anyone know when she would be back in her room after a CS? If he had her op at, say 1pm when would she be back in her room tucked up in bed?

CH - no idea of the timescales involved. Hopefully diddle will be absolutely fine but it would be reassuring to hear from her. BTW, you've not been remotely "Pushy" - just a very good friend. Don't fret too much if you can help it. Take care and hopefully, we'll get some fab news soon.

Baby Joshua was born at 12.28pm yesterday. he weighed in at a very healthy 8lb 15.5oz and is absolutely beautiful. He has dark hair and is a definate boy!!

Mother and baby doing great, althugh Diddle is a bit sore understandably. I poke to Daddy Diddle yesterday and he says they are both extremely happy and Baby Diddle as worth long and eventually quite stressful wait.
