hiya all im still not in labour..although i have had some contractions this morning, i am gonna start timeing them now to see if they are regular, i doubt they will be though.

hope we hear some news from diddle soon and HK am thinking of you, please keep baby in for at least a few more weeks xxxx

Still no news? Can't believe it! I even dreamed Slink had her baby last night--in the very cafe where I met her in Covent Garden. She then went calmly to the counter and ordered an extra portion of felafel for the new arrival. Then I had an erotic dream about the hunky kiwi guy who is painting our attic floor.

Hi, can I join you lot? Had a bfp this morning, m/c Easter this year. I'm a bit nervous about joining a full on antenatal thread as I did that last time and then had to leave again pretty sharpish.

Thanks! I've been feeling pretty sick for the past week or so which is quite re-assuring. Every time I complain of feeling sick dh just says 'good' which is not going down well!

Quick update on Diddle:

Booked in for c-section tomorrow lunchtime, although it might be later as emergencies get priority of course. So she is still waiting. I have asked her if they have said why things are not kicking off, but no reply as of yet...

Just heard from Diddle :

Gel making her contract but she is not dilating. She could have another lot of gel or her waters broken but she hasn't slept for 2 nights so she is exhausted and is scared she will be to tires to labour and end up wth an emegency section. So she has opted for an elective section so she can stay awake. She is also a bit worried baby will get distressed with all the poking and pessaries. I think she has made the right decision to be honest an this way she knows she willhave her baby by teatime tomorrow - how exciting!! She will let me know when she will be going donw to theatre tomorrow so we can all send her positive vibes

oh shit i think it is, its hurting in my back- i thought i'd come online and time them as i have a contraction timer, better than a watch, and i can't sleep now anyway.

if this is labour i am sccccaaarreeed, i was just discussing how inconvenient it would be to have the baby over the next 4 days as i have my ds party and birthday. things will work out i guess

WOW!! 2 babies in one day - COOL!!

i did it!!!!!!!! after my post i woke up dp and contractions didn't give me a break! i was trying to stop pushing because midwifes hadn't arrived!
they came i got in half full birth pool and pushed for an hour and baby came he was born at 5.46am !

kids slept through it. he is 7lb 12oz

will write a real birth announcement when i can
