calm down ladies, diddle is here.
haven't been on because this bump is geting so heavy and my pc is so hot when the suns out. still no baby 41+2 today. Angry

been for reflexology today to see if that works, fingers crossed.

got induction on Tuesday, but seriosuly want baby to come before.

HellKat · 18/06/2006 06:21

WWW- Thanks! Set yourself little milestones & goals, it seems to help. The first 12 wks dragged by so slowly but after that it's truly flown! It seems as if every week goes by quicker than the last!
Diddle- {{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}} aww darling! Lo's tucked up & you made such a good job of incubating him/her that it does'nt want to leave! Smile.

Missmibaby · 18/06/2006 11:02

Arabica thanks for your message. It's good to talk to someone. I just hate the way at hospitals they give the news (very vaguely) and then leave you to stew for a few days before they can investigate properly. I don't want to go on about it to much here so I've continued on my other thread.

Good luck to everyone else who is near to birthstories. I've been following your progress with avid interest.

Thanks to everyone else for your messages of support. You are all top ladies!

mygirllolipop · 18/06/2006 14:46

Welcome WWW, a lot of us on here have had early MCs so I can't advice on how to cope beyond the early goal posts. Although that doesn't actually stop us worrying past those goal posts. I just wish you the best of luck.
Missmibaby - really feel for you while things are up in the air.
Diddle - hope you have this baby before Tues, really don't want you to have to have the induction.
Hello everyone else. Hope all is well.

slinkstah · 18/06/2006 16:08

www- congratulations on your pg:) welcome to the club. using milestones is great -i was counting the days until 34 weeks and then i started to relax a bit and start beleiving that i was actually having a baby, now im 39+3Shock

diddle- glad you tried reflexology, how was it? have you had any contractions since then? I just realised something too if you are already 1cm dialated then when they induce you, you will prob start dialating on just the gel they give so there maybe no need for the drug.

well i had a feellyweely inside ye old fanjo- and sure enough babys head is there, it feels slippery and rock hard, the slipperyness is the membranes i assume. i was shocked as it feels like he's not got a long way to go before he is out! still no painful contractions though:( when will proper labour happen ? ive done nothing but drink raspberry leaf tea and bounce on ball and walk and eat hot food etc. Im gonna try nipple tweaking later too.

HellKat · 18/06/2006 17:12

Wow Slink!!! Surely you can't have long to go! That's amazing about lo's head!!!!

Good luck girlies!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

spub · 18/06/2006 19:27

Good luck to Slink and Diddle! Looking forward to hearing some news soon!

Coathanger · 18/06/2006 21:04

Well, I very rarely post now (and I am not PG so shouldn't really be posting) but Slink, your post abouot having a "feellyweely inside ye old fanjo" nearly made me wet myself!!!!!!!!! hehee!!!

C'mon those little bundles that are due now - Aunty Coathanger is itching to see you!!

diddle · 18/06/2006 21:08

WWW - congrats to you, i agree take each little milestone as it comes, the weeks will fly past.

Slink - surely it can't be long before your little one drops out Grin can't wait for you mate, its been a long road, but we're almost there. Tried reflexology, it was sooo relaxing, very nice. i have had plenty of braxton hicks, and quite a major show, which has encouraged me into thinking that something must be happening down there. lets hope so. got 1 day and 2 nights until induction so we'll see if i manage to start before we get there, fingers crossed.

HK - thanks for your lovely message, i think baby must have foudn a good home in my tummy.

HellKat · 19/06/2006 07:42

Morning all!!
Ch- I was nearly wetting myself too at the "Fanjo" comment pmsl
Diddle- You're very welcome hun, it's the truth. Sounds as if things could be moving for you too!! Good luck hun.
Slink- Any news??? How's the Fanjo holding out? WinkGrin

God I'm all excited!!!!!!!!!! Reminds me I have'nt got too too long to wait GrinGrinGrin.
Still got a feeling either this baby will come so quickly that dp & i will have to deliver or it'll be an awkward little so & so, won't turn & I'll need a cs. So far both my births were so completely different to eachother that I think this one will be too. Dying to know just how big this one is lol (if it's more than 9lbs I'm demanding a cs) Wink

Nesting yet again here. Had my living room curtains washed & hung outside before 7am Smile. This place has never gleamed like this before lol.
Have a great all. Hugs & kisses to all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

mygirllolipop · 19/06/2006 08:51

yes slink - the fanjo comment made me laugh too! hopefully things will move along soon, can't be comfortable walking around with baby's head practically hanging out!
Diddle - really hoping for something to happen for you today, really good news about the show and increase in BH.
Hi CH! Morning everyone I'm sweltering even though it's cloudy!

FN · 19/06/2006 09:58

Sink - wow and you ermm.. you felt it what an experience Smile and 39 +4 you have held out well

Diddle - good news on major show fingers crossed it happens before tomo

Good luck with the births Smile

slinkstah · 19/06/2006 11:14

HIYA Auntie Coathanger:) missed your posts- i knew you'd be too busy once college started glad you haven't forgotton us though. hope your ok xxxxx

HK- wow your nesting much better than mine i totally forgot about the curtains lol oh and fanjo is slightly snotty lol

diddle- looks like your baby will be born before mine as i can't see me going into labour before tommorrow! weve spent the last 9 months telling baby not to come out now the poor things just want to stay!

spub · 19/06/2006 13:15

Only on a forum like Mumsnet can we all admire our Slink for the "feely inside the fanjo" and be happy to get updates like the fact that it's now "snotty"!! ROFL.
Slink and Diddle - get those babies out and let us all get misty eyed.
CH- brilliant to hear from you, mate.
Hugs to all on the board.

Arabica · 19/06/2006 13:20

Well, I felt sure that having been offline all w/e there would be a birth or two to celebrate, but not yet, it seems!
Missmibaby, glad my post helped, it is indeed bloody awful having to wait and wait for more information all the time. Am still in that situation at 33+5. Hope the same doesn't happen to you.

SnowBoo · 19/06/2006 14:09

Diddle and Slink, can't believe you are still going!!!! Come on babies, make an appearance!
Slink, if my baby manages to worm his way out so quietly i will be soooo happy! At least it should only take a little push to get him out! Have you tried a few little squeezes? lol.

Well advise needed ladies. Am 33+3 (can't quite believe it!) and am getting some seriously painful BH's. Making me feel really sick with each one and they have been coming on and off since last night. Is this normal????

AM also anaemic (thought the soap was maye a bit of a clue....) so feeling really tired and yucky.

Whinge over. Just advise please!

spub · 19/06/2006 15:02

Snow- get some Spatone sachets from Boots down yer neck.
Iron liquid suplement thingie. Mix in OJ and take 2 per day. Taste ok and really do the job without constipating you!

SnowBoo · 19/06/2006 15:09

Cheers spub, wasn't looking forward to iron tablets and subsequent probs!

Will send dh later to buy some.

oinker · 19/06/2006 16:41

spub · 19/06/2006 18:00

OOOh, there must be a baby announcement imminent very soon!!!

mygirllolipop · 19/06/2006 19:19

Diddle- good luck for tommorrow or if things are moving along now!

HellKat · 20/06/2006 06:21

Morning all.
Diddle- Good luck for today hunny!!!!!!!
Slink- Good luck wherever you are too hun.

So sleepy this morning, kept awake all night by strong cramping so will mention this morning when I see the consultant. Have decided that either this baby wants to arrive early & is testing the waters or it's a big 'un and it's sheer size is making me sore Grin

Have a great day all & hopefully we'll hear some news about our latest graduates(to-be).
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

oinker · 20/06/2006 07:08
