WeFrizyouamerrychristmas · 03/12/2006 21:29

Your off Debsey, trust me, shows and feeling sick, your well on your way, it'll not be long now, you won't be seeing the MW for a sweep, more like a birth!

Dingdongdebbsyandbibbyonhigh · 03/12/2006 21:32

do you really think so? when do you think then?

WeFrizyouamerrychristmas · 03/12/2006 21:48

I seriously think next 24hrs, and I'd be highly tempted to narrow it down to 12, honestly, you've gone thru every symptom I managed in two births Sure Nemo and anyone else whose around will back me up on this.
With dd1 I went off my food, went to bed at 10, woke up at 2 contracting mildly, dh dragged me to hospital anyway, I started feeling sick on way in, threw up when I got there, then had a show, then proceeded to throw up thru the labour til dd1 was born total of 7hrs start to finish.
Didn't throw up with dd2, but again show at 4-5cm hardly any pain uptil then, and dd2 del'd in total 8hrs.
Hon your on your way, sure of it good luck, I'll eat someones hat if you've not given birth by Tue at latest!

Dingdongdebbsyandbibbyonhigh · 03/12/2006 21:50

lol ill keep you informed thanks for trying so hard to keep me positive i really appreciate it xx (((hugs)))

Nemoinapeartree · 03/12/2006 21:53

see am no good at the symptoms bits as have been induced both times with mine but judging by what I know from other peoples labours it does seem likely to be soon. Must agree though even being induced I have felt ill with both mine and had the trots for the clear out.

Dingdongdebbsyandbibbyonhigh · 04/12/2006 10:22

hi seeing her today at 1.30pm think she is going to do a sweep, something must be happening though musnt it as ive had 4 shows now?

Dingdongdebbsyandbibbyonhigh · 04/12/2006 10:23

ive posted on your other thread how are things today hun?

CantSleepWithSanta · 04/12/2006 10:31

Well if you make it as far as the midwife, then at least she'll be able to tell you how dilated you are already. Hopefully it will be lots and that will cheer you up! Am I remembering correctly that you weren't dilated at all for the last sweep? Maybe that's why it hurt, as I didn't find mine uncomfortable at all, but I was already 1-2cm dilated when I had it.

Dingdongdebbsyandbibbyonhigh · 04/12/2006 10:49

yep thats right i wasnt but when i went to the hospital that night my cervix had opened slightly between a few hours.
