Light hearted question, but share yours with people that care and might even empathise (DH is struggling to keep his sympathy face on these days).

Mine would have to be acid reflux I reckon (with a silver for the SPD and a bronze for sore under-carriage)!

Piles

Never ever had one in my life before now and being pregnant coupled with a nasty, nasty cough has forced one the size of a marble to appear, first 3 days it was incredibly painful and now it it looks like its here to stay until after the birth and may even give me jip in the future. I am actually devastated about it.

aamia · 22/08/2012 10:51

Right this second the worst symptom is being jittery and hormonal and wanting to kill something!!! Second after that is bump being tight and baby heavy so can't get comfy sitting, or standing, or lying down, or....!

milk · 22/08/2012 11:09

Right leg feels wooden... I hate dragging it around :(

abigboydidit · 22/08/2012 11:19

Piles here too. So much for glowing in pregnancy

MrsMarigold · 22/08/2012 11:40

34 weeks +3

Gold: It was heartburn but now it's gone. I had horrendous acid reflux and was vomiting all the time, Gaviscon was useless, Ranitidine didn't really help but on Monday I saw the GP and now I'm on Omeprazole twice daily (20mg) and I can drink water again and eat! When I had DS it was awful but the glass of water I had immediately after he was born was the sweetest, most hydrating, delicious thing I've ever tasted.

Silver: Spotty botty - awful! It's so embarrassing and unattractive, I've even contemplated make-up when DH has to look at it.

Bronze: Rib pain, I never had this before but it's hell. I think it's linked to lifting DS who is 14 months old. I took a taxi the other day and he was so aggressive on corners I was almost winded with pain.

BTW my friend reckons if you are having a boy you will have worse constipation, this has certainly been true in my case with DS I had awful constipation and piles this time it's a girl and I'm fine.

l3mma · 22/08/2012 12:30

vomitting just before bed time (I am 19 weeks on friday so getting rather fed up of it) x

sayanythingrogerjustrogerme · 22/08/2012 17:24

I'm going to throw inability to tolerate heat and neverending mucus into the mix. I've had a horrid few days, can you tell? 10 days till my due date and then I'm yanking him out myself.

NeedlesandPins · 22/08/2012 20:44

Tiredness, no t being able to sleep and restless legs and im only 19 weeks

theTramp · 22/08/2012 23:42

Gold - nausea

Silver - exhaustion

Bronze - snottiness

& I'm only just ten weeks so sounds like loads more joy to come

whatsoever · 23/08/2012 12:33

I would have said the meralgia parasthetica (trapped nerves giving me numb/very painful thighs) but that seems to have miraculously all but gone. However now I have a pain like being kicked in the left side of my groin and am leaking wee so strongly suspect I have the startings of SPD.

Oh joy.

QuietTiger · 23/08/2012 12:52

Constant migraines. They are driving me nuts. Not helped by ridiculous cravings for marmite. I can't stand marmite!

Littleplasticpeople · 23/08/2012 12:54

Cramp in my lower legs and feet at night time. Literally having to get up and walk around for much of the night, therefore I'm also exhausted all day ( but with no cramp Hmm )

Btw, those of you suffering with acid/heartburn, the doctors are very happy to prescribe omeprazole in pregnancy. I was suffering to the point of vomiting, but sine taking omeprazole it's been virtually cured.

Currently 34 weeks

utopian99 · 23/08/2012 13:04

Mine is easily idiot colleagues in the all male office I work in thinking it's perfectly acceptable to tell me how massive I'm getting, and I'm only 24+6 and absolutely bang on projected weight gain for my BMI/pre-pg weight.

I don't tell them how fat/ugly they are, or how revolting I think its is that one of them never washes his hands after going to the WC, or that I caught another of them washing his leg (oh yes) in the staff kitchen SINK the other day...

berri · 23/08/2012 19:48

Constipated too Blush does anyone have any advice? I'm only 4 bloody weeks!!!!

Signet2012 · 23/08/2012 21:56

Berri. Apricots and tropicana !

berri · 23/08/2012 22:44

On my shopping list now, thank you!

Hennycluckington · 23/08/2012 22:51

Burping.............DH says I now sound like a dock worker Blush
And this weird ramdom hiccup thing that makes me rather loudly and unexpectedly go hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiic!

theTramp · 23/08/2012 22:54

Berri - liquorice. Clears you out wonderfully. And then add apricots to your daily steal or nibble on dried ones as a snack once a day.

Utop - your colleagues sound like princes.

theTramp · 23/08/2012 22:54

Steal was meant to say cereal.. Obviously!

CaptainHetty · 23/08/2012 23:23

My body appears to have forgotten how to sleep. It's most annoying.

berri · 24/08/2012 00:18

Oh I like liquorice! Especially when it's chocolate covered...

theTramp · 24/08/2012 08:44

Not sure about chocolate covered but the Holland & Barret or Lakeland liquorice, which have slightly less sugar & salt than the usual stuff is the way to go

dontcarehow · 24/08/2012 08:49

I'm going to add; indigestion that makes me feel uncomfortably full all day, even when I'm so hungry that I'm sick. ergh

Queenofsiburbia · 24/08/2012 08:56

rossetticonfetti
I have loads of sympathy, you poor thing esp the being sick story Sad

I am on my first, only 25 weeks and have recently had / still have a cold with awful awful cough. This is having same impact on me as on you, despite diligent PFE's.

I went to see Dr as am so embarrassed & worried about it getting worse as I get more pregnant / after the birth. He said 'no point in worrying about the future & what might happen' ??? Angry Confused
Anyway he said that bladders need training due to receptors or something and to not empty too often as their capacity then gets smaller. We're going to 'monitor it' (also he's doing a test for bladder infection) and 'see how it goes'. Glad I pay national insurance for that!

I'm going on indulgent anniversary trip in Europe next month & really don't want to wear a pad at night. So far DH hasn't noticed.

Why is pregnancy so undignified?!

vivvy78 · 28/08/2012 18:14

SPD!! Baby number 3 on it's way. It's far far worse this time. Want to curl up into a ball and hibernate until christmas. Spending a fortune at the chiropractor which is really helping with all the other aches and pains but unfortunatly there's no treatment except rest. and with 2 under 4's that's never going to happen.
An the heart burn's a b**rd. Gets so bad it burns in my ears!
Rant over
